My company contracted the services of Licensed Structural Engineers to produce design plans for the residence of one of my clients. During my initial conversation with ******** I was informed that once the inspection was scheduled, it would take up to two weeks to receive the preliminary drawings.I signed the estimate and paid a deposit in the amount of $1,890 on April 21st of this year. The inspection was conducted on April 30th. It has now been eight weeks, and we have not received any documentation or updates from this company. On their online portal, the delivery dates continue to be pushed back. It has been impossible to reach anyone by phone or emaildespite more than 30 calls and emails attempts to various numbers and emails, all have ********* is also important to note the companys website displays the BBB (Better Business Bureau) accreditation logo; however, neither the Florida office nor their Texas office is actually accredited. This is misleading and raises serious ethical concerns regarding their business practices. In my view, this behavior constitutes a form of extortion.Due to the significant delays, the lack of communication, and the risk posed to my clients structurally delicate project, I am formally requesting a full refund of the amount paid. The time lost and the inability to move forward with this critical project has resulted in substantial professional and financial harm.Initial Complaint

On January 8th 2025 I maid a credit card payment of $750.00 + 3% for handling. On February 4th 2025 I made a payment of $550.00 + 3% for handling charges for an Engineering Plan Order Number *****. I received a Digital PDF Copy of plans but the Pembroke Pines Building Department requires all 4 pages to be signed. I placed a request to Licensed Structural Engineers to send me The plans with All pages signed in Digital PDF form. I received Paper copies of the plans with All four pages signed but NO DIGITAL PDF COPY. I have a trail of texts from the Project Manager in charge. His name is Nima Neoke. His cellphone number is ************ and his direct number is ************. I have been dealing with this Gentleman since January. He has no credibility. I have a thread of him texting me that he would take care of this matter, he never did and stopped all communication with me. I had to Hire a Contractor at an additional cost of $1,500.00 to take of this matter and in a week's time I received confirmation of the acquisition of the permit for the sliding door installation. At this time, I'm requesting a refund of $1,250.00 + 3% for handling charges. In addition, I'm requesting a $300.00 payment that I sent out to an account provided to me. Account information is. ****************** I NO LONGER need their services. This Company is an ABSOLUTEL NIGHTMARE to deal with. Again, Licensed Structural Engineers at *************************************************** MIR **** ******* is the Engineer that signed the plans as you will notice on my upload. I'm 73 years old, retired and this has caused me alot of Stress. I REQUEST A FULL REFUND AN MAKE THE PUBLIC AWARE THAT EVERYONE SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Retained the services on Licensed Structural Engineers, **** on August 26, 2024 to draw up structural, mechanical, and electrical plans for permitting. The engineers name is ******* ******. Plans were received in September 2024 for permitting, but were insufficient according to *************. I attempted to make contact with the company and ******* numerous times via email and phone about correcting the plans. They did not respond. In October 2024, I was able to reach the engineers supervisor, ***, who assured me the issue would be resolved. We agreed to schedule a date/time for the engineer to visit the residence and correct the plans, which was October 30th, 2024. After the engineers visit on October 30th, 2024, he stated the plans would be completed within 4-6 weeks, which would be December 11, 2024 at the latest. I did not receive the plans as promised. We are now in February 2025, and I have yet to receive the plans or a response from the engineer or his company.Initial Complaint

Licensed Structural Engineers was paid the 50% deposit for architectural services. My order number is *****. I decided not to proceed with the project. I spoke to ******** *****, the operations manager in August after trying to reach them for a few weeks. She researched the issue. On 9/6/2024, she assured me I would get a partial refund in the amount of $2,221.04 within a few weeks. I have since followed up several times. She continues to say she will follow up with the accounting department and that she will get back to me with an update. I have never heard back from her. I have left messages, texted her, and emailed her for the past few weeks with no reply. When I call the main number, they say ******** is the only person with whom I can speak. I have asked for her superior and they have refused to provide me with their name or contact information. I have emailed the main email address for the company and also tried to send them a messaged via ********. I am requesting that someone from the company contact me and to refund me the amount of $2,221.04 immediately.Initial Complaint

July 18th : $1,313.90 paid via CashApp for 50% deposit July 23rd : After *******s visit, I emailed all requested drawings and info July 29th : Emailed ******* to HOLD on plans until we discuss the roof July 30th : Emailed ******* example of shed roof August 3rd : After six days trying to reach ******* via email, text, and phone, I emailed asking for a refund (minus his visit)August 6 : After nine days not hearing from *******, I emailed asking for my refund August 7th : ******* and I agreed to communicate exclusively via email August 8th : I emailed ******* to ask about my refund August 13th : After six days with no response from ******* about the refund, I called and spoke to ******* who promised me a full refund.August 29th : I received and email from FLE about an appointment confirmation September 5th : After OVER A MONTH requesting a refund and AFTER 23 DAYS of a refund being promised by *******, I spoke to ******** who had no idea about my conversation with *******. Today I also emailed FLE demanding refund info via email within 72 hours.September 6th : ******** ***** LSEs Operations Manager via email I have asked the accounting department for an *** and told them to make a priority.September 16th : 10 days after a full refund was promised as a priority and after 43 days asking No refund nor any word of when to expect refund. I hired this company to draw plans for a carport and was told it would be 2 to 4 weeks it has now been 8 weeks and I have not received my plans but the i have waited for weeks sometimes to get a single reply and then when I finally do I am just left with someone who cant answer the question and told to wait again the plans they have submitted have been reviewed by another firm and are considered incomplete and not able to be built as the materials listed on the are not and have not ever been produced to make matters worse I received a email today asking to have a meeting with the ceo and project manager to go on record with the state I replied and have accepted there offer to do so and have email the over site committee for engineers the contract i signed said a trained engineer will come and evaluate my property and draw the plans the gentlemen who came is not a engineer and he is the one who attempted to draw my plans but have yet to get them signed off on by a actual engineer the second attachment is him emailing me asking what beams should go there
