  I wish I would have read the reviews first, also. I had high hopes for this transaction and this is my first time ever writing a negative review. I am truly disappointed. Over the phone- wonderful before the move. I was quoted one price and told the representative that I could not pay more, verifying that my total was set. I was verbally guaranteed that I would not be charged more. WRONG! DO NOT SIGN THE ONLINE CONTRACT UNTIL YOU READ IT CAREFULLY!! ALL OF IT AND ASK ALL KINDS OF QUESTIONS about it!!!!!! It does not matter what they tell you over the phone. Check on "bulky" items!! On the day they moved 16 items, 2 miles down the road, they would NOT release my items off of the truck until I emptied my bank account to pay over $550 more!!!! Cash only!!! Over the worker's phone, I was told to pay or they would take my belongings to a warehouse until I paid. The movers decide what is bulky and can add on fees without telling you and charge $30 per mile for gas on top of the $99 travel fee. Beware of an origin/destination fee and transportation surcharge that is way overpriced and never discussed. The workers were efficient, kind, and careful but unless you are ready to empty your bank account on the spot, think twice. When I called about the overcharge...all I got was it is too late, it is closed, you signed the contract. She did not care what was told to me over the phone...just about the contract. READ IT BEFORE SIGNING if you decide to use them. READ IT!!!!!! That is ALL they go by!!!!!!!

  I hired this company to move from an upstairs 2 bedroom apartment into 3 bedroom house which is less than a 5 min drive away. Everyone was friendly when I was doing my estimate and they wanted my money. I went through my home and gave the woman every piece of furniture I would be moving (ex 8 drawer dresser sectional couch etc) I estimated 20 medium sized boxes and four 30 gallon plastic bins . She did the estimate and told me the price for 2 movers 3 hrs plus an hour and half worth of drive time would be 599 dollars . I stressed a needed a morning slot because I have a young autistic child and his room would need to be set up by that night. I was assured there wouldn’t be an issue. This estimate also include disassembly and reassembly of furniture such as beds. I sent the required deposit 275 dollars via cash app (as per company request) Fast forward to the day before the move I contacted small move movers to find out what time they would be arriving . I was told between 10 and 11 am July 1 2023. Ok fine . July 1 2023 11am rolls around and nothing so I contacted them they said the movers were delayed . Long story short the movers finally showed up at 830pm!!!!! The furniture was all disassembled and ready to go. The entire move including paperwork and payment to 1 hr and 46 mins . I was giving a bill for 575 dollars in addition to the 275 deposit . The bill stated “bulky items” and a 300 dollar charge . I paid because I needed my things . I contacted the company Monday and was told the supervisor was not available. I called again today and the customer service supervisor Renee refused to take my call!!!! This company is a scam!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

  Truly a SCAM. Nicest customer service reps they tell you all is included and set then they hit you with fees my move estimate was $300 I anticipated added hours but ended up with a $1,400 bill to move a two bedroom townhome this is insanity they refuse to give you your items till you pay them. They dont ************ only CashApp. Truly a scam beware!!

  When I sold my house and moved to *********** (5/1/2023) I hired a moving company to help with the transition. Small Move Movers has been a nightmare. They stole over **** dollars from me and refused to unload my belongs because the zelle I sent them wouldnt release until the next day. They then made me cash app the money to them (the only way to get my things unloaded). After two days and not hearing from them I called the company. ***** refused to talk to me and blocked me. I was yelled at and insulted by the customer service representative for asking about my money. I was then told by the customer service rep that their companys bank account has been frozen. I had never called my bank or disputed the charges (its zelle and cash app the bank will not reverse it). They also would not allow me to speak with the owner and told me to ****** it and figure out who he is. I have literally been fighting for my sanity because I just dont have the money to give a way. That was my next months rent and electricity. ??????? Please dont use this company. They are scammers. I read the reviews a little too late. For I have never seen the righteous forsaken! Share! Save someone who may be in a rush like I was from this scam company!

  Was quoted one price, gave a $1000 deposit, the movers showed up to my house and said its going to be way more. Luckily they only got me for $1000. Its definitely a scam company. Beware.

  SCAM!!!! BEWARE. On the initial phone call, they quoted me $995 to move a small amount of furniture. The day before the move, they revised their estimate to $1430.70. There were LESS items to be moved than on the estimate. The loading and unloading time was LESS than the estimate. When they arrived, they changed the price to $3105.03 and HELD MY FURNITURE HOSTAGE UNTIL I PAID THE FRAUDULENT CHARGES IN CASH ONLY! These people are UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM ARTISTS!!!! I have reported them to the US Department of Transportation and the Florida Department of Agriculture that regulates movers!!!!

  ***DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS*** These guys are an absolute joke! We hired them to move our office. They said they would take down our cubicles and put them back up in the new location. They arrived on Saturday morning said they would not take down our cubicles. After some back and forth we paid our own people to take down the cubicles. They said they were going to send their guys to go work on a different job, to which I said no just have them move our other furniture. They refused to stay on the job and would come back when the cubicles were disassembled. 90 minutes later our cubicles where disassembled I called them to come back and they refused said they had to many other jobs to do and wouldn’t be able to come back to ours until Monday. So somehow on a job that was likely going to take 6 hours anyways they were unavailable 90 minutes into. They will not be doing our move Monday. I can’t believe how unprofessional they were. Luckily we found a way more reputable mover to complete our move on Sunday.
