To say were disappointed with J&J is an understatement. It started ok with the walk-thru by ***** and we signed a contract for $8,500 of work. They couldnt schedule us for weeks, but they agreed to trim a few trees first to get them away from the roof (hurricane season). When they came, it was obvious ***** and the crews do not talk. They started clearing my entire front yard. While this was part of the larger project, we didnt want this mess to sit for weeks until they came back, but we let it go. When they came back, the ***** grinder said one large ***** in front is not included. Why would we want all but one done? We called ***** and he told them to just do it. This was made to feel like a favor but should have been in the contract already. ***** was also told we wanted to remove a GIANT plant in back to put in a fire pit. They cut it to 3 feet high and said its not their job to remove/grind the rest. They also didnt grind any stumps in back saying its not in the scope. Why would we want the front ground and not the back?Basically, ***** didnt listen during the walk-thru so the scope is off and it was expected we would somehow catch that and fix it on the contract. But one of us here is a pro that should know what needs to be ground based on the walk-thru and one of us is the customer that trusted them. So they can point to the contract and say its not in there, but its bad business. I was told that ***** would call me to get this fixed. Ive called/texted/emailed and nothing. All their excellent reviews and their ****** profile has since been deleted as well.Bottom line, were stuck with incomplete work and another company is going to charge a fortune because the project is much smaller. Getting a company youre paying $8,500 to grind one more ***** should be nominal. Getting a new one for just these stumps will be outrageous. At this point, I want them to finish the job or refund $2,000 of my money so I can get it done by someone else.

Paid the company $550 to trim an oak tree on Sept 18th. After a half-hazard tree trimming on the above date, the tree was dead by December of the same year. Three months after their service. They verified that the tree is dead and want to charge me $2950 to remove the tree that they killed.Tried communicating with them but I received a rather simplistic " it wasn't us that killed the tree".Had other arborist come and diagnose the tree and they both stated that too much canopy was taken from the tree. No lighting damage was visible on the tree.

We have decided to help out the client and remove the tree, there is no conclusive evidence on what killed the tree

5/15/2023 I hired J&J to remove 2 trees and paid them $2.025.00. They parked on the street and did a good job so I referred them to my neighbors. On 7/12/2023 J&J was hired by my next door neighbor to remove 4 trees. While they were here I inquired about trimming trees behind my home. I was given a quote of 1,000.00. When the crane operator advised me that the crane they had on hand would not reach behind my home I said I would call and make an appointment when their bigger crane would be available. I was in no hurry. The crane operator convinced me that he had special protective mats he could lay on my driveway that would prevent damage if he could just do the job while they were already here ....my house guest was asked to move her car and the J&J crew proceeded to lay mats on my driveway so they could park the crane on it. WITNESSES:Jon [J&J Rep], house guest ****** ******* my neighbors on both sides of me, and my roommate **** ******. AfterJ&J left, I noticed my driveway was Horrifically damaged. I called their office and spoke to Arianna who advised me someone would come out to check the damage. A week passed. No one came. I called their office again and was told once again that someone would be out and yet again, no one came. Instead I kept gettiing emails from J&J ********* demanding payment for my neighbors work they had done that day and saying nothing about the damage they did to my driveway. On 8/17/2023 I emailed Alexyss in my 3rd attempt to beg J&J to fix my driveway damage. After receiving a call from Jon at J&J I was happy he was actually being honest about remembering the conversation with the J&J crane operator that day and he would call me back once he spoke to his boss. Minutes later he called and said the boss "may be willing to help" & asked if I had pictures. I have many. On 8/31/2023 I sent a email [copy available] with BEFORE and AFTER PICS of my driveway and 3 quotes to repair their crane damage. Once again, I'm being ignored.

Hello, we will be investigating this claim, as our contracts state we are not responsible for driveways, or Sidewalks from Equipment.

Sept 30th of 2022 I contacted J&J Lawn and Tree Svcs and set up appt to get estimate and take a look at some tree limbs etc damaged from storm Ian. A representative from this company showed up approx 1100 hrs and discussed a few options, one quote $900 and $400 for smaller option. I did not sign any agreement and with a witness (****) and advised him to send me the quote and I'll give the office a call in few weeks if want done. Did receive email and talked with home owner (*******) and decided not now. Well, a few nights later between 1830-1845 hrs I seen 6 individuals in lime green shirts in that area working on area nearby. NOTE.....I am the utility and cable connection for this side of street and numerous utility workers been in/out hard to repair lines and cable since storm. Anthony did go out back and look and assumed for utilities. Well about 15 minutes go by and get call from a guy and says we need payment for job. I explained that I did not authorize or sign or call for completion of job. I was so upset and talked with **** to make sure I wasn't crazy and confirmed all listed above. Had a long conversation with Trinity on October 20 and in depth explained all and said would verify and contact me back. Well got another invoice from J&J.....payment due and penalties. I have had home renovations done, other tree trimming and fencing over the years and NOTHING like this basically trying to hold a person responsible for work that was not authorized or verified by myself or the owner. I did not agree or conversation with anyone at J&J and how dare they come onto property and did not call or knock on door or identify while on the property. And now they want payment?! It can go to court but I am not going to be responsible and will not pay this. NOTE: I am a disabled vet on oxygen and in home health status and not very mobile. Bottom line I feel taken advantage of and under the impression and assumed to move ahead without authority.
