F*** this company and everything it stands for. By far the poorest manged company ive ever dealt with. Been working for Mr ********************** since 2008 and I've only had my pay consistently demoted over the years, he treats his employees as.if they're sub contractors when they're w2 employees, makes his employees pay for all the gas, supply every tool at your own expense, deducts 2% (3-400/wk) to drive one of his trucks that supplies his advertisements, vehicle insurance, ********* comp and everything else to keep himself legal is taken from the installers pocket which is all done on a ******** spreadsheet before turned into the feds for taxes so they don't see what he is doing to his w2 employees...then to top it off after he feeds one installer all the bread and butter jobs that installer leaves him high and dry taking another employee with elsewhere he demotes the other remaining employees still remaining 2% on the same kind of jobs right after he left because he felt that person made to much and the others shouldn't make that, then to top it of again when I noticed I was making 2% less on the same jobs I've been making 20% is now 18% (with zero notice or aggrement) I start doing the math on they are paying only 13% on instead of 18% and try to say "oh it was the computer that made the mistake"....GTFOH computers don't make those kind of mistakes #installersbewaredontworkforhousmans #worstcompanyeverHousman's Aluminum & Screening, Inc.

This is a current disgruntled employee who has been living with his girlfriend and two kids at Mr. **********************'s home for over two years. This is an employee that has overdosed on company property twice and on a customers property once. Each time he was let go and then was allowed to return to employment when he "supposedly straightened up". Mr. ********************** has tried for 10 years to help this employee (he felt was a friend) beat his addiction and has finally had enough of the employee and has told him that he needs to leave his home for non payment, being disrespectful and not following the rules of the house. He had been told many times not to drink in Mr. **********************'s home however he continued to bring alcohol into the home. Everything he has written is out of anger. He has never been told that there is a computer error since the computer does not allocate the pay for the jobs. Every employee is given notices in their boxes of any changes that occur within the company. Since this employee never takes anything out of his box he would not know of any changes or why or when they occurred.Review fromPaula T

Worst company ever.
I've been working with them since November 2022.
I purchased a home that needed a new patio. I gave them a call because the local *** ******** manager recommended them.
I will admit that after hurricane Ian I did want to revise the size of my patio because of water being trapped inside.
I was working with a salesman...Jason who seem to have a problem returning phone calls so i started to talk to Robert ******* who eventually told me he could not help me and was told to stay out of my project. I still haven't figured that one out. Finally after much juggling schedules two men showed at my home to start demo ...at 10 am on a Friday...before noon they left for lunch and returned at 2 pm...during the morning several long smokes breaks from the foreman, the ******* owner called to get my payment which I already had made....he was totally clueless on what was going on. The red headed foreman was also very rude. I asked if a certain part was going to be removed and his reply was yes, when I'm good and ready.
Needless to say I cancelled my check and my contract...under protest from the office manager... Now I'm paying another $160 to have debris removed and the demo was never completed...They are keeping $2533 of my original deposit.... BEWARE...do not sign a contractHousman's Aluminum & Screening, Inc.

Ms. *******, while we appreciate your feed back there are a few items that I would like to clear up. You signed a contract on 11/17/2022 and were told at that time that we were 4-6 months out on builds and you were okay with that. On 03/10/2022 you called our office to cancel your project because you had injured your back and was having a hard time moving around, you were informed at that time that your deposit, per your contract, was non-refundable. We had your salesman give you a call and you said "no that it was not because of your back but that you were worried about drainage problems". You stated you wanted to reduce the size of your project and that you were on a strict and tight budget and did not want to have more money tacked on. Your salesman revised your contract, thereby reducing your costs and on 03/27/2023 you signed the revised contract. We sent in for revisions on the engineering and permitting as we had already completed and paid for these and you were informed of such. We gave you a tentative start date of 05/03/2023, which was within the 4-6 month time period your were given, pending weather or other delays. You were called and told that we would not be able to start on the 3rd because of the weather. On 05/04/2023 I contacted you and told you that the crew would be out 05/05/2023 to start your demo but that on Monday, May 8, 2023 they had to return to a previous commitment but would be back on your job on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 and you said that would be okay. On Monday, May 8, 2023 you called the office and stated that no one had told you they would not be there on that day and said you were putting a stop payment on a check that we had/have not received. The only protest from me, the Office Manager, was that we were not going to continue on your job without a start payment. I emailed you on that day and told you that all of our calls in this office are recorded and that I was the one who had contacted you and told you the schedule. You then said you wanted to cancel because of all of the problems. I explained to you that per your signed and initialed contract deposits are non-refundable, but that we were willing to return a portion of your deposit that had not been spent on permitting, engineering and other expenses related to your job. We were doing this as a courtesy to you. Only at that time did you complain about the crew leaving a mess and that the one installer was rude and not nice but the other one was. I apologized even though the crew, not knowing you were cancelling, were still in the process of taking down your old enclosure, they were not done. Still I immediately sent our Field Supervisor out to your property to clean up anything that was not done even though you cancelled your project. You did not pay anyone to remove the debris, we removed it. You even emailed me and thanked me and said he was a very nice man. I would hope that you would understand that we have paid expenses and ordered materials that cannot be used on any other job on your behalf, for the work that you contracted to have completed. I would not think that you would expect us to pay for your expenses. We have tried to work with you, accommodate you and have even gone above what is contractually required of us, however, we are having a difficult time seeing where the problems are with our company other than you did not like the one installer.Review fromBobby R.

From the initial salesman to the installation folks to the folks who answered the phone, Housman’s Aluminum was purposely vague in its description of the product, the work performed was sloppy and months late and the after installation customer service was nonexistent. I could not, in good conscience, recommend Housman’s Aluminum to anyone looking to enclose a Florida room with acrylic windows. I’m 66 years old and this is the worst vendor choice I’ve ever made in my lifetime.Housman's Aluminum & Screening, Inc.

Mr. ********,
You signed a contract with Housman's Aluminum & Screening, Inc. to install a back patio porch with Medium tinted acrylic sliders and dead lights which is what we installed. You were notified at the time of the estimate that these acrylic sliders are windbreaker windows and are a lower cost option to convert a porch into a semi dry room, not a dry room which would have cost you triple the amount you paid. We reviewed the text and phones messages you had with the salesman and this was your understanding prior to any installation based on the messages. You were also informed that delivery of custom orders was taking longer since COVID hit and we could not guarantee you an exact date for delivery of the windows but they were taking anywhere from 2 to 3 months. You signed on 11/11/2022 and on 02/22/2023 the installation was completed. After installation you said that everything was great except your door was not working properly. Our Field Supervisor came out immediately and fixed the door issue. When we called you for payment, you asked some questions that we answered in full. Then and only then did you state that it was your understanding that this was a water tight room and that the salesman misled you. You were provided all of the information up front and we delivered the product you contracted for us to provide. You have since said that you do not like the caulking. We have an open issue for our Field Supervisor, who fixed your door, to come back out as when he was there you did not mention anything about caulking or that the opening and closing of the windows was not explained to you. He will address your caulking issues and go over how to open and close the windows with you and any other questions you might have. We are very sorry that you feel like we were purposely vague in the description of the product, however your texts say otherwise. We have never and would never purposely sell products to customers that they do not want.
