I contracted with AutoStar on May 27, 2025, to transport a vehicle from ******** to **************. Immediately after placing the order, I received confirmation and a generic email update on May 28, stating that they were searching for a carrier. I received a similar generic update again on May 31.On May 29, I spoke with both **************** and the sales representative, who told me he was just waiting for driver confirmation and would call back within 11.5 hours. He never called back. I followed up by leaving a voicemail on June 2 requesting an update, but I never received a response.I spoke with **************** again on June 4, and was told they were "waiting on carriers to submit paperwork," yet they could not name any carrier they were in contact with. When I asked about a refund of my deposit, I was told the request would have to be reviewed. They refused to acknowledge that they were unable to fulfill the contract and instead insisted that I would need to cancel it myself in order to stop the ********** this point, it is clear that AutoStar is unable or unwilling to fulfill their end of the agreement. They have provided no real updates, have failed to return calls, and are now attempting to avoid responsibility for canceling the contract. This experience has been extremely frustrating and misleading I believe this to be a deceptive and predatory practice. I am requesting a full refund of my deposit and will be pursuing further action if this is not resolved promptly.
