They incorrectly pulled my information after I paid $100 and took hours to use their system to submit my info for a rental application. I disputed the score they pulled. First email I replied to did not go through, it was undeliverable m. I tried calling but you cannot reach a human being and the automated system is a brick wall. I have access to my credit scores and reports through the 3 main credit bureaus and FICO. I paid another $25 for this company to pull my credit score again which they did not do. They simply recycled the old report and resubmitted it to rental. When I emailed asking where the new report was they did not respond to my inquiry. They were quick to take my money though. They also cant tell you if it is a hard or soft inquiry, any legitimate business can in fact tell you whether the credit pull they are doing is hard or soft. They also claim they are pulling a score lenders pull for housing. I currently work for a lending company. What they are claiming is FALSE.Tenant Evaluation LLC

I hope this message finds you well. We wanted to provide you with an update regarding your application (******) and the credit check that was conducted on September 10th using the TransUnion FICO Score 4 algorithm, which is the industry standard for residential purposes.
It's important to note that when realtors or applicants check their own credit, they often use a different credit bureau and scoring algorithm, which can result in different credit scores. This discrepancy is entirely normal.
I understand that you initiated a dispute on September 15th, and our team replied back on September 18th informing you about the disputing credit procedure and informing you that we can not guarantee the score and re-running the credit may lower the score.
We apologize for any difficulty you experienced in reaching an agent via phone. Please be aware that due to our security policy, disputes can only be discussed in writing. Regrettably, we cannot be held responsible for any issues related to the deliverability of your email response, as it may be attributable to your email provider or other external factors.
We did successfully receive your response on September 22nd and replied on September 26th, confirming the receipt of your signed authorization form. Subsequently, we reopened your application to rerun the credit check, which took place on September 27th. Therefore, as our records indicate, any claims of using a recycled report are inaccurate, as the service was rerun and the score was obtained directly from the credit bureau.
I couldn't find any email inquiries about the new report in our support records. However, if you wish to obtain a copy of your final report, please go to www.tenantev.com, click on ''Sign in to your existing Account'', once logged in, click on the select button under "View or Resume my application(s)", click on the six-digit application number and on the top left corner, click on the three lines and Select ''View Report''.
Please note that our disclaimer indicates that if the community requires a Credit Report, it will be processed using either a Soft or Hard inquiry with the Equifax FICO Score 8 Algorithm or the TransUnion FICO 4 Algorithm. We would like to clarify that, in your case, the credit check was a soft pull.
It's important to understand that credit scores obtained from online websites like freecreditreports.com, CreditKarma, and CreditWise use different algorithms than the industry standard FICO score. These websites provide "consumer-based" reports, while lenders, such as those in the mortgage and auto industries, rely on the standard FICO score for their assessments. Lenders generally do not accept reports obtained through websites due to these algorithm differences.
Lastly, I want to clarify that we do not have the capability to change or edit the information reported in your credit report, as this data is directly sourced from the credit bureau. Should you require any adjustments or have further inquiries about your credit report, please contact TransUnion.

Have had issues with them, as I filled out all the information asked and then their property agreement created for me was incorrectly generated. Names were incorrectly placed through the document and other items were not selectable (I.e. the bubbles for the questions if I had been arrested, etc). Have dealt with their support the past 3 days with no progress. Oh and their service costs $300 which is absolutely insane for something that doesnt even work.Tenant Evaluation LLC

Terrible service, terrible website, terrible phone automated system.After taking wildly longer to submit the information than suggested, I needed to make one edit. After trying to make the edit on my own, and failing, I finally called. I was disconnected. I called again and was told by the automated system to go on-line to make edits. I went back to the website to try to edit the information. Unfortunately, the website does not allow edits....but it does not say that anywhere!!! I learned this on a follow-up phone call (that took a long time to speak with someone) that also took a great deal of time to edit one letter in an email address. What a complete waste of time. I followed their directions to learn that directions are completely wrong. Adding insult to injury, I paid extra to expedite the turnaround time to less than 24 hours. It took four days to learn from them that I missed one letter in an email address. The extra payment was a scam and when I asked to speak with management I was given the run around. I finally spoke with supervisor, **************, who made the situation worse by providing misinformation and having no empathy whatsoever. Horrible service.Paid $250 in application fees for an apartment, the deal then fell through because the landlord was making us uncomfortable.Tenant Evaluation refused to refund the fee due to "services already rendered" even though the application was never completed because they did not let us know what documents were required prior to payment. What services were rendered and to whom is a total mystery. If they are unable to issue a refund, I asked them to put me in touch with the *** who is operating the account and they refused. Good day,
Please note that Tenant Evaluation (TE) is a third-party
company, therefore we are not involved in approvals, denials or any outcome of
the rental/purchase application. All applicants must sign an authorization form
before any service is performed informing that this process is non-refundable, as
this will allow services to be rendered and to collect documentation once
signed. On 10/06/2022, ************************* and ************************* signed the authorization
form acknowledging that the process is non-refundable. Once the forms are signed,
services such as background, credit, and eviction automatically start running.
On 10/06/2022, Tenant Evaluation received the applicants documentation (such
as the photo ID and 2 pet photos) which were then reviewed and processed. On 10/14/2022,
the applicants cancelled their application. Before cancelling, the applicants are
given a warning message asking them to confirm cancellation, as well as informing
them that a refund cannot be processed since service(s) were rendered. ***** reached
out to our Support team on 10/14/22 through email, at which our team informed *****
that Tenant Evaluation has a non-refundable policy on all application fees that
offer services (such as a creditor criminal report). Tenant Evaluation never refused
the applicant information regarding the **** On 10/17/22, our Support team
provided the applicant the contact information for the *** and was given
instructions on how to receive their final report. Feel free to contact us at ********************************

1 star1- The application did not allow me to state the correct end of lease. The month way greyed out. I had to call and was told to send an email to the support team with the correct date 2-My wife uses a hyphenated last name. There is no option for this and I had to look for a marriage document. We had the same issue last year with and were told that they would look into getting this changed. Clearly not done
