    On 3/12/23, I had a maintenance service call and agreed to a maintenance agreement. It was just a small footnote on the invoice. There was nothing sent to me about this "maintenance agreement" nor mention I would be billed $91.47 annually. Reasonable business practices would have required the agreement to be sent to the customer. In addition, good business practices should have the company send out a notice that a customer's credit card would be billed - and most important, shouldn't any unconscionable fee for the use of a credit card be disclosed? Imagine my surprise when at 3AM, there was an email from AAA Garage advising me I was billed for this vague "maintenance agreement". The charge hit my credit card and I was billed. I had to make a very frantic calls yesterday and finally only $85 was refunded for this unauthorized charge (I gave no consent to have my credit card charged for this.) and the credit card fee was never disclosed. I am attaching emails from ********. I called the company just now and got a very rude woman who refused to gice her name and told me I could drive all the way to Miami (senior abuse because I am 78 years old) to pick up the check What I am asking for is the total amount of that unauthorized charge (they should have notified me in advance!) I am asking for a refund of $6.47.

    I would like to close this complaint. The owner of the company called me to apologize and wanted to make it right. He did credit me with the $6.47.

    I explained to him the reason I filed this complaint was because of a very rude and nasty employee.

    Is there any way you can close this complaint and delete it?

    Thank you.

    Contracted for them to replace the weather stripping around the garage door. They were a no call/no show for the first scheduled appointment. I called them, accepted their apology and rescheduled. Technician showed up for this second appointment one hour late - no call/no apology for that disrespect but of course the company had a good excuse - he didn't speak English. I paid, he left and then I found out the weather stripping on the top of both sides of the door didn't lay on the door but instead disappeared inside the garage making it worthless as a weather seal. I called, complained, and they promised to replace the disappearing seal. For this appointment, they showed up early and had the audacity to work on my property without my presence. So the seal was replaced but it looks sloppy at best. First technician caulked, second one told me I needed masonry work done and he wasn't going to and didn't caulk. He is correct that there is a section that needs stucco. So I am left to finish the job their sloppy work left me. This company has absolutely no respect for customers and no pride in their work. Use at your own peril. BTW, I found this company through ***************** which periodically arrives in the mail. Don't believe their survey results since I couldn't submit a survey. They would have to ask me to submit one. Slim chance of that happening.

    Good Afternoon ,**********;

    It's correct you requested to have the trim replaced we have sent a tech within our window time frame of arrival of 2 hours when he made it there he started working and replaced the trims for you and did caulking ,which isn't even under our scope of work it was done out of his heart ,that said he tried to explained that it would require more then just the trims to be replaced but he felt you were very aggressive toward him which he called the office , we asked him to finish with what you asked only which is the molding .

    We received another call from you requesting to rep[******* again aggressively talking bad about his english .We still sent another tech that speak perfect English Whom was received by you Partner at home then you arrived he as well was miss treated aggressively but under such pressure he replaced the molding again telling you that stucco is required for your door in the same time you still treated him with disrespect but surprisingly he was offer tip ,which he didn't take .at this point we see that it is unpleasant to deal with such way .

    Enjoy your holiday and best wishes

    I am rejecting this response because:
              Clearly you are unaware that I had a male visitor in the garage that first day your technician came out. That friend was there for the arrival and departure of your technician so let me reiterate this truth your technician was late and I received no call to notify me that he would be arriving late. To tell the world that a non-English speaking person explained anything to me is sad. I couldnt communicate with him (I tried when I asked him to remove all the old caulk) because he did not speak English. In truth he didnt even try to speak English. Clearly I wasnt worth the effort.
              You seem all concerned about how aggressive I was with everyone but you certainly have no receipts to back anything up. Your response just makes you sound angry. Accusing a senior citizen must be so empowering!
              Lets now talk about your second technician's visit. I returned home way before our scheduled appointment time to find him just about finished with the job. His first words were something about I had crooked walls in the garage and he had pictures to prove it! By the way, he sure sounded aggressive and threatening to me when he spoke of the pictures. Certainly, that meant that everything was my fault and my problem. I left the area and went in the house and came out later only at the request of my friend. With that second visit your technician told me I needed someone who did stucco work and he made it perfectly clear that he was refusing to do any caulking. His last words to me were something about how great the company reviews are. My last words to him after that statement were wait until you read mine. And with that I returned inside the house. Just to be clear as to how I feel about this second visit let me say this, you and your companys representative had no legal right to be on my property much less do any work without my presence or approval. I gave no such approval to anyone - including the nice person you happened to meet at the house. The best thing your man did that day was not accept that tip from the nice person he happened to meet on the road of life.
              Now let me talk for a minute about caulking. Talking about doing it out of the kindness of his heart is a dishonest statement. He met caulking when he arrived on the job so it is reasonable to expect that he should be required to replace it. You were paid to provide a weatherseal without caulk you have failed to do that. Every ant in South ******* must be rejoicing over your new definition of the word sealed. What you did was not only an ineffective seal it looks downright ugly! They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Why dont you post a picture of just how pitiful your completed job looks. Just call to arrange a picture taking time and promise to show up at that agreed upon time.
              Lastly let me say how disheartening your response to my complaint was. You never once mentioned even a modicum of concern about customer satisfaction. My complaint was about a lousy job. Your response was a personal attack.
              Happy Holidays to you too!

    Sincerely,
