    We applied to a house through Invitation Homes, a month and a half ago. We got approved by the owners right away (we provided all requested documentation as well as security deposit). We then were told that the *** would have to approve us. To provide criminal background and that we were going to be interviewed for approval. We informed them that the last day in our current lease was 12/4/22. It has taken a month for them to begin any process whatsoever, every time we call them they blame it on some sort of documentation from the owner, then on the *** fee, there has been a back and forth and no one solves anything. If they answer the phone (which is a miracle) then they hang up on you. We went to the physical office twice and there are only 2 people there who either dont know anything or just dont care and cant help us. We got kicked out of our apparent because the lease was up and they had rented to new tenants, we have been trying to talk to this people and try to have them do their job, and they simply do not care. At this point, we do not have a place to live, they still dont do their job and no one answers us. We were forced to pay 500$ for a moving truck, 100$ for storage, and they have our deposit which we have asked for in order to try to get another place, but they dont even answer. Whenever they do they tell us that the decision is on the board of directors and that they do not get paid so they cant be forced to work. It is inhumane to treat people like this only because you can. The holidays are coming and we dont even a a home for the holidays. Dont know what else to Do at this point.

    The customer submitted an incomplete application for approval by the Association. Her application took longer than expected because there was missing documentation. She was contacted several times and the owner of the home was also informed. The application instructions clearly state that a complete application received can take up to 15 business days. Nevertheless her application was denied by the association as her she did not meet the credit requirements.
