    Beaches ************* is definitely not worth the money you pay. Very run down. We paid for a concierge room and did not get what we were promised. Roaches in our room, toilets not flushing properly, no restock of mini bar. Ask for ice and was told to come down and get it ourselves at the front desk: Our travel agent has reached out weekly since May and still there is no resolve. We have filed a complaint with sandals and we never even received a response. Definitely will never book with ******* again!

    Ref: ********- My husband and I booked Sandals Emerald *** for my 50th in October. Due to personal reasons we needed to cancel the reservation and I had added insurance. On 9/6/22 I called and cancelled our reservation. The agent told me I would be refunded my deposit minus the insurance, a total of $3932 in **** business days. On 9/16/22 I call to check on my refund and was told that my reservation was still active and had not been cancelled. The agent told me I could not get my refund back. I asked for this to be escalated to a supervisor as this was unacceptable. He told me a couple times I most likely would not receive my refund however he did pass me on to a supervisor. She told me initially I could not get a refund. I reminded her that these calls are recorded and they would have to pull up the 1st call on 9/6/22 when I cancelled as their error was not going to be at my expense. After reviewing the notes in my reservation she said she did read where I called to cancel but for some reason the agent didn't cancel the reservation. She contacted accounting and was "escalating" this to process my refund of $3932. She told me it normally takes **** days but b/c this was "escalated" I would receive my refund by Monday and if I didn't see it by Monday to call back. She gave me her extension # and name. On Tuesday, 9/20/22 I call back b/c I still have not received my refund however the agent is "out to lunch". I was told that it was noted that this was escalated and I should receive my refund no later than Thursday, 9/22/22. On 9/22/22 I call back, again, b/c I still haven't received my refund. A different agent told me my refund was processed on 9/20/22 (ironically the day I called). I explained that my refund has not been refunded. She told me to call my bank. I called my bank and they explained this is up to each vendor. So, I call back Sandals and speak to another different agent b/c agent #1 is "unavailable". Still no refund as of 9/23/22.

    Our daughter got married at the Sandals Resort in ***********. I brought a brand new pair of sandals with me for the trip. I had never worn them before. They were stolen from our hotel room. I filed a complaint and filled out paperwork. They searched our room for the sandals but they were never found. They were stolen from one of the maids who cleaned our room. Sandals resort refused to reimburse the cost which was only $55. I will not be going back to a Sandals resort. Your belongings in your hotel room are not safe!!! Its not like you can put all of your belongings in the safe they provide.
