      I have been a Zoom Tan member for many years. Have never missed my membership payments. I attempted to cancel my membership June 6, 2023, due to losing over half my monthly income. I sent an email explaining my situation, asking them to please cancel my membership, they advised me they "could not" do that due to me having a balance. My previous bank card was canceled (fraud), so June 5, 2023, payment was unsuccessful for them. I was told to pay June, use the duration of my membership, THEN they would be happy to cancel my membership. It did not matter to them, in the least, that I did not have the money to pay it. That they were literally asking me to take food from my children's plates, and they advised me they would not cancel until I paid. Who does that to someone who has temporarily fallen on hard times? They only referred to their "terms and policies". Apparently, rules are not meant to be broken in the Zoom Tan world. I am a microscopic organism in an ocean of members, and they refuse to allow $40+ to be waived.

      ? BE SURE TO READ FULL REVIEW!!! So because I wrote reviews on Google regarding zoom Tan taking advantage of their customers, zoom Tan sent a text message to my phone this morning stating: "Good Morning Melissa, this is Zoom Tan. We have received your multiple reviews on Google and have decided to end our business relationship with you at this time. You were just billed on 6/14 for your membership which we will provide a full refund for and will be in your account within 3-5 business days. If you would like to reach out or respond, please email us. It appears zoom Tan is mad that I expressed myself on a review about how they take advantage of their customers. Zoom Tan will ban you from services the moment you give them a bad review and exercise your freedom of speech. Be careful not to leave bad reviews, they will retaliate. Zoom Tan brings in MILLIONS a year, yet continues to hike the pricing up on their loyal customers. This is such a hard time for so many right now with inflation on the rise, and zoom Tan just keeps sticking the broom up their customers rears. It's funny they do this, especially when they make out HUGE on customers that don't even use services all year, but pay for it, like myself. Another thing, they continue to raise the pricing, yet don't even want to accommodate their clients. The hours of 10AM-8PM are terrible. Little did zoom know, I was cancelling anyways lol planet fitness has a $25/month gym membership which includes tanning. I've been going for a week now and Tan is great, for half the price of zoom tan! Do yourselves a favor, cancel your memberships, stop being taken advantage of and go get a gym membership with taking from planet fitness, you'll thank me. Zoom Tan better take a long look at budweiser and realize how fast WE THE CUSTOMERS can make them sink! I'm a principals person and because of what they did today I will be on every platform warning people about zoom Tan

      Steals money from members credit cards and increases prices and fees at will with no notification to members. Won't let you cancel membership online unless you agree that all charges were correct when they were not. I hope the BBB helps get a class action suit against this criminal entity so that consumers who were ripped off can get some of their money back.

      Theyll bill you when you want to cancel. Place is trash and they are criminals. Plenty of other companies to go to. Stay away from Zoom

      I would leave 0 stars. I used to pay 9.99 then they raised it to 10.99 and I was ok with that increase. But to raise it to 42.99 after 10.99 that is 3 times more of the price. Ridiculous!!! Plus never got an information email or message or agreement that these are going to be the price increases. How do you steal money from people and do this?! I canceled my membership after a lot of trying and being on the phone. I am still waiting to get my refund and I'll never want to have anything to do with your company. I am sure you'll go out of business for the way you treat your customers. This was very unprofessional and greedy on your part ....

      The billing is dishonest and potentially criminal. The business will not give receipts on any purchase. The clerk sold me a 2-year spray tanning package at $658 and on the same day charged for a singular spray tan in which I was quoted $30 but charged me 35. The issue was upon my return to utilizing the purchase in which included 1 spray tan daily i was turned away stating i was not sold the correct package $ and needed to pay an additional $150 to receive a spray tan service further stating the package sold was for UV tanning. Despite clear and concise communication the clerks would not honor my purchase nor refund my money. I had to dispute via my bank which reversed the charges since Zoom tan would not govern their business appropriately.

      After being on a monthly auto-charge plan for 10.99 a month for about 15 years, Zoom Tan arbitrarily raised my monthly rate to 42.90 and charged me this with NO NOTICE of any kind of the change! I cancelled my account as soon as I saw this. (BTW, I have not even used the service recently.) I have disputed the transaction with my credit card company, as Zoom is clearly unwilling to be ethical about this. I can't imagine that they will not lose a lot of customers over this. They are money hungry and willing to be fully unethical in their practices.

      My membership went up without any warning, from $10.00 a month to $43.00!. Then they said I wouldn't get a refund even though I cancelled the membership right after they took the money out of my account for the next month. I would NEVER do business with Zoom Tan again and I advise others not to also. I hope the BBB takes action against this immoral company!

      Today ZOOM Tan increased my $19.99 monthly charge to $49.00 with no communication and then charged my bank account. Because I check my bank account daily, I saw this. I texted the company this morning to state that the agreement I have in place is that the company would never increase my monthly charge as along as all payments were paid on time, which they have been. ZOOM Tan texted back that because I opted out of advertising text messages, I was not able to be notified because they communicated the increase via text messaging. They stated that all of the stores are also advising customers. This also did not occur. ZOOM Tan then advised me to cancel on line, however when I went to do this, there is an agreement at the bottom of the CANCEL PAGE stating that upon clicking CANCEL MEMBERSHIP, I AGREE that all charges are accurate- and they list the unauthorized charge on 4-4-2023 for $49 as one of the charges, along with the prior $19.99 charges. I next texted them again and advised them that I believe this is a SCAM, and to cancel my account immediately. They have not responded. By the way, they stated that it is only because I have been a loyal member, that they kept the rate at $19.99. While I have no problem with businesses reasonably increasing their rates and communicating this fully and completely - well in advance - automatically increasing a rate by 100% and then blaming the "loyal" customer for opting out of advertising as the reason they could not communicate this to me, is sincerely representative of the lowest level of ethical business practice that I have seen in quite some time.
