  Slow work. People in the office never return calls. They promised house would be finished in 1 year. It has been almost 2 years and still not done. The office staff seems to be lazy. There has been many people building houses that are not done because of the lack of organization by construction staff. They are out of the office more than they are in. They have messed up contracts. They take your money and promise the world. They have to many fires going and lack of help. This company has really gone down hill. I would not recommend using them. Not because of quality, which is great, because of promised and contract not as promised. If you need to talk to someone, forget it. You can email and call and you will be lucky to et a response in a week. Horrible experience getting houses finished.

  This is not true, as we worked very hard to get this customer approved from two different banks.  Never charged them a price increase when they had issues with another bank.  We honor the pricing and have been trying to get everything done in a timely manner.  As for calling or emailing in the last two weeks, we did not have service or internet due to Hurricane *******  This claim from the customer is not fair and unjust, as we have done everything possible for them to get their home and not sell it as a spec while we waited for them to get approved from a bank.  In addition, we return phone calls if there is a message on the machine. Honestly, we are upset at this comment.

  I will agree, ***** and did everything she could to wait for bank approval and not sell as spec house. This was true. She pushed things through. I guess I should have been more specific. ***** has worked hard and is amazing to work with. Emails and phone calls are returned by others, but only after calling and emailing for over a week (from start to before hurricane). Contracts, not just ours, are said to be finished in a year but it's going on over 2 years. After speaking to several contractors, lack of communication and expediting different steps is slow. Wiring was messed up and changes not made that were given several times. We had to talk to contractors about it and they said they were never given instructions. We had to pay almost 2k for upgrads, to only find out certain things were included and we should not have paid extra, (fan lights and few other things.). Electrician said we're standard. So I want to correct what I first said since I was not specific. I'm frustrated we were told a year getting in to house, and it's now 2 years and still far from finished. Making plans to move then find out it's not going to be done for another year plus some, is costly for a family. The house choices, quality and price are amazing. Service is the issue. When contractors are mad at how slow things are getting done, there is a problem. I know things happen and can throw off deadlines, but 2 years and still not done is a problem. After speaking to other customers who has had same issues, others should be made aware. Don't plan on being in your home for over 2 years. We are hoping to now be in before 1st of the year, but realize that will not happen. I'm not trying to be ungrateful for what they have done. I'm frustrated, like others that houses are not done in a year as promised.
