      In March of 2024 I placed a deposit on a Golf Cart for $3000. I was told it would be in for delivery ***** days. I notified them September that it has taken to long please return my deposit. I have as of yet been able to get the deposit returned. I have spoken to Manager ***** numerous times, and he states it out of his hands, I need to speak to ******. ****** has been belligerent and curses at me and has stated he will not return my deposit. I have never received any golf cart or product for my deposit.

      I called Ocala Golf Cart to explain a problem I was having with my golf cart. They recommended I bring it in and said the diagnostic was free (their website confirmed this). When he called to tell me how much it would be to fix it (2/13/24) it was over $1200 and more than I could spend at the time, so I told him I would need to pick it up and hold off on repairs for now. He then sent me an invoice for over $300 for the diagnostic that he had already told me was free. I called immediately because I was not about to pay this when he had already told me it was free (he never said it was only free with paid service and I also never signed anything saying that). When speaking to him on the phone, I could tell he was angry with me but when I brought up that he said it was free and it also states it on the website he said, well I guess we have to honor it then. When I went to pick up the golf cart, nobody would look me in the eyes or say a word. They helped me load up my golf cart and that was that, or so I thought. I get a call today, 2.5 months later saying I have an outstanding invoice and threatening to send me to collections. The lady in the billing department was extremely rude, she transferred me to the shop. I asked for a manager and was told that a manager would call me back. They need to clear this invoice.

      On 8/12/23 Ocala Golf Carts did some work on our golf carts. I took 1 in to have the passenger side rear brake fixed as I didn't think *************************, where I bought the cart, was fixing it correctly. I was told, which the sales person now vehemently denies, they could fix the brake issue, replace the cables, and put in a 25mph speed sensor. That being done would allow me to drive the cart at 25mph and the braking system would work better. I was charged for parts that were not installed. I know this because I took my Star cart back to the dealer here. He took pictures of the parts that were supposed to be replaced. He, ******* the owner, showed me the pictures and said these are the original parts. They were never replaced. I contacted Star's technician about the replaced parts. He told me the part Ocala Golf said they replaced didn't happen because it was the original one still on the cart. The Star Technician also stated there is no such thing as a 25mph speed sensor for the Star Cart. Ocala Golf told me they used a Club Car part that fit the Star golf cart. Which, according to the Star technician, isn't true. I have spoken to 3 people at Ocala Golf Carts. 2 sales people, ***** and someone else, and the service manager. I told the service manager what I had found out and I wanted my money back. He said no. He said the paperwork reads the work was done so it was obviously done, even though I have statements from the Star Tech explaining that's not possible. I only discussed the speed sensor with the Star Tech. I discussed the brake issue with ************************* the owner of Sunshine State Carts. Immediately after my cart was fixed I took my wife's cart in to replace the 20mph sensor with a 25mph speed sensor so her brakes would work better and she wouldn't have a brake issue like I did. After all that was done is when I found out there's no such thing. I didn't move on it until Nov around the 15th. Out of country from 11/26-12/22. Can bring in **************

      To whom it may concern,

       Before any work was completed the customer was notified about the issues that were found and how much it would cost to repair. The customer agreed to the work and price, and therefore the work was completed. Ocala Golf Cart replaced a speed sensor and a wire harness. That's what the customer was charged for and paid for. The invoice for the work completed has been attached as well.

      I am rejecting this response because: the parts were never replaced. My communication with the Star Technician confirms my complaint. The pictures I have also confirm the parts were not replaced. Plus statements from others who have had the same issues I am having now. One of them came to you, BBB, the other to another cart shop who took pictures of the parts that were supposed to be replaced and weren't. Both of them received their money back. If this is the final statement from Ocala Golf my next step is legal action. Plus social media. 

       I have all the proof I need to show those parts were not replaced.

      I have other statements from disgruntled customers. I will attach them for your reading as long as they are not sent to Ocala Golf Carts, unless I have to. These statements are proof OCG does not tell the truth and doesn't do the work they say they do. 

      I believe i sent you something already stating this and there is a person who came to the BBB for issues with OCG and through you was awarded his money back.

      Please, move this along the best you can. These people are not truthful about the work they perform.

      Received a recall notice from EZ GO on 10/06/22 stating they have a problem with steering linkage and a arms, said do not drive until parts are replaced. Called my dealer on 10/10/22 and they stated they didn't have parts available yet. Since this date I have called and emailed about this problem to no avail. Since the letter states states do not drive, what am i to do? I paid $16,000 for a car I cant drive. I need a refund.
