We purchased an RV Extended Warranty through Eagle Vision RV and later sold our RV. We notified Eagle Vision and electronically signed the warranty cancellation documents on October 4, 2022.
The warranty issuer cancelled our contract on October 13 and stated that Eagle Vision RV would be issuing our refund check of $1081.46.
To date, 11 weeks after signing the cancellation documents and 10 weeks after the issuer cancelled the contract, we have not received the $1081.46 refund money from Eagle Vision RV.
Despite numerous emails to Eagle Vision RV over the last 6 weeks (since November 9), they keep responding that they will look into the issue but have yet to provide us with an explanation for the delay and they have done nothing to resolve this issue. Typical responses from Eagle Vision RV are:
November 10: Eagle Vision responded, “Good afternoon, I will look into this and get back to you.”
November 16: Eagle Vision responded, “Ok I will check and let you know.”
November 22: Eagle Vision responded, “Good morning, I have requested an update, I will let you know as soon as I receive it. Sorry for the delay.”
November 29: Eagle Vision responded, “i will check with my accountant and get back to you asap!”
December 8: Eagle Vision responded, “Hello, Laurel. We are going through refunds as we speak, I will have information for you by the end of the week.”
December 13: Eagle Vision responded, “I apologize for the delay. We moved locations and we still haven't received a check from them so I am going to track it down for you. Once i have an update i will email or call you to let you know”
December 13: Eagle Vision responded, “No more excuses sir . i am fixing this for you “
As of today, December 20, we still do not have the $1081 refund money, nor an estimate of when we can expect to receive it, and no explanation for the delay in receiving the check.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. Over the last 3 months I sent Eagle Vision RV numerous emails requesting that they send me the money the owed me. Finally I called the company that issued the RV warranty and they stated that they sent Eagle Vision RV my refund money over 3 months ago. The RV warranty company told me that they would make arrangements for me to receive my refund of over $1000 because Eagle Vision RV was obviously not going to give me my money. I am satisfied that I finally received my money but I AM NOT SATISFIED with the way I have been treated by Eagle Vision RV.

I had an RV warranty policy that I purchased back in 2020. I sold the RV and requested to cancel the policy on 7/26/2022. I was informed by ******* ***** that a refund check would be processed and mailed within 6-8 weeks. I contacted Eagle RV about the status of my refund on 9/23/22, I was told on 9/28/22 the check was going out with the next batch of checks. I followed up again on 10/11/22, 10/18/22, 10/22/22 and 10/25/22 requesting the status of the refund check. I heard nothing until 10/26/22 when I received an email saying I should have received my check, which of course I did not. I told ******* I did not receive the check, and I did not show any check ever having been delivered since I was daily checking my mailbox and the USPS Informed Delivery site. He said they would have to cancel the first check and reissue. I voiced my concern over having already waited 3 months and did not have to wait another 3 months. He said it would be a week and a half. Now it is almost a month later, and they are not responding to either my emails or the 3 phone calls I have left. This is totally unacceptable. I suggested they do a direct ACH deposit, since they withdrew my monthly payments through ACH. This policy was paid in full $4000.00 for a 5 year term. I have been waiting a total of 4 months for a refund that was promised in 6-8 weeks. The lack of response is unprofessional and unacceptable. The contract number was **** *********** and the cancellation was confirmed by Eagle Vision RV via email on 7/31/22. I do not believe a check was ever mailed the first time, I think it was a stall tactic. The fact that I can not get any response about the "second" check tells me I am right. I really need this money, and I do not appreciate the run around.Business Response

On approximately June 16, 2021, I, ***** ******, purchased an extended warranty from ***** ***** (Eagle Vision RV ). In Sept of 2022, I requested to cancel and have a refund. The contract was a 7 and the 1year of manufacture coverage. At the time of canceling, I had approximately 6years and 6 months of coverage remaining. I have made several attempts to request a refund. I have been told 30 days, 6-8 weeks, and I have not been pleased with this stressful situation. If necessary, all contracts from beginning to end are with DocuSign.

On 6/10/2022 we signed a Cancellation Agreement with Eagle Vision RV for the original agreement with them for an Extended Warrant for our Motorhome dated 11/4/22. They said they would be prorating our refund. We paid $4,000 down on 11/4/22 for the agreement price of $7,159. The full amount of the agreement was to be paid within 18 months. No other payments were made. We are requesting a refund of the balance from our $4,000 minus the 6 months we actually had the agreement. If you divide $7,159 by 18 you get $397.72 per month. If you multiply $397.72 x 6 you get $2,386.33. If you subtract $4000-2,386.33 you get $1,613.67. The balance of $1,613.67 is what we feel we should be reimbursed for.

I canceled my extended service policy with Headstart RV extended warranty. Called head start three weeks ago, I was told that they release money to Eagle vision RV. I’ve contacted eagle vision on multiple occasions never got a return call. Still waiting on my refund.Business Response
