Valor contacted me this morning. They were attempting to collect a debt from ******* Wireless for about $1,400 stemming from some erroneous charges ******* made while I was in the ***. The charges were for phone calls to my buyers agent and to my wife, both in the **, made through Wi-Fi calling, while I was on the hotel's Wi-Fi. According to the subscriber agreement, and confirmed by *******'s store employee, and right off their website, Wi-Fi calls are free. I worked with ******* for over a week to get them to correct their error, they refused, so after being a customer for 20+ years, I switched to ********* They sent the charges to a previous debt collector, I responded to that debt collector, and I never heard from that collection agency again. And now, it seems they've found another debt collection agency to try and collect on their mistake. To date, Valor has not bothered to send me a physical letter explaining the debt and breaking down the actual charges, nor to request a response. So Valor, here's the same offer I made to the previous collection agency. If you can do what ******* couldn't do after a week of back and forth with them and show me the proof that those calls were made via *******'s cellular service, and not via Wi-Fi. I'll pay the bill for the services used. I will not pay the "extra" charges you/they have incurred due to their own obstinance. It's been a year, but I've still got a pretty good idea what the actual numbers were. If you can't, I don't expect to hear from you guys ever again. And yes, I'm doing this publicly, so you can't make the claim that I never bothered to contact you. You expected me to know who you are and what the call was regarding, I expect the same from you regarding me posting this here..

I don't owe anyone any debts, never taken a loan, never used credit, if I can't afford something with raw cash I don't get that something, but these people send me text messages on a regular basis, to a personal phone which is only in existence in case a family member has an emergency, they are the only ones with that number, and the number has been used no-where in association to my name. This company is obviously a scam company trying to lie and cheat people out of their money. ***** and ignore, do not respond "STOP" as the text suggest, that just lets them know a real person is on that number so they can sell it. They, like most scam companies, don't even address the "client" (read: victim) by name in their messages, so everyone should immediately recognize it as a scam, but even if they do - scammers buy leaked databases and sell info all the time. Never trust anyone asking you for money they claim you owe to anyone via phone, nor give anyone any money to "process" or "ship" something you have "won", is "unclaimed", etc. Don't trust "refunds" where they "accidentally" give you "too much", the *** will never call you, ********* and amazon will never call you, and valor intelligent isn't handling your non existent "NTTA" account.

Won't stop sending Text messages. The new law that gives them permission to contact via text says that if you opt out, they aren't allowed to contact you through text or social media anymore. I have opted out 3 times, but they keep sending new texts from new numbers. I'm filing a complaint and suing them. This is illegal

I'm getting a ton of phishing texts claiming this company is handling collections for "your account with NTTA", which I don't have. I'm going to assume going forward that any contact from them is fraudulent.
