Do not use this company. I needed an AC repair. I paid $900 to have my AC fixed. It was a part that was under full warranty. The explanation from them made me believe that there was only a partial warranty on the piece of equipment but all $900 was for service. In total I paid $1,200. Then they tried to charge me almost $3,000 for another part under warranty. That got my attention and I told them to stop. I called the company who sold me the AC who explained that the parts were under a 100% warranty and that the labor performed should have been max $350. I will never use this company again nor should you. Oh, and I tried calling but sat on hold for a long time before I finally hung up.

Based on the good ****** reviews I arranged an appointment for an estimate to replace 2 outdoor Ring Spotlight cams. Mind you this is a replacement not an installation, a 1 hour job max. I could have done it myself (done it before) in that time but my wife did not want me up on a ladder. So they told me it would be $40 service charge if their price was not agreed. That seems the norm now days. The electrician assessed the job, had a good understanding of what was need and called the office. They told him to charge me $760 plus tax. Outrageous! I refused. Big mistake, later I learned Frank Gay sold this company and the new owner(s) apparently want to cash in on the good will he had earned over the years. I guess they were hoping I was desperate or ignorant and would agree to such price gouging. Not a good business model in my opinion and word of mouth is spreading.Frank Gay Services, LLC

This company you hear on the radio is a money pit scam. I found them to be like a car salesman scheme in Deland, FL. Was told the service fee was around 40.00 to come out, who wouldnt do that? Of course, once in the door my wife was scammed out of 688.00 to take out 4 bolts and change a shower cartridge filter, should have been 250.00... Will never recommend anyone to use them. If you are rich, you can get a Rolex at Frank Gay or if you are a normal class working person can get a Timex that works exactly the same at Target. What a rip off, call a small local company, please.Frank Gay Services, LLC

I hired Them the make my 3rd bathroom legal, a 3rd bathroom was added without permits.
I was told the whole house had to be repiped, and when they were finished I wouldn't have to do anything. I got a call from the finance company and was asked if I was satisfied with the work. I told then it isn't finished and I was told I wasn't to pay till it was done. The said the Gay company said it was done. At this point in time I don't have a plumbed sink and a 4 inch pipe capped where the toilet is supposed to be. The new toilet is still sitting in the box. The finance company said they will call back in two weeks, and I said ok!
I then called Frank Gay Services and talked to a woman and told here the job wasn't done and what needed to be done, and she said she would have the manager call me. That was a Wednesday and I waited till the fallowing Monday and called back. She again said she would have the manager call me. a week passed and I called again on Monday and she again said she will have manager call me... I think the finance company payed them and they are not coming back.
Also when they first came here they put on hospital booty's before they came in the house. But while here working took no precautions to keep my house some what clean..... In fact one of the bathroom doors was taken off the hinges and the other going into my bedroom was left open while the used a jackhammer on the cement sending cement dust in my bedroom kitchen and Livingroom. They didn't care at all about the dust and I am still vacuuming it up 3 weeks later. I haven't been in my bedroom since that day they jackhammered. I know all my TV's have this cement dust inside them and they will probably stop working soon. this Job cost me $24,000.
I have a lot more to say like they put outside faucet a 12 inches off the ground knowing I am disabled, and it will be difficult for me to use it.Frank Gay Services, LLC

I called to get a leaky shower faucet repaired. The service guy told me I needed a new pressure balance cartridge and if I wanted them to get the part and install it the price would be $575.00 or I could get the part myself and they would install it for $365.00. Wow! He told me I could order the part and get it for $54.00 and he gave me the website for it. This way would still cost me $419.00. When the service guy saw my hesitation he said let me see what I can do for you and went out to his truck. When he returned he told me I could order the part from the manufacturer and probably get it for free because it was still under warranty and if I had them install the price would now be $256.00. What kind of place charges $575.00 for a fifteen minute job to install a $54.00 part? And how did we suddenly get to more then half the original asking price?Frank Gay Services, LLC

I paid 400.00 for them to add 3 pounds of 410A to my condensing unit. I checked and the average price is 260.00. I've heard they are high priced. After my experience with them I have to agree.Frank Gay Services, LLC

Had a water line break coming from our meter to the house. My wife called and they said that they couldn't come out until my wife gave them her credit/debit card number. What kind of company does this? My wife being desperate gave them her card number and they said they had a guy finishing a job in Oviedo and would be there in an hour or so. Three hours later my wife gets a call from Frank Gay and was told that their plumber wouldn't be able to come. My wife was furious and told them don't worry about and to cancel. Well, Frank Gay went ahead and billed my wife $129 for what, scheduling an appointment? This is deemed fraud. My wife contacted them and demanded to be reimbursed and they said it would take 7-10 business days. Such bullshit, it takes you a matter of minutes to take the money, but it takes you that long to give it back. Don't waste your time with these frauds. We called Rinaldi Plumbing and they came out right away at 10PM at night and fixed the leaking pipe. We are still waiting to be reimbursed.Frank Gay Services, LLC

We had a leaking toilet at the base, a wax seal replacement job that averages $125-$150. Frank Gay services came out and wanted$475 and we had to pay the guy $40 to leave our house. This company is fleecing the older population in the villages. Do not use Frank Gay!!!!!!Frank Gay Services, LLC

I called Frank Gay when my breaker panel was in need of repair. They told me that I needed a new panel @ the cost of $5 K. I told them to go ahead and fix the problem. Time after time, they missed appointments. They had sold me a family plan for $200 as well. They told me that the breaker panel needed to be inspected and that I would get a notification for Tuesday, November 8. A notification never came. I called them 3 times to find out if there is a time st up and I was told that they had already done the inspection!! Which is impossible because I never let any inspectors in. Then after another call they admitted that the inspection is not done. I was told to wait for someone to get back to me ..... This is the 3 rd time that I am wasting a whole day on these people.Frank Gay Services, LLC
