      The only reason I'm putting 2 stars is because they were very responsive. I needed my outside spigot replaced. The 1st technician that came out used about 8 pieces of different sized PVC and then attached the spigot part at the end of it. The whole thing protruded from the wall about 2 inches and could be rotated 360 degrees. I called customer service and they sent out a 2nd technician to "fix" the problem. He wrapped the PVC pieces in insulation and screwed a spigot to the wall. On top of now having to find another plumber to fix what they did, I'm also out $430! To say I'm disappointed is a HUGE understatement.

      I am happy to report that this issue has been resolved. Apparently there was some sort of miscommunication on what the expectation of the repair was supposed to be. However, I was contacted immediately after posting this and everyone at Frank Gay worked diligently to correct the problem. Thank you.

      This company is a joke..The unscrupulous business activity that is allowed to go will be reported to authorities…
      we were given an estimate of three times as much as other professional skilled companies..almost ten grand to replace an electrical panel…sold a maintenance plan that we cannot use..cancelled before 72 hours as was told we would have to pay 50.00..to cancel
      Given an estimate on replacing ac duct 14,000. yes, you read that correctly…
      plumber came out and says he doesn’t unclog drains…and we will have to call to make another appointment for drain and hot water heater..
      Frank Gay.. you ought to be ashamed of yourself…and you need to stop the lies with those commercials..

      You are better off taking a lighter and setting your cash on fire instead of using these guys. At least the fire will look cool. Frank Gay is a company full of incompetency from top to bottom. If you are somehow stuck using them, make sure you get a 2nd opinion on all things AC-related. They will need to come to your house 3-4x before finally getting something right. Can't even do a simple follow-up inspection without making a critical error. Seriously, there are dozens of better options in FL - DO NOT USE.

      I had an experience like others here. I bought a new gas stove to replace an electric one. Lowes would not install it since there was no valve in place on the gas line behind the stove. I called Frank Gay plumbing to connect the stove. Big mistake. When the plumber arrived he went into a big sales pitch for a membership covering HVAC, plumbing and electrical and would allow him to discount the stove hook up. Told him only wanted the stove hooked up. I could tell from his pitch that he was going to say the stove would cost many hundreds of dollars. I told him if it was going to cost many hundreds, I would pay his $39 trip fee and he could be on his way. He called his supervisor and then told me he was authorized to give me a discount and job would only be $450. I sent him on his way and decided to do it myself. It took only about 30 minutes including turning off the gas and re-lighting the water heater pilot when the job was done. I've talked to many neighbors about this and a couple of sales people at Lowes and they all say Frank Gay Plumbing is quickly getting a well deserved reputation as rip off artists.

      Scammers. Don't use this company. They vame to do a routine maintenance visit. The tech tried ro sell me a new unit. Tild me it was going to blow up if I didn't. Asked about my mortgage payment and social security number etc. Was super creeper out by him. He was supposed to flush the lines and check the system. After he left the house got hot.
      Something felt off. We have never had an issue with the unit in 7 years. So I called for a 2nd opinion from a local company. They came out and said I needed a capacitor replaced and the coil cleaned. Cost around $550. The house was cool within 2 hours and problem appears solved. I called FG on Tuesday around noon to report the problems I had. The service was performed Monday evening. It is now Saturday morning and no email. No voice-mails. No supervisor has reached out to me yet. They asked me to send the invoice from the company that fixed my issue. I sent them what they asked for and it had been daily excuses why the supervisor can't pick up a phone or return a call. I verified they have the right number and have reached out to them daily regarding these matters. Obviously they are wither avoiding me or way too busy to take care of their customers effectively. No apology. Nothing. Just a girl that keeps passing on messages to a ghost supervisor that doesn't seem to want to hear my concerns. Don't deal with these scammers !!! They took my $$$ They provided no decent service. They are Scammers. Frauds. Rude and incompetent

      Frank Gay came after hours on a Friday in March to repair a broken outside faucet possibly damaged by Supreme Painting. Did stop the leak and patched the wall outside after having to cut the bathroom drywall inside to get to the leak. After the repair, the faucet eventually protruded outside the wall approximately 18 inches extending from the PVC pipe.

      In April, Frank Gay was kind enough to send a gentleman to patch the interior wall and a 2nd to attempt to correct the protruding outside faucet. The interior patch is not smooth allegedly due to the "wetness" of the wall a month later. The faucet repair is sturdy and aesthetically better, but every time you use the faucet you have to change your clothes as you get SOAKED by using the faucet. Either Frank Gay offers a FREE SHOWER with their $2400 faucet repair or you will have to use a garden hose forever after having a Frank Gay repair. Everyone is very nice but for $2400, the problem should NO LONGER be a problem after TWO TRIES and inconveniencing the customer the 2nd time to ATTEMPT to correct their previous failed repair. Want to inconvenience the customer and come out a 3rd time. Evokes that thought, "How many Frank Gay Plumbers does it take.....to achieve some task?" When asked what the customer wanted my answer was simply "What does Frank Gay offer when they don't possess the ability to complete the job correctly, properly, and timely?" What reasonable remedy should be offered after failing fully twice? The customer gave them an ample opportunity and time to allow for the proper completion of the job. Almost a battle of attrition as to how much punishment should you be subjected to for hiring Frank Gay Plumbing?

      They were suppose to be replacing my complete sewer/ pipes from cast iron to pvc.I had three employees to come at 11 and left at 2 or shortly after considering their work day was completed this job started 3/16/23 and as of 5/3/23 ,the job is still not completed, inside floors are not completed properly, the porch and walk way is not completed, all the old material taken from our home such as old rusted cast iron pipes, buckets of cement, damage sod, that was unnecessarily destroyed due to failure to obtain the knowledge of pipes location. Employees who are no longer affiliated with the company made a disaster of our home who should still be held accountable because they were employed by Frank Gay. As of today we are still deprived of being able to resolve issues of everything that was contracted (complete removal of cast iron pipes,failure to accurately locate pipes to be replaced requiring excessive digging, incomplete work on porch and walk way,master toilet have not been reinstall, accumulated trash from replacement parts including cement and sod) to be done. Very disappointed that their still in business, referring to their advertising of guaranteed satisfaction, complete professional work. They have the unmitigated gall to call themselves experts.

      I feel we are 2 Seniors scammed into upgrades that were never needed. Our A/C needed to be upgraded to 150 amp. The box was already grounded but the tech said his grounding would be better( not knowing it would cost us $900+). Then he changed out the breakers that never needed changing. ($2000+) that we never knew about added to our bill. I feel we shouldn't have to pay for these upgrades that were never needed. I honestly thought the tech was just being nice to do these extra things not knowing it was costing an extra $3000.

      I called only for the yearly maintenance, when I received a card as a reminder. Was told the unit needed to be replaced and now they happen to have the unit. I paid $19,960 and $146 for the yearly I have no clue for what.
      They installed a new unit that was so loud that it sounded like a hurricane inside the house. They came to "fix it" over 10 times and were not able to. First, they did not want to exchange the unit. Later I found out, they took it upon themselves to disable stage 2, so that it does not sound so bad. Only when it gets too hot (and we are in FL), the unit starts to blow only hot air. Getting readings of 81 degrees in the house when it is not even summer. Now they claim would be willing to exchange it for the right size, If they did not know how to get the right size to start off with, what makes them trustworthy to get it right now or not intentionally damage my house so they get more money.
      I want the unit to be removed and reimburse me all of my money so I can go to someone that knows how to install an AC.
      They took advantage of a single over 60 year old woman.
      BBB has done nothing. Who are you really working for? I guided myself by your rating.
      How could you give them an A- instead of an F. (Yes, I am aware that is not your score, but that is what they deserve). I spent over $20,000 and have no reliable AC.

      First it took them over 10 visits to accept that they might exchange the unit. Now, Frank Gay Services admitting that they need to change the AC, (in writing) but they will not do so unless I sign a customer satisfaction agreement BEFORE the work is done. I thought I've attached the agreement they want me to sign, and the e-mail trail. But I don't see them attached. I am not good with computers. If you provide an e-mail, I will send it again.
      Since when you sign a satisfaction PRIOR to me being satisfied. This has been going on since 1-26-23. PLEASE Help me. How would you feel if you pay $20K and they make the mistake and say Oh, well. By the way sign that you are satisfied.

      Very disappointed with this company they asked for a credit card number up front because of a weekend service call that I requested and when the work was finished the amount was much more than the hrly. Quoted price and after calling at least least 7 or 8 times and pleading for some one to call back I still have not heard from anyone!! Terrible business practices!!
