      Terrible experience. We had to take 2 separate shuttles to get to the office for pick up from the *****************. We waited in line for over an hour to pick up our car. When we got to the desk they said they would charge us additional for insurance if we did not provide them with our insurance card. I provided my insurance card to them so that we would not be charged. We paid in full then after we returned the car we saw additional charges that they are now claiming is for insurance???

      This place is a complete scam. I had a printed out confirmation and was charged three times the amount. When I questioned the agent at the counter about this, she was extremely annoyed. After returning the car two days early because of a family emergency, I was not refunded the two days and was charged even more fees. I only did this because I thought it was a better deal than renting at the airport but I see why this company is no longer at the airport. If you were thinking of renting from advantage, I would advise against it. Rent from a more reputable company. The list of complaints I could go on and on but will take too much time. Just don't run from this place.

      Very poorly run rental car company. Unprofessional staff at the *********/ ************************ location.Ghost charges added to rental pricing upon vehicle pickup.Advantage took 2 weeks to release deposit hold to my bank account.Consumer BEWARE.

      The clarity of the website for booking is apparent. The website allowed me to book a rental past booking hours. I booked with Advantage rental with the site stating they are located in the airport and they arent, I walked around all around airport I noticed the sticker is scratched off of the signs at the airport. I then contacted the chat person Abdelrhman and he gave me multiple wrong phone numbers to call and then they charged a $130 cancellation fee which cost more than the call rental. The business practice is very poor. Please save your time and dont rent from this business.

      I rented a car with Advantage and got an estimate of $204 per week, but paid $323-discounted from $568 after I drove back to their office to remove the charges. I was asked several questions. Fast pass for $9/day? no they said I could not drive on any highways. Road side assistance? no you will be left stranded on the road should you break down. And do you have an advidavite of insurance. I offered my insurance card which was rejected as insufficient. They said that I agreed to have one available for them when I rented the car. I said, Show me. The agent said he could not. He then said until I could produce the document that I would have to step aside. I succumbed to the extortion and said I will take the insurance. I later contacted my insurance agent who provided my Policy Document. Advantage told me I had to drive the 2 hours back to the same location to provide my document which they still claimed was insufficient to cover the new car. The new agent was now an insurance expert! I got my insurance company on the phone to explain, but they argued. Finally, convinced I asked for the manager to remove the charges. She then informed me that my insurance was not sufficient to cover the cost of their car. Explaining that we just went through that, I had the other agent explain again that he had already talked to my insurance. She refused to remove the charges. I ended up paying for services I initially refused. This agency is clearly trying to confuse people in order to take advantage of them. Take Advantage Rental Cars clearly feels they know better than you or your agent as to how to read a policy document!

      Priceline set up the rental at $238 dollars for rental at advantage car rental. Their phone message said they had black Mercedes vehicle that pick you up at the car rental place. It was not the truth. It was a beat up caravan. Then when we got there. Gave us a problem about our car insurance not cover rent a car. We rent from other car rental places and never had this problem. When we return the car and got to ******. There were all kind of fees tacked on and make it double the Priceline gave us. Please save yourself the trouble and headaches from this very bad car rental place is advantage car rental in *****

      I rented a car with Advantage through Priceline in ******* **. My total rental was ******. When I got to the counter, they told me I had to pay a mandatory extra ***** a day for their insurance when my own insurance covered their car. Then I had to pay an extra 9 dollar a day for toll tag which I had brought my Sun pass with me. They told me they blocked the windshield so my sun pass wouldn't work. So, my total then came to ******. When I complained they handed me back my credit card and driver's license and cancelled my reservation. Told me to go back to the airport to get a rental. They are a joke and scam. Steer clear for your own sanity.

      Tried charging me triple the amount agreed upon when I picked up the rental. Total scam. Told me he had a ***** down the street that would come pick me up and t as me me to his rental establishment

      The price is not clear when you make a reservation, my amount would be $264.00 but when I went to pay it was more than $700 and they added $150, they charged me a bunch of fees that are not specified when you make the reservation. Ridiculous, I was very nervous. Would not recommend.

      Advantage car rental is a total scam please be careful. They offer a low rental price but then when you get to the counter to get the car they hit you up for a toll package and a roadside assistance. It's not voluntary it's mandatory otherwise they'll tell you to go back to the airport and cancel the reservation. They have been doing this all along ripping people off.
