      I am writing to express my concerns regarding a recent experience my daughter had with Barmasters Mobile Bartending for her wedding scheduled on September 27, 2024.On September 16, 2024, she sent an email to notify them of the cancellation. However, they informed her that she would incur a cancellation fee because she did not provide 10 days' notice. This is concerning, as she sent the cancellation email more than 10 days in advance. She paid a total of $850 for the event, including a deposit and the balance. Now, they are stating that since she paid in full, she is not entitled to any refund and that her total payment, not just a deposit, will only be kept as a credit on file, which they claim will expire after a year.We were surprised to learn about this cancellation fee, as it was not included in any paperwork she received and the text message only stated deposits were non-refundable. The company is now referring to a clause on their website that all money is non-refundable, which feels deceptive and unfair as you would have to know which link to click to even see this clause. If she had known that cancellation would result in the loss of her entire payment, she would not have paid in full.Clear communication about cancellation fees is essential and should have been in paperwork not just a link shared later after cancellation. We believe it is important for customers to be fully informed about these policies upfront.

      We engaged *********'s Mobile Bartending for two professional bartenders to serve at our fundraising event on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 6-10 p.m. We were told the bartenders would arrive by/at 4:30 p.m. to set up for the event (stated as ***** minutes before the event in the contract). One of the two bartenders did not show up until after 6:00 p.m. which was when the event started. The other bartender, while on time, brought her boyfriend to the event with her (this was a ticketed event and he did not have a ticket nor was he accounted for in our catering numbers). Further, the bartender and her boyfriend were seen on the dance floor during the event. We notified *********'s CEO ***** of our dissatisfaction but he disregarded our request for resolution in any amount. We paid $450 for this service. There was also a dispute related to how tips were collected and disbursed (relevant due to this being a fundraiser) which ***** was also unwilling to resolve. We were advised that they (*********'s) would take legal action against us for defamation if we "continued" to post about them on social media. We did not nor have we ever posted anything at all about their less than stellar service.

      Bar Masters were contracted to bartend and have waitress service on June 8, 2024for a 4 hour graduation party. They canceled one hour before the party and per contract promised to refund on the same day of the party. They submitted refund the following day and was not very responsive through the whole ordeal which caused much financial stress, delay and frustration for the party. I have reached out to this company to compensate me for the inconvenience and additional fees incurred by their abandonment of the contract to the amount of $300 but the owner and company representatives have stopped answering me. This appears to be a pattern with this company as I will provide an screenshot in the attachments and I hope nobody will have to experience this for the next event.

      Client *************************** hired our company to provide 1 bartender and 1 server for her event on 6/8/24 in the amount of $595. The staff that we contracted to work her event (weeks prior) reached out to us 1 hour prior to event arrival time stating that their car broke down en route and they would not be able to make it to the event on time. At this time we texted ******* immediately informing her of the issue that was happening with the staff, and that we would be working diligently to find replacement staff, and that if we were unsuccessful a full refund would be issued (see screenshot). Due to the short window of time between us being made aware of the staffs transportation issue and her event start time, we were unable to find replacements. At this time we reached out to ******* again informing her of such, and let her know that we would be issuing a full refund. There were 2 payments made to us by *******, a deposit payment via PayPal in the amount of $178.50 and a balance payment in the amount of $432.95 paid via credit card. We were immediately able to locate *******'s deposit payment using her full name "***************************" and issued the refund same day (Saturday 6/8/24 - see screenshot). We were unable to locate the balance payment using her full name "***************************" in our system, and by this time it was in the middle of her event; we did not want to text her and disturb her, so we waited until 10am the following day (Sunday June 9th) to text and ask her what the full name on the card used to pay the balance was (see screenshot), which she replied "***************************". At this time we located the balance payment in the amount of $432.95 in our system under the name "***************************" and initiated the refund immediately back to that credit card, at 10:13am on Sunday June 9th (see screenshot). A full 100% refund was returned back to ***************** within 16 hours of her event.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      the refund was initiated on June 9, 2024 instead of June 8, 2024 as mentioned in their BBB response or their contract. Bar Masters was very unprofessional in handling the matter and even with their tone and demeanor after trying to settle the dispute after the major inconvenience. Based on numerous reviews I have fear that they will continue to run out these same practices with other consumers and I fear that this may occur on a larger scales. I would like resolve this matter professionally and amicably as possible without having to escalate further by means of being compensated for the inconvenience as stated prior.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      This business did lot abuse by the contract of refunding on day of the event and caused significant disruption to my finial and logistics situation for an important event at the last minute. I have serious concerns about this business pattern of canceling or no showing on the day of event as evidenced in multiple business reviews just this month of June 2024 and it is gravely concerning that consumers are sharing credit card information while knowing this business will not actually show up for their event. This business owes me payment for the financial and logistical delay and disruption of my event for not sending my refund on the day of the event.

      On June 6th 2023, I received a quote for bartender services for 9/2/23. I immediately paid the deposit ($124.50). On 8/31, I paid the remainder ($301.97) after receiving another confirmation that services would be provided on 9/2 as requested. Our event happened and no one showed. Dylan, the owner, continuously said should have been there but he could not get ahold of them. Finally, he agreed to a 100% refund. I have yet to receive this and every time I reach out he says it will be 1-2 days. We just want the money we paid for the services we never received.

      We booked bar masters a year in advance and payed them a $500 deposit, our wedding was in February and they did not show up due to being "sick." Dylan, the owner, agreed to refund our money back. However that has not happened. We've messaged and called multiple times and Dylan keeps saying he will send us the money and never does. Now he doesn't answer our texts or calls

      The business attempted to provide a bartending service. When that was not done properly or even close to what they advertise, the owner guaranteed me a refund. He has since ghosted me and actually declined my refund request. I have a long list of examples of the bartenders actions i can further provide (do not have enough characters). I am highly convinced that the bartenders were actually illiterate. My time and money was extremely wasted by this terrible experience. The lack of vetting vendors is appalling. I contacted Dylan immediately the next day and explained all of the issues we faced and he responded letting me know he would give a 50% refund. I then reiterated to him that a 100% refund is the only thing that would suffice. He then agreed to the 100% refund and then immediately ghosted me and never responded. I even ***** requested him to make it as easy as possible. This company deserves to be shutdown completely. I cannot even imagine if they were hired for a wedding… the day would be completely ruined. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company.
