      There was 200 dollars taken from my bank account 6 months after i rented the car. Ive attempted to contact the business several times for an explanation and they do not answer calls or emails and i deserve an explanation.

      On July 5, 2024 I rented a car with damage from RJ Car Rental. The agreed upon price was $695, but the horrible man behind the counter charged me $805 instead. When I asked to speak to his manager, he said he was the manager. When I asked who I could write a complaint letter to, he said to send it to himself. I put down a $200 deposit, as well, which they kept. My 12 year old grandson spilled sand in the car at *************, they charged a $75 cleaning fee. I parked the car at the airport parking lot, per their request, and took a full video of the car. On July 16th they charged $125 for two dings in the bumper, which are not in my video. Basically, they never planned on returning my $200 deposit. They are the most unscrupulous car rental agency that I have ever dealt with. I'm 66 years old and have travelled extensively and have NEVER been put in this situation until now! They owe me $305 for over charging me and for keeping my deposit based on lies. They should not be allowed to be in business! Thank you for any assistance which you may be able to help me with this terrible situation. Sincerely, ************************

      We originally started our Orlando **** with Fox rental car. But without having a credit card, we couldnt so our rep at Fox called his friend who had his dad pick us up which was sketchy and unusual. They agreed on a price and the rep at fox told us it would be the same price at the new place. We just wanted to get to our hotel so we went along with it. We get the car and it messed up quite a bit with the battery dying 3 times and then not answering their phones to help. My husband and I are non-smokers but when we got the car, it smelled like someone sprayed a bunch of deodorizer to mask the smoke smell. I ensured he knew that it smelled like smoke so I wouldnt get charged. And he was confident that no one had smoked in the car. After our difficult **** with a car that kept having issues, we returned the car. The next day, I get a weird text saying we smoked in the car and we will be charged the extra $200. I have disputed these charges with my bank. If my bank cannot help, I expect something to be done about this somehow. They avoid my number as I tried calling from another number and they answer quickly but hang up when they hear it is me. I just wanted this resolved.

      I was attempting to rent a vehicle from RJ, and they denied me due to a miscommunication on their end. We never signed the rental agreement and never received a refund or the car we got completely scammed. They made us wait outside for about 20m with no one serving us and then didnt even speak English. They scammed us. Their excuse was theres no refunds however we never received the car

      On March 10, 2023, I rented a car at RJ Car Rental. I signed an agreement that if the car was brought back in less than perfect condition, my card would be charged $200 cleaning fee. I read the fine print and it stated that the rate to clean was $60 an hour. They assured me that in most cases the charge never goes through. This was on top of a falsehood that the state of Florida requires you to take their insurance despite what coverage you already have. I accepted that ‘lie’ but verbalized my discontent after I got home from my trip. They took the $200 off my card at first, but then put it back on when I wrote them a bad review! The car was returned in pristine shape, tank full…only a few grains of sand from the beach were in the trunk!!!! They don’t answer any phone calls or texts. I disputed this with my credit card company but it seems I lost that dispute. I am very upset at the injustice and scamming this business does. Ultimately I would like my $200 refunded (as it SHOULD be) and the BBB to take action against this fraudulent company. Thank you.

      So on January 13th 2023 I was on a business trip to Orlando Florida and Rented a vehicle from RJCar Rental.
      There was poor communication on Rental agreement about insurance and billing procedures. Rj decided to charge my credit card without conferring with me.about damage on vehicle so I could place a claim to fix damage. Saw that my card was negative $1000 which I did not authorize. They also won't return any of my phone calls so we can speak on any of above. They even went as far as telling my insurance company they only spoke Spanish and wasn't till today that they finally answered my insurance companies phone call(1/23/23). I totally understand I signed a contract and really can't dispute what happen to the vehicle and I know for a fact I didn't do said damage. What really upsets me is charging my card and nit giving me the opportunity to straightened out with my perso al insurance. I now had to file a dispute,shut my card off pay fees for being negative and they still haven't returned my calls.
