    AC guy came out yesterday 7 Aug 2023 to get information off the AC motor to send to Old Republic Home warrenty because of the noise it makes. AC unit was installed on 12 July 2023. AC was working fine when he came, but not working at all when he left. Called for him to come back and fix what he had broken but he never came back. Notified the office this morning 8 Aug as to what happened and they said that they would send someone out to fix the problem. Well it is 12:30 93 degrees and know one has showed up yet. Please have them take care of the problem.

    Good Morning,

    We are doing all we can to assist Ms **** on this matter as soon as possible, but there are constraints beyond our control since she has a home warranty and we have to work within the bounds and contractual obligations of Ms. ****'s home warranty agreements.  

    Tammy ****'s unit is a gas furnace and air conditioning type of unit which is composed of three major parts.  The Gas Furnace, the Condenser (outside unit) and cased coils.  She had cooling issues earlier this year, and through her home warranty, Old Republic Home Protection, we replaced the condenser and cased coils, but not the gas furnace. The gas furnace is from 1987 but due to the conditions of home warranty contract, they did not replace this component of the system as it was not broken at the time. 

    Since this replacement was completed the blower motor which in the old furnace has stopped working.  We have recommended the home warranty to replace the furnace, but they have decided they will only replace the broken blower motor. We received the approval to replace only the blower motor late yesterday afternoon and we have already placed the order with a local vendor.  Unfortunately, due to the age of her furnace, the parts are not readily available and will be here next week.

    We understand it is very hot and there is a degree of desperation from anyone with a broken AC at this time, but as you can see, we are doing all we can to assist Ms. **** within the constraints that are out of our control, such as parts availability and her contractual agreements with a home warranty.

    Emerald Coast Air Conditioning and Heating was given a service call of our DOWN NOT WORKING Air Conditioning system on April 4, 2023 through First American Home Warranty. Emerald Coast Air Conditioning and Heating showed up on April 7, 2023 to troubleshoot the system. The Tech changed out the thermostat which allowed the system to show power at the thermostat which was blank prior to the call. The system had power but wouldn't turn on the compressor outside. The tech then called the owner and was told that it was the low voltage line going to the outside unit and to reschedule the call when they could get 2 techs out to run new cable. I emailed their office to let them know the cable wasn't even tested so how can they know it was bad? First American authorized the replacement of the cable and another service call was authorized. After 2 weeks of the Airconditioning system not working they finally showed back up and realized the circuit board was bad and created another authorized service call for a later date through First American Home Warranty. It has been 4 weeks and the air conditioning system isn't working!!!! Also if you call the company you get an answering service that has to forward your concern to the company and hope that they get back to you. After 3 calls to the answering service in the past 3 weeks I have yet to get a call from the company!!!

    This company has not answered the phone since being directed by my home warranty to fix my ac. We have been without ac in a heat wave for over 16 days from the actions of this company. They have twiddled their thumbs in sending the home warranty the issue that needs repair.
