We checked in 7-14-24 and check out was supposed to be 7-20-24 but the room was horribly dirty everything rusty. We tried getting our money back but staff is zero help. We ended up having to spend more money and staying somewhere else. Beware of a scam. This hotel looks absolutely NOTHING like they portray on ads. No kitchen in the rooms everything is crammed into each other and the furniture and everything in the rooms are very badly stained and rusty. The balcony is barely bigger than a full sized mattress just a little longer. The staff is non existent and can’t explain to you why the advertisements lied. They just kept apologizing saying they knew the pictures were lies and it’s not their fault and this is the best they have. AND you have to pay for ice $6+ .And to top it off as soon as we cut the lights off roaches came from EVERY. Weren’t even scared of us. To much money was paid for this trash hotel. Wish I didn’t have to give any stars. Pictures included of bugs but couldn’t really upload due to space . I paid for a 2 bedroom with stove and accessories as well as washer dryer on property. I received none of that.
I would like my money back.Business Response

Seahaven Beach Hotel
15285 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413
July 3rd 2024- July 5th 2024.
Room was incredibly filthy upon check in. Air filters looked as if they’ve never been changed causing breathing issues for spouse and I. There were roaches smashed on the wall. Significant amount of mold on walls causing further health concerns. Found bed bugs in room, upon seeing other consumer reviews, it looks like they’ve had a bed bug problem for years and have done nothing about it. Did not look at reviews on google until after the bed bugs were found to our regret. We were only refunded a partial amount. Seeking full refund.Business Response

I reserved 3 rooms for a week at this hotel through ***** on 6/6/24. After reviewing pictures from reviews and health department issues with this hotel I called ***** on 6/7/24 less than 12 hours later to cancel reservation due to health concerns for my family with the mold, roaches, and bed bugs I was then charged $3,500 and told I would only receive 3% back. I have tried to contact the hotel directly at least 15 times and as of today 7/01/24 contacted ***** 3 times for a refund. I would not take my entire family to this hotel after seeing true pictures of the rooms and reading several complaints of bugs and safety issues. I told them of my concerns and that I was not just canceling for no reason and I wanted a FULL refund that shouldn’t have been charged to begin with. No one from the hotel will answer and ***** keeps telling me give it 48 hours.Business Response

Mrs. ****** did not actually stay at the hotel. Mrs ****** no showed on 3 reservations. Mrs ****** used a 3rd party reservation system to make the reservations. We have advised her on numerous occasions to contact ***** for a refund.Customer Answer

I have never spoken to the hotel directly. I haven’t ever gotten through to them. I go though ***** since that was the booking agency. ***** tells me it is the hotel that would be responsible and now according to the hotel’s response, it is up to *****. I have attached what my account shows as of today.
I feel like they are just tossing the blame as to who is responsible. I want my refund.

The guest needs to contact *****. The hotel has not charged them. ***** has their money not the hotel. Nothing I can do about that.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
Between the hotel and ***** they keep passing the blame. The hotel was of a health and safety concern for my family. There were 10 of us including children. . It isn’t my change of plans that caused this.
Sincerely,

Me and my husband stayed at the Seahaven from June 5th-June 8th 2024, we were charged the amount for the hotel plus $50 deposit for damages (that’s fine) but then we wake up the next morning to see $180 taken out of our account. We tell the manager who was working, he was telling me that there has been a few people who have had money taken from THEIR card company. So we walk out, as soon as we leave the front desk $387 was taken out. I immediately locked my card, went into tell them about it. They said they’d refund it. They refunded the $180 but have yet to refund us the $387. This basically put our vacation on a kind of pause because this money we had put back for it. I called ***** ***** and they said they’ve gotten several calls from people staying there. I’m not sure what they’re doing or if it was just a simple mistake, but why wasn’t the $387 deposited back at the same time as the $180 when they put the refund in for both at the same time?? I did NOT pay for an extra night, we stayed the time we were supposed to.Business Response

I had a reservation for a Monday and Tuesday stay at this hotel. I started calling the Friday before to cancel and there was no answer. I sent 5 emails over the weekend, and called at least 4-5 times a day to cancel my reservation. They never would answer the phone. Then on Monday I receive a one line email with no signature stating my reservation was not cancelled. I was charged the full amount of 2 nights on my credit card. When I replied asking why it wasn't cancelled, I get another 1 line email stating "You still was in your 72 hours no matter what". Still no signature line, name or anything. I finally get another number to call and was told I would receive a refund. Still no refund ever received. Very unprofessional. I should receive both nights credit, or at least the second night credit since I received the email prior to the second night stay.Business Response
