On September 15 2022 I paid PROCLEAN $833.10(using credit card & $1695.06 using a check issued form Insurance company"s bank). On November 3 2022 I received a call from PROCLEAN saying that the check could not be processed since the Insurance company( FEDNET) was placed in Receiver ship on September 27 2022. I received a past due bill from PROCLEAN on November 4 2022 for $1595.06 but I have an INVOICE( 273027) stating that I owe $0.00.

On August 15, Mr ****** paid a $2,428.17 down payment for our contract to perform repair services. That work was performed. On September 15, Mr ****** called in a Credit Card payment of $833.10. The $1,595.06 check that was brought in on September 15 was returned to Mr ****** by us that same day because it had his mortgage company listed on the check and we needed their endorsement in order to deposit the check. Mr ****** brought the endorsed check back to us on Oct 6. At that point we took payment and gave him a paid-in-full, $0.00 balance invoice because that $1,595.06 check settled our outstanding balance owed. However, on October 12th, we received a letter from ******* Bank (attached) stating that the $1,595.06 check we received and deposited had been returned by the payer bank and was no longer viable. At that point, Mr ******'s $1,595.06 payment to us was no longer valid, leaving him with renewed balance owed of $1,595.06 (this invoice is attached). After a few days of trying to get resolution with Mr ******'s insurance company, FedNat, we reached out to Mr ****** directly and he told us he had heard from FedNat and that they were now in receivership. As an independent party, we tried our best to get answers but ultimately had to turn everything over to Mr ******, as the insured, to let him pursue the remaining insurance payment. When we reached out to Mr ****** shortly after that for an update he hung up on Kim, our representative for Accounts Receivable. Once we didn't hear anything from him for a few weeks we sent a "30 Days Past Due" letter on November 3rd. That was the last correspondence we had until the BBB notification of a complaint. In summary, Mr ****** still has an outstanding balance of $1,595.06 for services rendered which he is responsible for whether his insurance company ultimately pays him or not. If there is confusion because of an old invalid invoice showing a $0.00 balance, we will be more than happy to resend him an updated invoice if the attached copy doesn't suffice.
