    We hired Pro Clean to help us with an issue at our newly purchased home; high subfloor humidity levels were causing our wood floors to buckle (3-4 inches tall in some areas!) We got several bids but went with Pro Clean as they seemed knowledgeable about the cause, solution, and said they could have it done in a month. We figured it was worth the hefty price tag because the floors would be fixed "right". The solution had 2 parts: a clean up phase and a construction phase where new insulation & vapor barrier would be installed to seal up the floor reducing the moisture/humidity that would come through and cause the floors to swell & buckle. Phase 1 of the project went without a hitch and was done within 2 weeks of signing the contract. Phase 2 was supposed to start 1 week later and take 3 days. This is where the pain began. . . it took 3 mths. & 20 days to get Pro Clean to complete the job! There was always a reason why they didn't meet their deadline (rain, falls, death, etc.). It felt like they forgot about our project until we would email them again and they would rally. We were so happy to have the project finally done and decided to install new beautiful hardwood floors on top of the original floors. We spent thousands of dollars getting these new floors installed and then summer came and the FLOORS BUCKLED again! To make a very long painful story short, we have had two different contractors come and inspect the underneath of the house and it was discovered that Pro Clean only did half of the job! They didn't touch half of the underside of the house! And the part they did was beyond shoddy; there was not sealing out the moisture. We contacted Pro Clean, they sent someone out and nothing has happened. We didn't even get a report of their visit. We contacted them again and haven't heard a word. Paid in full; half job done. We hope others can learn from our terrible Pro Clean experience and spend their hard earned dollars with another company that can be trusted.

    Cleaning is great, but the rebuild, yes they do that too. It is lacking, to say the least. Waiting on a two week job to be finished since the end of April. They only lack trim and still can't get that done plus inspection. Use the cleaning part but avoid the rebuild! Nothing is custom made like they say, it's ordered just like they do every where else!
