    Worst company we have ever dealt with! It was recently sold to new owners! They installed my water heater and my HVAC system. We have lived here for 13 years and have never had issues with Contractors other than Joe Cool Home Services. We just had our entire HVAC system removed including all duct work. Our new company said they have never seen a worse HVAC installation than was done by Joe Cool Services. They found ducts not connected to vents and just lying in the attic. They found ducts kinked over roof trusses with no air flow. Improperly wired & installed 4 zone control board, 2-dampers not working and 2- wired backwards. The new owners refused to come and look at the hot water heater they installed two years ago that is now leaking even though it has an 8- year parts & labor warranty. If you are smart you will stay away from Joe Cool Services! All of our other neighbors that had them FIRED them as well! Please note all the (one star) reviews were since April of 2024 with the "NEW OWNERS" Very sad!!

    Over two years ago, we spent over $15,000 on Joe Cool's Plumbing for a complete pipe installation, and a drain pump. Now, the pump has started rising from the ground, creating both an eyesore and a safety hazard. Despite this being their installation error, they refuse to fix it unless we pay an additional $3,800.

    HORRIBLE. We had them out for new duct work under our mobile home, Before them our place stayed at temp, 1 year old heat pump/AC. After the ductwork was installed, and many thousands of dollars later, we kept calling them out. We got their 12 month service call thing and the operator told us they had been out too many times. It was never fixed,EVER. We were broke, ran up our credit cards and couldn't continue trying to get it fixed, we had to live with it. This spring, it was 94 in here. I typed that right 9-4. We have been getting sick the entire year, many Urgent Care visits, and it now seems it was some type of mold we were inhaling. NOT ONE tech could do anything, but charge us more. We tried to get Service Manager out, but were told, by the operator, we couldn't. HORRIBLE business. DO NOT RECOMMEND

    I reached out to Joe Cool after I received marketing about a $59 service to come out and take a look at my system for some preventative maintenance. I called and made the appt and the first available date they had was 1.5 months out. I agreed as my system was working. The day the appt was supposed to happen they called me around noon and said that the forecast says its going to rain after 5pm so they pushed my appointment to the following Tuesday. (it never rained) On the new appt day I called at noon to verify my appt and they said they would keep me posted throughout the day of the arrival time. Come 5:30pm I hadn't heard anything and called back to which they told me my appt was changed to Friday. After some more back and forth I made an appt for Saturday, a week later. They came first thing in the morning and checked my system and let me know that it wasn't running at full capacity and recommended some fixes. The cheapest option was $764. I agreed to it assuming that the maintenance was already done. They didn't check to see that I actually had a 10 year warranty, they did not clean the system, all they did was look at it and tell me what was wrong. 24 hours later the system was no longer cooling (on a Sunday.) They told me they couldn't get anyone out until Monday evening. I said that is not acceptable as I have dogs that can't be in a hot house all day. I am now 1 week post this "maintenance" where I had to have another company come out to fix the system on a Sunday evening. Joe Cool is now denying that the system stopped cooling and said there is no "proof" because the paperwork from the "other company" doesn't state that it wasn't cooling, essentially calling me a liar. I have had over 10 conversations with this company about these issues. They do NOT stand behind their work, as stated on their website, and now are calling me a liar and refuse to refund a portion of my money and offered me a "credit" to a future service. Unacceptable.

    I had a water heater leak 1/2023 and called Joe cool. The heater was under warranty and the tech and I swapped it out at home depot for a new one and i paid the difference in price of heater. The tech replaced the heater for 1200. April 1st I find the water heater leaking and the same way it was when we replaced the last one. I called Joe cool and they sent a tech out the same night. He came in and laughed. Stated that it shouldn't be like this, it needs and expansion tank,and said it wasn't up to code.He was unwilling to take it to home depot. Said that It would cost the same price for another installation of 1200 or 2400 if I.bought a heater from them. I told him no and I don't trust your company, please leave. A manager called in the morning trying to "make it right." They offered to fix it. Their way of fixing it woukd be to leave the same now rusted tank there, throw in an expansion tank, and do the installation for 850. By that time I had allready called another company for an estimate. They came in and said the same thing. Laughed, said this shouldn't be like this , especially after only 2 months, that its not up to code, they should have pulled a permit, and an expansion tank is required with new water heater installations for it to be up to code. So, the installation was done improperly, they tried to charge me AGAIN 900 to 1200 for their mistakes, and blatantly lied. Please watch out, do your research, learn about what is needed and what is being done and read and look for ALL reviews. Now I'm out 3500, my time, two companies time, trust broken, for work that could have been done right the first time for a reasonable amount of money and time.

    Yes, we installed a customer supplied water heater a bit over a year ago.  At the time we first visited the customer, we recommended the expansion tank and other items required to meet building code.  The customer refused the estimate and chose to go with a basic swap out of the old to her new heater.  *****, she seems to have forgotten the part of the discussion where we recommended the expansion tank and other necessary components.  To help refresh her memory, I have pasted the text from that estimate below.  If we offer a solution and the customer refuses our proposal, I can't be responsible for the lesser alternative not being as functional. We do our best to give customers what they want and what they need but if they refuse our recommendations, how is it that we are the diabolical actors?

    **** took the time to really explain everything in full detail and educated my husband and I on the full process. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. The installation manager was very attentive to his crew and the crew did such a fantastic job! It was a great experience. The whole entire team was fabulous!! I highly recommend this company!! They exceeded our expectations!!!

    ***********'s respond time was excellent. I needed a repair quickly. The company made sure I had a working a/c and came out the next day. The 2 technicians were friendly, efficient, informative and did my repair with the least trouble and expense for me. Highly recommend!

    I am part of ***********'s *************** and love the service they provide. Today ******* came out and did our yearly plumbing inspection. She was very knowledgeable and professional. I take comfort knowing they are there to help prevent major issues. The program is well worth it and ******* was GREAT!
