Went on Saturday 9/10/2022 to the Casselberry store looking for a couch that matches with one that I buy from them a year ago, same store. They showed me new options and I ask for the most similar one but they showed me a hole set. They agree to sell only the loveseat to me and the price was $1,200 with a free patio rug I ask for a discount and the manager agree to low the price as $1,100 and we will take the display couch. We will pick up the couch Tuesday and they agree to wait. Tuesday my husband went to get the couch and was wrap in a bag. By the time my husband is bringing the couch inside of our house potato chips fell of the couch, theres dog hair all over and theres somebodys behind tattoo in the couch. I call the store and the Manager ******* answer and couldnt help me because will need to be the same manager that was working that day but she specified that at the receipt says: no money or exchange! And that the couch was on clearance!!! When I review my receipt they charge me $900 for the couch and 3 patio rugs that I didnt ask for $69.99 dollars each! When I specifically told them I didnt need the patio rug that was FREE. I call corporation that same Tuesday 9/13/2022 and the lady that answer document everything and told me that a manager will call between ***** hours. That didnt happen. I call again today this other lady name * told me that if I want a new couch I will need to pay the full price which is $1,800 so I told her: so you recognize that you guys give a better price because was used? So you guys sell something without telling the costumers the true? She said you paid a clearance item I said no! I didnt assign the price, you guys did and is not my fault that you guys scammed me. I was ok getting the display one but nobody mention that was used!! She said that corporation will not do anything and the store will need to make a decision! We have reviewed our customers comments regarding her dissatisfaction with the As Is triple power console loveseat purchased with our company. As confirmed by our customer the purchased item was displayed/located in the clearance area of our store. The regular retail price for the triple power console loveseat purchased new is $1799.99. The as is clearance loveseat was already reduced in price. As stated by ************** both parties agreed to the price of $1,100 plus tax which also included two area rugs and a rug pad. Under the terms of sale merchandise sold as is will not be eligible for exchange, allowance refund, or service. All merchandise as is is sold without any express or implied warranties of any type, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In the effort to provide assistance Kanes Furniture has extended the offer to take back the loveseat for in store credit. Regrettably, our offer has been declined.R. O.

The clearance area was a Labor Day clearance area at right side of the building. The loveseat was in a different area and it was a hole set. The price was $3,500 but because I was asking for just want the manager agreed to sale that one at $1,200 and you guys told me that there was a free patio rug with it that I didnt want but you guys did anyways. I ask if there was a chance of a better price and the manager agree with $*****. When I look at my receipt at home I notice that the couch was charged at $900 and there was a charge for 3 rugs $70 each. You guys are supposed to specified $1,800 brand new or ***** USED! One thing is to buy the display and another different to pay that amount for a used one dirty, full of hair and someones head and buts frame! We are sincerely sorry that our level of service fell short and did not meet this expectation. Management has spoken with our customer and the two parties have come to an agreement. I wish I could post a picture of the TV console we purchased that was delivered today. The description said "distressed" but the same series of nail holes (the size of the palm of my hand) repeated 15 times makes it look damaged, not distressed. Customer service won't let me return it even though this was a full-price purchase. I know now that purchases are non-returnable. Expensive lesson learned. Never again shopping Kane's. It's not the store it used to be.Kane's Furniture

Management has spoken with Ms. ****** and explained that intentional distressing is part of the cottage furniture design. In the effort to provide some assistance a service inspection has been scheduled. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to assist.

The same pattern of nail holes, the size of my palm, repeated 15 times on an otherwise perfect piece of furniture doesn't make it look "distressed". It looks damaged. All I wanted to do was return this piece of furniture that I bought at full price, not "as is" or clearance. I wasn't allowed to do that. I know now that Kane's is non-returnable even though that isn't stated. Lesson learned and won't buy from Kane's again.Review fromSharon S

Misrepresentation of furniture delivery which is still being displayed on the floor for sale! I purchased and paid for my furniture on or about 4/3/2022 and was told it would the expected delivery date would be the 30th of April. It did not arrive by that date, I've called several times for the past 4 months and every time I was given another EXPECTANCY that was not meet, while the furniture is STILL on display for SALE!!! Today is 8/16/2022 and I just received the sofa and tables the end of July? And was given another EXPECTANCY of the end of this month for delivery while the furniture group is still on display at the store, that's "FALSE ADVERTISING"! I want my money back with interest, I would really like the money I spent to coordinate my living room in an EXPECTANCY of the furniture I chose from their advertisement of the FLOOR DISPLAY of the furniture! As I look at other and multiple complaints I really wonder how customers are being deceived with an A+ rating for this business?Kane's Furniture

We acknowledge our customers frustration and would like to extend our most sincere apologies. The anticipated arrival dates shared with our customers is provided by our vendors. Regrettably, back order dates are continuously being extended by the manufacturers. These delays are largely related to supply shortages and shipping of goods that have been prevalent since the onset of the pandemic. We are sincerely sorry that we were unable to deliver the back ordered loveseat in the original timeframe estimated. We purchased furniture from this store less than 12 mos ago. When the side and arm of a living room chair started to separate, I called for a service technician to come out. I was told it was under the original 12 month mfg warranty. After no follow up from the tech visit I called and was informed there is nothing they can do and the separation is from normal ware and tear. There is no wear on the chair, it's obviously a poorly built product Kane's is selling. I will never purchase anything from them again.Kane's Furniture

Kane's Furniture warrants to the original purchaser at the original delivery site that the merchandise to be free from defects in workmanship, under normal use and conditions for a period of one year from the date of delivery. A service inspection was performed and confirmed that the reported damage is not related to a defect in workmanship or construction of the product. What could have been a 5 is barely a 2. Customer service is not good. Purchased a leather couch and love seat in August of 2021. I purchased the warranty-which by the way-covers nothing so I could get the leather care kit. You cannot purchase it without the extra warranty. The arm of my couch is wearing away. It is the only one of 4 arms, yet "corporate" says it is not a defect. Hmmm..why only one arm. The said they would replace it with a cover with complimentary labor, but I would have to purchase that piece. It will take them a couple of days to get me a price and then will take 16...yes...16 weeks to get it. The tech that came out said he had never seen anything like that. I asked for someone else to look at it. Guess what, only one technician exists. I swore I would never purchase anything from Kane's again, but I thought 15 years later, they would have gotten better. Nope. There are more than 500 bad reviews. I had to write this just because I am so angry. I expect nothing because that is their business practice. The photo shows the issue.oh and by the way, there are 4 products in the kit..one took off the color. DO NOT USE. You can see that on the right side where there is another spot going to rip.Kane's Furniture

Kane's Furniture warrants to the original purchaser at the original delivery site that the merchandise to be free from defects in workmanship, under normal use and conditions for a period of one year from the date of delivery. A service inspection was performed and confirmed that the damage to the color coating of the leather appears to be related to use, and not as a defect in workmanship or construction of the product.
Management has been in contact with our customer regarding some possible options of assistance.

I stand by my statements, this is not from use or the other 3 arms would be the same. Also, the technician stated he has never seen that before, which says a lot to me. Additionally, the leather kit cleaners and conditioners (which they "give" you after buying an additional warranty) were the cause of discoloration. I stopped using when I saw that happening. The arm also had a small tear which according to warranty IS covered.
Corporate has reached out and I will reserve additional comments until I see how this will be resolved.
