    You are forced to provide a 10% deposit to them to bid on a home, this is required to simply bid on the home. In my case, $12,500. If you do not win the bid you request a refund and it is processed and returned. I made my request on June 10, 2025, which requires some navigation of the site. June 13 I received an email informing me that my request was "Rejected". Reason "Unable to Process". I called and was informed that there are issues with their site and all of **********, PA was rejected. 7 days later, June 20, I'm informed the issue is resolved and we have to submit for a refund request again. Same result, Rejected. Now no one is returning calls, They initially indicated the issue was Washington County and the ****************** says they have nothing to do with the website they contracted. The website shows ****************** is holding citizen's funds. So, who has our money, is it still there, and why is it not being returned? I am seeking the return of my deposit plus interest accrued during this time.

    On June 2, 2025, we had experienced an issue with the Washington, ** auction site which precluded Mr. ******** from logging onto the site.  Our IT department was alerted, a resolution was determined, and the reported problem was corrected.  Mr. ******** was contacted and did confirm he was able to log into the site.  As a result of this issue, there were 7 users, Mr. ******** being one of them, who had previously submitted a request for the return of funds on account had those requests denied.  Consequently, a new request had to be submitted.    

    As part of the security measures we have in place to mitigate fraud or any suspicious activity, all refunds processed are returned to the accounts from which the originating deposits came from.  ***************** submitted his new request, he didn't provide the bank information that matched the account information from his originating deposit, so our ****************** did not process the request.  I'm sure he was frustrated to hear that this second attempt was not successful, so he submitted it again with the same incorrect information which again did not process.  We advised him it was due to the bank information provided was incorrect.  He was provided by our staff the last 4 digits of the account from the originating deposit however he advised that was not correct.  We encouraged him to contact his bank because that was the account from the sending bank that his deposit had come from. He subsequently did and he realized that he had not been providing the correct bank information, so he submitted another request with the correct information. We immediately advised our ****************** to please process this most recent request **** which they were prepared to do until we received a call from Mr. ******** that he changed his mind and didn't want the funds returned since he was now planning to participate in the next auction.  

    Throughout this whole process we were in communication with Mr. *************** He did thank us for our professionalism and appreciated our concern for having a securitized process in the handling of the funds.

    On 5-8-24 I requested a refund for the account balance of $27,500 via mailed check (the only refund option) It has been 2 months and I have not received the funds. I need an immediate refund check mailed express with a tracking number. I have sent several emails called several times. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone at any given time.

    Realauction.com is an online auction company that host online auctions for the government entities.  In regards to this case, Realauction.com host online auctions on behalf of Broward County Clerk of Courts.  Realauction.com does not receive funds for the Broward County Clerk of Court auctions.  All funds for the Broward County Clerk of Court auctions are sent directly to Broward County Clerk of Courts.  Our records indicate that this refund was approved by Broward County Clerk of Courts on 05/24/2024.  This individual needs to contact Broward County Clerk of Courts ***************************************** Phone Number: ************ and speak to them directly about the refund check.   We ask that you please remove this complaint from our account as this matter is between Broward County Clerk of Courts and the individual that filed the complaint.

    - On May 20, 2024, I requested a refund in the amount of $16,950 for my escrow account on ********************** -I informed RealAuction that the account that was used to transfer the fund was no longer active so I needed them to issue a check instead of a wire.-They agreed to issue a check but they issued a handwritten check to a 3rd party that I am not affiliated with.-I told them that I am unable to cash the check and all they said was that they could not do anything about it.-As of today, June 14, 2024, my refund money has not been received even though they issued a check because I am unable to cash the check.-Please review the email exchange and check that was issued to me.-I paid $40 for a *** label only to receive a worthless check.

    "If the refund is by check, the check will only be made payable to the name found on the wire transfer of the original deposit."  

    On 06/01/2023 Realauction received a wire deposit from ********** ***************  The originator of the wire was QTC HOLDING CORP QUEST TRUST FTCO.  A copy of the original wire deposit has been attached to this response for your convenience.  Please look at line number 4 where it says Originator.  That is the section on the wire deposit that tells you who initiated the wire.  

    On 05/20/2024 the Texas online auction participant requested a refund of the leftover deposit money.
     
    On 05/21/2024 Realauction approved the refund request as a Wire Return however the online auction participant contacted our office and requested that we send a Paper Check instead of Wire Return.
     
    On 05/24/2024 Realauction wrote check number 6581 made payable to QTC HOLDING CORP QUEST TRUST FTCO.  We made the check payable to QTC HOLDING CORP QUEST TRUST FTCO because that is the name of the account holder that made the original wire deposit. 

    On 06/24/2024 check number 6581 was cashed and the funds cleared the Texas online auction bank account. A copy of the front and back of the cashed check number 6581 has been attached to this response for your convenience.

    After a month of waiting, several trips to the bank, the bank threatened to close my account for fraud and colla with ******************** I was able to cash the check. Please close this case. Thank you for your help. Realauction.com was a nightmare to work with and I will never work with them again.

    I gave $5,000 for a deposit to bid on a house. I requested a refund and have not received the refund. I have tried multiple time sto call and speak with someone and emailed customer service and no one is responding

    All participants of the auction must click OK to the policies related to the auction prior to being able to participate in any of the auctions.

    On 09/07/2023 *********************** initiated a wire deposit transaction in the amount of ***** in order to participate in the Cuyahoga ** auction sale. 

    On 11/02/2023 @ 3:51 pm she requested a refund in the amount of *****.

    On 11/13/2023 @ 11:37 am Realauction approved the check refund request and issued a ***** check **** refund made payable to ***********************.  The refund envelope was mailed to ********************************************************************************************************* Postal Service.

    Check number **** has yet to be cashed and has also not been returned to Realauction.  ***** will have to wait for this envelope to be delivered to her by the United ********************* or wait until said envelope is returned to Realauction so we can re-mail the same refund check to her. 

    IF ***** does not want to wait any further and instead would like Realauction to issue a stop payment on the original refund check number ****,the bank charges a 35 dollar fee to place a stop payment.  ***** will need to pay the 35 dollar stop payment fee before Realauction will place a stop payment on the original refund check number ****.  After the stop payment fee has been paid by *****, Realauction will go ahead and issue a stop payment on check number **** and then will re-issue a new refund check.

    I deposited a total of 20k with this company and after not finding a property I had interest in I requested a refund. After a 2 week period they rejected my request and stated I would have to re-submit the request in the increments that reflected the separate amounts that I made up the total amount on deposit. (This is not mentioned on the site) I resubmitted and after weeks they call me again and ask me to cancel the request because they can now deposit the money within days via ******* did not trust these people so I demanded they forward my funds via check as promised weeks later I am still waiting. It is my opinion these people are holding our funds to earn interest that we will never see.

    On 12/13/2023 @ 10:45 am Realauction.com rejected the refund request in the amount of ****** because ****** belongs to Simmer ********** and ****** belongs to *******************.
    Realauction.com contacted ******************* and advised him to please log back into the website and create multiple refund request so that Realauction.com could approve and return the funds to the Originator that the funds came from.  

    On 12/13/2023 @ 1:09 pm ******************* requested a refund in the amount of *****.

    On 12/13/2023 @ 1:10 pm ******************* requested a refund in the amount of *****.

    On 12/13/2023 @ 1:11 pm ******************* requested a refund in the amount of ******.

    On 12/20/2023 Realauction.com implemented a new method of refunds that would give us the ability to return any wire deposit back to the originator via ***.  Realauction.com contacted ******************* and explained to him that rather than having to wait for the ************* ************** to deliver a check in the mail, we could instead return these funds electronically via *** and the funds would go back into the same bank account that originated the deposits.  However, in order for it to work, Realauction.com would have to reject the 3 current pending refunds requested on 12/13/2023 and ******************* would have to log back into the website to request the refunds so that Realauction.com would have the data needed to transmit the funds back to the originators bank via *** refund.  ******************* refused and stated he wants the check refunds to be mailed. 

    On 12/28/2023 Realauction.com approved all three refund requests.

    In early July 2023, I submitted a deposit by wire to RealAuction to participate in online auction of real estate deeds in Dallas County. The deposit amount was $2500, equal to 5% of the capable bid amount. When depositing, I was informed by RealAuction that deposits would be refunded in the same manner they were deposited. After several months of auctions and uninteresting offerings, I requested from RealAuction a refund of my $2500 deposit on November 6, 2023. I received an email on November 13, 2023 stating that the deposit would be refunded by way of Check, though at the time of deposit, it stated that refunds of deposits would be made in the same method that deposits were received. They also stated that it would take up to 15 business days to complete the return of deposit. I waited for over 15 business days, and spoke with customer service regarding the status of deposit refund. **************** said that the ************ had been experiencing delays due to the Thanksgiving holiday, and that was potentially the reason for the delay of refund. Not having an issue with any other vendors or persons that I had received mail from through ***** I felt there was something different going on. I asked if there were any other methods for returning the deposit, such as a wire (the same method I deposited). RealAuction customer service stated that they cannot offer a wire refund, and that the indication of such in the email was inaccurately stated. I asked if they could refund the money via ACH, and they said they could only do so if they deposit was made via ****** asked if they could ***** me the refund, and they said I could pay for a $35 stop loss on the refund check sent to me and mail to RealAuction a prepaid ***** envelope, and they would send me the new check via the prepaid *****. I asked for them to cover the stop loss fee given this was their issue, and they said they would not do so. It is now December 18, 2023- 25 biz days, and I have not received the refund.
