  I move every couple years due to work and up until now, I always moved myself. My recruiter suggested a moving company this time and I was skeptical but happy I did it.

  This company seems to be a combination of a mess and a scam.Federal Motor Carrier Safety Admin has a page of red flags. Allegiance committed all 3 of the top 3 red flags & 5 of the other 11 red flags.They low-balled their initial estimate at $3,750, 480 sqft for a 2-bed, 2-bath apartment. Ultimately I was charged over $10,000 and was only provided the estimate after my property was loaded. They haven't provided the tariff list they used to create the initial estimate when requested.After accepting an initial deposit, they demanded the balance of the full initial estimate in advance of pickup, only in cash or wire transfer. When the cash transfer was made, they falsely denied receiving it for 2 weeks, attempted to have their subcontractors collect it again at pickup & again at delivery, & only 'found it' after being confronted with a notarized statement from the ********** branch manager certifying that the deposit was made.They said the move would be completed in 34 days by the same team on the pick-************* ends, with my property being moved on only one truck. The move took 12 days, the property was moved off the truck into storage & then placed on another truck, and different 'teams' from two different subcontracted 'companies' handled the move on each end. For delivery, they didn't have professional ************* was forced to hire random men off ********** an hour before delivery. They lost & were unable to provide the full inventory of property upon delivery.They damaged and broke property, including dishes; glasses; picture frames, furniture ***************** electronics, including a flat screen television; and the hallways leading to my apartment were banged up by their trolleys as they went back and forth.They don't return phone calls or emails. I have still never heard from a manager despite leaving multiple messages over the course of the last 7 weeks. Customer rep ******* got combative on the phone & hung up on me multiple times.

  Recommended to Allegiance from my father who used them 2 years ago. I was nervous because I had never used one before but they were great and I will use them again when I need to.

  I was grateful for the team who showed up. Mike and his crew were funny, personable, and kind. I know that does not seem like what you necessarily need in a mover, but since I was moving out of State due to a divorce, having those things put me at ease

  I had Allegiance Van lines help me with my move, but I decided to have them pack my entire house too. I was so happy I did. They communicated everything I needed to do before like pack my own medications and Anthony was there to answer all my questions
