      Punta Gorda Aluminum gave us an estimate of our damage within two weeks after Hurricane Ian. We gave them a check for $1000.00 on October 13th, 2022 and were told that the job would take place in 4 to 6 months. We waited 6 months before contacting them again; I called who I assumed was the owner and he told me to call the office and leave a message. I did. Numerous times over the last year and a half; all I got was answering service saying they would relay the message. Have not heard anything back. Spoke to them in person when they were working on a neighbors, was told they would contact office for me to get information, still heard nothing. We have since gotten our lanai done by someone else, but told them if they didn't want to refund us, we still had other work that needed to be done. Still nothing. They literally watched us put up siding and fix damage ourselves as they were working on neighbors. No one would even come over to talk to us. I know we are not the only ones who lost their $1000.00 to them; not sure how they live with themselves knowing that they are taking advantage of people distraught by the hurricane. Now, we just want our money back.

      They installed our screen room back at the end of July 2022. The attachment to the house from the screen room has ALWAYS leaked. We also have always had water coming in the double doors. We were hit with hurricane *** last September - 2022. We sustained damage to 80% of the screens, some of the framing and the doors. They came back to fix the damage - at our expense of course - and they were also supposed to make SURE the attachment area was FINALLY fixed. The first big rain we had after the repair we had a WATERFALL COMING INTO about 25 feet of the attachment area. That was several months ago. It is now ************* of 2023. My husband has been trying to get ahold of them on a weekly to 3 times per week to get them over here to fix it. I am now completely over waiting for them to get this done. IF you use them, DO NOT give them final payment until they fix EVERYTHING they promised they would take care of.
