  Due to good reports from several years ago and good Angies List reports, I called Jones Sons Plumbing for an estimate. The Representative stated it would be a $99 charge to come out and give us an estimate to replace the two washing machine hose connections. Feeling the plumber could give me advice, I agreed to the charge even though I thought that was unusual. As a handyman but not a plumber, I felt the job would require a licensed plumber and my estimate would be in the $250 range. The Jones Sons plumber shows up with an assistant and he takes one look at the water connections and goes out to his truck to create an estimate. He presents the estimate of $792.74 to replace the plumbing box that included a one year $99 membership fee for VIP future service. I told him that $692 to replace the two faucet connections was ridiculous. I asked him what he was planning on doing and he stated if I wasnt going to hire them, he would not tell me what he was going to do. I reluctantly paid the $99 and asked them to leave our home. I called my second choice ************ Plumbing who came out the following day. The plumber came in and said the job would only take about an hour so he thought the price would be around $250. I let him do it including two new valves soldered in and the final bill came to $264.00. Ill let you decide if you would want to hire Jones Sons Plumbing but we would never call them again.

  The plumber did the work correctly and efficiently but I don't understand how they have the NERVE to charge over $2k for less than 2 hrs of work and a few feet of PVC. And they have you by the b@#$s because you have to pay $100 if you don't use their services. Just outrageous. And then I have to find someone else to fix the wall and the technician couldn't even refer someone that could do the work. Very disappointing.

  Where should I begin, I called them because they are in my community booklet. I lived in a 55 over community. I called and the customer service rep said it a $99 up front fee, so just to show up. But it will be used to my bill.But if I don't use them I will still be charged the $99 . She said " Oh it won't be that much" Well it's a gimmick I just needed a pump that regulates the water level. And that's it! The plumber ( *****) was very nice, but was trying to sell me a toilet!!!!! So he showed me a bills of 3 levels ( these people are crooks) they wanted 700-1200 dollars of work to do on a basic pump!!!!!! how can they sleep at night charging people in a mobile home park, that's on a fixed income? DO NOT USED THESE PEOPLE EVER!!!!!!!!!! I was desperate and they only did the basic work and charged me $309, I was under distress because we need our toilet because sometimes I watch my elderly grandmother 3 times a week, because I work from home. I will be telling the lady that works on the booklet to take them out! they should not be charging people of low income exorbitant amounts just to change a pump etc. I will be calling my credit card company too. Shame on this company!!!! I will also get in touch with consumers affairs over their price gouging tactics.

  We were gouged by this company. We were charged over $666.00 to have our pipes snaked out. Then another charge to replace a main under our home adding up to over $1000.00. We moved here from **** and had no idea who to call. They came quickly, the men were nice But they removed our toilet twice, snaking from them Rather than even looking for the clean out which we do have! Ignorance is no excuse but we are not educated on plumbing. We are learning now and Still require more work! We will hire a reputable plumber next. We are retired and they charged 3 times more than the going rate again we didnt know. After inquiring of our park managers we realize we hired the wrong company. Beware All homeowners.. they will overcharge you .

  Always used this company for any plumbing repairs because they were reasonable and good. Called them concerning a clogged washer drain and was quoted a price of $560 for snaking the drain. I still had to pay them $100 just for coming out. Apparently new owners that have tripled their prices. The plumber Josh was so nice and professional. Bye Bye Jones & Sons.

  We don't need to call a plumber often, but when we do we always call Jones and Sons. Today, it was an issue with our toilet. ***** just left and did an awesome job with a quick repair. We have never, ever been disappointed. ***** also took the time to explain the benefits of our **** faucets, like calling for free replacement parts! We have always found they are more than happy to give us advice to minimize repairs with some simple maintenance tips. Thanks to Jones and Sons for another outstanding job; professional and very cordial!
