    Toured this gym on Saturday, the young man that showed us around was very nice. My wife, my daughter and myself were all present. We discussed the training that we do and discussed my daughters training regimen, that we supervise. As certified personal trainers, we know that we can safely train our 12 year-old and we supervise her each time at the gym. The gentleman agreed and said it would not be a problem for my daughter to train at the gym. We told him that we would buy her a membership, to which he answered she can be a guest. We thought this was strange, but agreed. When we showed up on Monday for our first out, we were greeted by exceedingly rude manager. She was very nasty, telling us that our daughter could not work out in this gym. We explained to her that her employee told us on Saturday, this would be fine, which is why we joined. We also stated again that we would be happy to purchase her a membership, as we had stated to the young man, who had obviously lied in order to get my wife and I to sign up. She stated "Oh Well, I'll talk to him" and then proceeded to then cancel our membership and telling us "you will not be charged anymore". I asked her if she was going to refund all our money as we were never able to use the gym. She wouldn't answer the question and walked off. This is a highly unprofessional place, the sales people will lie to you to get you to sign a membership, and the management is used to it, probably promotes it to get gym memberships. I would like my money refunded, as it was obtained under false pretenses and no services were rendered

    The entire reason for joining this gym was so that I would be able to play basketball at night. I pay for premium membership which includes a court that I can only use during the day. If there was problems with gym members which caused the courts to close at night then those members should be banned. I have to suffer because of other peoples problems.

    ON JUNE 16 2023 MY GYM (YOUFIT) CLOSED UNEXPECTEDLY. A SIGN ON THE DOOR OF THE BUSINESS STATED THAT MY MEMBERSHIP WAS TRANSFERED TO AMPED FITNESS-SARASOTA. I PRESENTED TO AMPED FITNESS ON JUNE 19, 2023-REQUESTING TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT. I WAS TOLD THAT THE COMPUTER RECORDS HAD NOT BEEN TRANSFERED-I WOULD HAVE TO COME BACK LATER. ON JUNE 27,2023-I CALLED AMPED FITNESS TO CANCEL- I WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO PRESENT IN PERSON TO CANCELL- I AGAIN PRESNTED IN PERSON- I WAS TOLD THE COMPUTER FILES WERE STILL NOT TRANSFERRED-I COULD NOT CANCELL AT THIS TIME. I WAS PUT ON A "LIST" TO BE CANCELLED. I CALLED MY BANK AND HAD ALL FUTURE PAYMENTS CANCELLED. ON JULY 17,2023 I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM *** FITNESS SOLUTIONS THAT MY ACCOUNT WAS DELINQUENT AND I WAS BEING CHARGED LATE FEES. ON JULY 21,2023 I AGAIN PRESNTED TO AMPED FITNESS-I WAS TOLD BY THE MANAGER ( ***************************** ) THAT MY NAME WAS ON THE " LIST". HE STATED THE COMPUTER WOULD NOT LET HIM CANCELL MY MEMEBERSHIP. HE REFERED ME TO ***FINANCIAL CUSTOMER SERVICES ***************). I CALLED *** AND SPOKE WITH ***** FROM *********** ,***. WE HAD A 15 MINUTE PHONE CALL. SHE PLACED ME ON HOLD 2 TIMES DURING THIS CALL TO REACH OUT TO THE AMPED FITNESS -SARASOTA. SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS TOLD "I WAS ON THE LIST- AND NO ONE THERE WAS AUTHORIZED TO DO ANYTHING ELSE. SHE WAS UNABLE TO OFFER ME ANY ADVICE. ACCORDING TO *** FINANCIAL M ACCT # IS **********.
