December 5th paid ****** down payment. Professional Lift Solutions on March 26th Installed Lift Elevator in my home. We ordered the "automatic door closer" with the lift. The elevator is still non functional and he refuses to pull the permit (we were billed for numerous times) for electrical and building. Charlotte County is trying to make him pull permit but he is not. Alot more information...I have pictures and emails of this unprofessional person ***** Talkie who all he does is lie and lie some more. I would like to send you the entire packet via mail with all this information if it will help resolve this nightmare. This is the resolution I sent him. Resolution to **********************/ ***************************** automatic door needs to close and function so that a person who moves in the elevator may travel upstairs without having someone hold open or close the door for them. Automatic door closure needs to function so that the elevator may be recalled from the top floor. We will purchase the expensive door closure (upgrade) because the one installed does not work. But we need the other things addressed and completed prior to this. Bottom lift hatch needs to be repaired as per the instruction manual states so that the cab will not move anywhere until the bottom door fully closes. The pool light you cut needs to be fixed..The upstairs opening needs to be finished as was promised and according to code.We need a completed permit from **************** for this new electric elevator on our premises with inspections and repairs as necessary. The damaged panels need to be replaced. The panels need to all fit at the seams. I would like an instruction manual and copy of the warranty

    *****************,

It is sad to see that you have come to the internet to bash our reputation with false claims and your side of the story, rather than the truth of the dispute.  Regarding you circumstances, it is sad that you have chosen the route of public bashing due to your neglect of options for the lift that were offered to you from inception (See Attached). Please reference the attached signed estimate that clearly shows your decline of automatic gate operators due to cost during our negotiations. With the lift being external, you have faced issues of the elements(wind) that are out of our control that have made the lift more difficult to use due to your decline of said automatic operated door/gate. We offered multiple suggestions on how to best operate the lift, custom stronger door closers, as well as the option to upgrade to automatic door operators but you were not willing to pay for our services. We have had three separate techs out to your residence for customer turnover. The first visit was for a service as the lift was not operating properly and we were prompt within 48h to get back onsite and get the lift back properly running and turned over for your families use. The following two visits requested we showed up and demonstrated the lift in perfect working order with no payment for our services.

Regarding the permit, in multiple talks with the county, they were under the impression that we had installed and built a large enclosure due to your conversation and your incorrect verbiage. We installed a battery operated enclosed vertical lift that is its own structure. In the State of **, there is no Residential Elevator/Lift Permit Required. The county has now simply asked us to provide an Electrical Permit, as well as a simple engineered drawing to demonstrate how the lift is attached. As noted, there is no Residential Elevator Permit as told to you and remains factual.

Regarding Construction, you have mentioned multiple times that the opening (that is code compliant) will be handled by your contractors, you simply cannot come to the internet to make up things when we have offered to modify it to your liking before you decided to withhold payment.

Regarding electrical this is already in the works and is responsibility of the subcontractor, although zero proof do defend the light was an issue of the electrician or our lift installation.

Regarding the damaged panels, these were damaged after our installation and is not our responsibility. We have the pictures and videos of installation of a thorough walk through demonstrating the perfect function and panels in 100% working order.

Regarding the Instruction Manual and Warranty we send that with the clients final receipt. That has not happened yet.

I am rejecting this response because:
This is all lies. We have photographs and all email responses.
It is not code compliant. The gap upstairs is 4.5 inches. This is a Life Safety Code Violation. It needs a permit.
The electric was all newly installed. It needs a permit.
You cut the pool light box, left the wires hanging. It needs a permit.
We did not damage any of the panels. We have video proof that you will not and have refused to compare with your pictures.

The elevator sits inoperable. The automatic door does not work and never has.
Our  handicapped daughter is now not safe from harm.

You are a lier and a bully Grant ******* This will all catch up to you eventually.

We have tried to settle this without going to legal consultation, however it seems we will have too.

    Sincerely,

    ***********************

    *****************,

We have demonstrated the proper function of your lift multiple times and your neglect of options has lead to the issues you face regarding use of the lift.

I mentioned in our prior response that we are working on the electrical permit that is required for a battery operated lift. That is all that is needed per the county of *********, there is NO ELEVATOR PERMIT. Although in conversation, the county was lead to believe a completely different style system was installed from your conversation.

Regarding your construction services, you had mentioned numerous times after our offer to modify the gap that you claim is "out of code compliance" which is incorrect, it is under 4", that you would be handling the "construction work" and "Electrical". I had demonstrated before you refused to pay us, that we would gladly place a small post to make this gap more compliant.

Now that you have realized that the issues caused on this lift are due to self inflicted neglect of options from the beginning, you are taking to the internet to spread a false narrative. Not to mention you have refused to pay our team in which caused this whole ordeal.  Our team has sent you all pictures and videos of our installation, not to mention a video of your husband telling our team what a great job we did and how happy you are to have the lift. We can go on and on but you will continue to bash our company because you are unhappy.

Our representative ******* will be reaching out in the next few weeks to confirm when we can get our electrician onsite to review the issues you have with your pool light, and confirm we have everything ready for permit/inspection. I will also be utilize our engineer to review all concerns regarding construction to confirm once and for all that everything is code compliant. Regarding the lift operation, as demonstrated numerous times, we will once again demonstrate that the lift is fully functional, less the options you neglected. Upon this completion, we will expect the full $8,000 payment upon departure from your residence, otherwise, the lift will be locked out.

To conclude, name calling and slander is just an immature way of attempting to insult someone. Our team at PLS services thousands of clients a year, and unfortunately we sometimes get clients with buyers remorse like yourself. Please keep the responses professional regarding movement forward instead of taking personal shots.

You know how to contact myself, our team, or our legal counsel. Please take the responses to somewhere productive to movement forward.

    thanks,

I am rejecting this response because:
The statements in Professional Lift Solutions are all false statements.
Grant I have Never recieved your photos and videos. I am requesting you send them again via e-mail or even better certified **** mail.

That is great news that ******* will be out to evaluate the elevator. Looking forward to scheduling that visit with the county inspections.
I would be happy to pay the remaining balance when all the Resolutuons have been met.
I do not consider the platform of the Better Business Bureau public bashing. This platform is available to consumers to assist with getting resolutions to contract disputes with companies and contractors. This is not social media.

We have constantly replied to these messages, as well as worked directly with the client and yet to have received payment. Upon our initial return, the lift was found in perfect working order and the trip counter showed use much beyond our departure or original demonstration use. It is sad to see a client blatantly lie on a social platform regarding the use/working of their lift.

Due to the client mentioning to the county an "elevator" was installed without permit, and making the *** lift sound much more extravagant than it is,  we are now actively working with the county to explain the working of an *** ********** lift and that from a structural standpoint nothing was changed and a permit should not be needed from a local jurisdiction for anything other than the Electrical. The electrical permit is currently in process for the 120V 15A breaker. If for some reason any permit is required after further conversation, the additional costs will be calculated and paid for by the client, as well as any additional construction services that could be required.

After modifying a few construction portions for the client to their liking, the client has now requested to purchase the automatic operators that were suggested from the beginning, however, we will need to charge for the additional parts, labor and freight prior to this installation, as well as this will need to be paid in full prior to ordering.

Our team has been more than responsive to the client, and continues to be, but the slander and lies is at stand still for our team.

I am rejecting this response because:

It was not to code, so they repaired the opening. They did not repair to my liking It had to be done per code. To be able to get the permit,

My husband got the bolt to retract off the door. He fixed it. We have still not been using the lift because the automatic door closer still does not function.

Your electricians repaired the pool light they cut. They have still not provided a permit required by county for the new electrical.

We are still waiting on permits that were in the original contract 5 months before work even started. We have been billed for the permits 6 times since January. Still waiting on the permits.

i am looking forward to the permits being completed so that we can complete this contract and pay this bill.

We will definitely not be using your company to get a door closure system that works. You are untrustworthy and everything that comes out of your mouth is a lie or half truth.

***** I actually feel sorry for you.
it appears that your Cardinal ****** education and Catholic upbringing and integrity does not mean anything to you.

    Sincerely,

I will leave all credibility to be read by future clients here as it is sad to see a middle aged adult lying about the function of their lift. It is great to know that since inception your lift has been functioning perfectly as intended less the options you chose to neglect from the estimate signing.

You mention the pool light that was cut, you are correct it was. However, you have continued to forget (likely failed to mention) that your husband suggested and let **** and ****** know that he would be taking care of it as it was "no issue" at the time. Funny how things are forgotten.

The fact of the matter is at this point you have been slanderous in terminology towards our business while portraying a false narrative, not to mention, all while taking personal jabs at myself that have Zero to do with the discussion at hand.  It defines the class of which you are.

Please assume that our team will no longer communicate with you as we tried our best to work together to fix the issues that were created from yourself for not purchasing an option that was suggested.

I will talk with our attorney and move the process forward in a much more amicable way instead of playing childish name calling games.

As you continue to discuss the "permit issue" I will be discussing with our state elevator inspector as well as the plans examiner from the county to put this to bed tomorrow afternoon. Our attorney will update you on the phone call by end of the week

Please save the time from responding here, as we will not respond any further.
