I agree with the other reviews and would give a zero rating if I could. Customer service is the worst--can't keep records straight and do not contact you as promised. They even told me that another company had installed my elevator!! The business is poorly run with a clear disregard for good customer relations. The elevator is a high ticket item. Installation was rushed and there was a disregard for my property with holes punched in the ceiling and considerable damage to dry wall. A company interested in strong customer relations would have managed installation expectations openly. Within the first 8 months, the elevator stalled between floors and then continued to do so 3 more times. Each visit from the tech cleared the fault but did not address the root of the problem. Some of the techs are arrogant and do not want to listen. In the 4 trips they made to resolve the issue only the last tech actually called the manufacturer and it turns out the seals have to be replaced after less than 2 years of use and only 1380 trips. In the meantime I have not had a working elevator for 2 months which could be disastrous for anyone who cannot climb stairs. The manufacturer's website states that the PVE30 model is eco friendly and only needs maintenance at 4-5 years or 15,000 trips. This was confirmed by one of the techs but PLS are intent on trying to sell me the maintenance package before they even fix the ongoing problem. I would recommend avoiding this company and their products at all costs. If my elevator were a car it would have fallen under the lemon law.

Thank you for your response. I will address your concerns in order.

With multiple clients sharing the same last name, one of our newer representatives mistakenly believed that the installation was performed by another company. We are confident that we completed the installation without any rush, particularly considering the construction services that preceded it. We collaborated closely with you to ensure that we provided exceptional customer service and met your expectations.

We have addressed the damages you mentioned, which we believe to be false allegations posed for this review.

Regarding the elevator issues, we have been proactive in addressing them. We have obtained instructions from the manufacturer and are working diligently to resolve the problem step by step. While we understand your desire for a prompt resolution, we must emphasize that our service department is currently experiencing high demand due to the recent hurricanes, which has affected thousands of clients. We are committed to providing timely service, but we cannot guarantee immediate repairs.

To clarify our current delay, we mentioned to you roughly two weeks ago that we have ordered and are waiting on parts for your elevator. With the manufacturer shut down for Christmas, we have had difficulty in receiving the parts. Not to mention staff taking time off during the holiday at Professional Lift Solutions  and Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators.

We appreciate your feedback on the internet review pages, but we remain diligent in our commitment to delivering exceptional service and products to our clients. While we acknowledge the challenges posed by the large number of units we have installed, we are confident that we meet the expectations of our valued customers and that sometimes delays happen.

My question regarding whether this ongoing problem was warranty work was sent on 12/11/24. I was told to expect a response the next day as your staff needed to get together to discuss. It is now 1/2/25 and I am still awaiting a response. I honesty don't call that exceptional customer service.

I worked for 2-3 months with this PLS company (Sarasota & Atlanta) to buy an elevator >$50,000.00. The presale support was great. Phones alls were answered. A site visit conducted. An owner partner called and provided assurances -- like they would service my account from across the state. I was genuinely impressed. Then I paid a $20,000+ deposit they insisted on, over my better judgement. After the deposit was paid? Phone calls weren't answered. Promises to call me back weren't fulfilled. Site visits promised for the "installation team" and the co-owner never happened. Meanwhile we could not frame nor wire nor provision for the new elevator. They're answer? Its all in the installation document..... Now, I am having to sue them to get my deposit back after they disingenuously claim I cancelled our agreement and therefore contractually forfeited my deposit. Caveat Emptor! I would never recommend this company!

On reading Reviews and Complaints ( 3 ) filed regarding this Company, it is obvious to me that these ring a very familiar tone to the experiences we have encountered. The leadership of this company is not making efforts to build a reliable and trustworthy business. Caution is recommended, The PvE manufactured and installed elevator at USD 49,000 appears to be of good quality and functionality, but the Dealer's (PLS), supplied " Construction " job is substandard and mediocre. In the Contract dated April 18, 2022, PLS estimated the rather uncomplicated construction of a landning for the elevator tube on the 2nd floor to cost USD 3,500. On August 19, 2022, Presented a bill for USD 6,300, = almost twice the estimate for this job, in which they charged for skilled technicians at 185 per hour plus 20 % = $222 for 22 hours, plus other inflated charges for materials $ 1,000 and three trips to the hardware stores, plus $540 for local transportation. In correspondence with PLS, the deficiences were communicatedto the CEO of PLS, and on September 24, 2022, I presented the proposal that instead of spending time and money on legal costs, we agree to settle the claim for $ 3,500 as estimated. My proposal was declined by the company on September 26th. Instead PLS chose to spend more money on legal representation and took me to court. However, instead of fighting the charges and spending more time and money on legal costs I agreed to settle their claims for $ 5,000. I had two different companies make quotes for performing a quality job building the Landing and they proposed $3,352 and $ 3,706 respectively. The Quality and finishing of the "construction" work of PLS is very mediocre and the lack of Customer Service is troublesome, There are no misunderstandings!

    ****,

Your opinion on construction work has clearly been your issue throughout this whole process. We have pictures and data that show this project was not only done properly but you also had a representative of yourself onsite that approved of the work daily.

Our Team had to unfortunately bring in our legal representation when you refused to pay your construction bill after your onsite representative approved of our work.

Yourself, being a craftsmen with wood, had the opportunity to complete the construction portion of the project on your own per your contract, but your requested that our experienced team complete the work for you at our agreed upon cost plus 20%. There was no hiding our costs at any point.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however, we completed the project to a structural standard to make the elevator work perfectly in your home.
