    I purchased a skydive appointment for $340.00 on June 22, 2022. I scheduled this appointment for July 19, 2022 at 8:00am.On the morning of July 19, 2022 at 6:31am I received a text message from ************************* stating that "the plane is being worked on" and the rental plane was not delivered. He offered to reschedule my appointment for the same day but at a location over 2 hours from the original destination. I declined this offer because I was in town for vacation and leaving the next day. Instead of giving me a refund (the company cancelled, not me), they emailed me a gift certificate stating it never expires. I have tried to reschedule appointment by emailing ********************************** but have not received a response. I also called the phone number listed *************) and was connected with a physical therapy office. The person I spoke with said Skydive Sarasota is permanently closed.Due to the lack of professionalism and response from Skydive Sarasota, I would much rather receive a refund at this point, because many other customers online (on Better Business Bureau and Trip Advisor) have shared experiences that were the exact same as mine.

    On 6/01/22 I purchased a tandem skydive for $****** which included a package for pictures/video. This was for skydiving for 08/02/22. On 6/24/22, I purchased a tandem skydive for my friend to join me for $****** with Sarasota Skydive LLC for the same date. The night before the skydive was supposed to happen, I received a text the night before that the trip had been cancelled due to lack of an availability for a pilot. This was at 10:40pm the night before (08/01/2022). We then requested a refund for this, rather than a reschedule, and they refused, despite the fact that they cancelled on their own accord. Months later, they seem to have gone out of business and the company no longer seems to exist. I had been in contact with them many times and have been in contact with my credit card and debit card companies where I made the purchases. Skydive LLC refused to issue a refund despite the fact that they themselves cancelled the trip. I have opened up a fraudulent claim through Discover for the $****** and am awaiting a result. The $****** charge was on my debit card with ************** and Trust. So in total there is a charge of ******, plus ****** for a total of $890.00 with no skydiving trip and the company no longer seems to exist, at least from ****** or it is "temporarily closed". We would request a full refund plus additional compensation for stealing from us and not offering a solution. Thank you for your help.

    I paid the owner ************************* just shy of $3000 to get my skydive license. He seemed on the influence of some sort of illicit drug. So I decided not to go due to safety reasons and he is unwilling to refund my money. I paid them through Venmo so I think that is a scam he is running apparently this is not the first time that he has done this. After speaking with others in the field

    I bought a tandem skydive for $600 on March 18th, 2022 for my aunt and myself scheduled for 2 days later. The day before I got into a rope swing accident on a river and had severe rope ***** all up and down my body (and in between my legs) due to that injury I feared that going skydiving (and wearing a harness) would not be okay and be too painful so I cancelled the skydive. They told me I would be added to a 'queue' and I could go when I was feeling better. I called multiple times in the following months to schedule something but I either never got patched through, got hung up on, the weather was bad, or no one signed up for class. This past week they shut down their facility and I have been trying for weeks to get my refund. I have messaged and called. I was talking to **** the manager on instagram using their business page and even reached out on his personal. Hes now being unresponsive. I am moving out of the state in 2 weeks. All I want is my refund as I never jumped.
