continued calls even though we have expressly said we will not donate to their organization and to stop calling us. This is harassment and we have contacted the local law enforcement on this issue.Initial Complaint

I received a call from a male stating I had donated to this organization before and wanted me to do so again. He wanted me to give him a credit card number to do so. I told him he could just mail the info to me. He was insistant, but I said no. So he said he would. I did receive a donation card in the mail about 10/12 days ago. I had not mailed it back yet when I was contacted by a female from IUPA. She said they sent the mailer. I said I got it but had a very busy work schedule and had not even opened the envelope yet. She tried to lay a guilt trip on me. She aggressively insisted that I should give her a credit card number to charge it. I said ''Are you trying to lay a guilt trip on me?! '' and I hung up. Last year I sent a check and asked to be removed from their calling list. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. I will not be sending anymore money. I'm not even sure they do what there website says. I'm a former police dispatcher and my husband retired Capt ***** Fe County Sheriffs Office. I don't know anyone this organization has assisted or done anything for. I do not like their aggressive tactics. I don't want their phone solicitations, but they don't care. I want them to STOP!Initial Complaint

This organization calls me EVERY DAY. They asked for a credit card over the phone and I declined. They sent me TWO billing notices and because they did not appear to be a legit operation I checked wtih the BBB and see that they are not an organization I will support. . They harass and provide no information as to what exactly they do. ROBO calls are awful.Initial Complaint

I was contacted by the Police and Troopers Association and I agreed to make a $25 donation if they mailed me the donation form, which they did. My check cleared in early December. Ever since donating I have been bombarded with calls from endless ********** phone numbers asking for additional donations to ************************ I block the numbers daily but they continue to call from new numbers with new area codes. I have called back and asked to be removed from their call list multiple times. I have spoken to the caller several times and asked to be removed. I have filed multiple complaints with the Do Not Call Registry. They just keep calling. Please help. At this point I feel extremely harassed and am contemplating changing my phone number that I have had for over ************************************************************** this way. A few of the numbers that have called me recently are:************ ************ ************ ************ ************Initial Complaint

About two months ago my husband and I received a phone call from the National Police Assoc, it started as a robocall and asked for a donation. Was transferred to a live person asking for card info, to which we requested info on who they were so we could decide to mail a donation. We received the mail, it looked like a bill, and sent a $25 donation after looking at their website. Since then, I have been receiving calls from them, as well as several other "non profits," multiple times every single day. I've blocked over 20 numbers, but they use a new number each time. I've asked politely that they stop calling, I've told them they are harassing me, I've threatened to report them. They just keep calling. One of the calls I received today was a live person telling me they haven't yet received my pledge and asked me for card info. I told her I've already donated, she's harassing me and I plan to report this company. I asked her if she understood this time and hung up on her. I've had it with these calls. Day and night, several times a day, from 7am to sometimes 9pm. I just want it to STOP. I'm on the do not call list but I don't think they care. I've reported some of the numbers on the do not call website but since this company calls from multiple different numbers it's probably all in vain. I'm considering changing my phone number if it makes the calls stop. Funny, I received a letter from them about a month after my husband and I made the donation, thanking me and explaining their campaigns have been so successful in raising money, but more money was always needed to help our police across America. What a scam. Wonder where all the money actually goes?Initial Complaint

On 12/15/22, I pledged $20 to the NPTA after receiving a phonecall from them soliciting donations to their organization. I refused to provide credit card information to them and asked to be sent something via mail instead and provide a payment by check. I did not receive anything from them in the mail to make a payment as requested, but I did get hounded with no less than seven addition phonecalls requesting my credit card information to make good on my pledge. This was particularly trying as we had a death in the immediate family on Dec. 12 and had many important phonecalls during that time. During the last phonecall, I reiterated that I did not want to be called, would never be giving my credit card information over the phone, and needed to be mailed. They finally sent a mailing, but after feeling I had been harassed by this organization, I have no intention of supporting them--ever. The interactions were highly pushy, questionable at best, frequent, and obtrusive. I support the police force and troopers, but I will be doing so without this organization's "assistance."Initial Complaint

2/18/23. 10am. They called my cell, I agreed to help woth a donation of $20. He connected me to someone who then asked if I could add additional $10, I agreed. What caught me was she asked me what my total donation was. I said well what did you just add the$10 to? From then on it was quiet, she talked over me so I yelled cancel!! She forwarded me to her manager who said she'd Issue a refund in 5-7 days. Apparently they already took it out.Initial Complaint
