Stop calling me! They call at all hours and use a 928 number and different other numbers so I cannot block them. I have asked them to remove me from their phone list many times. This has gone on for a couple of years. Then every few months I get a letter from the National ********************************************************************* ************************************** saying I pledged ***** and they want me to pay so I will not be called during their upcoming phone fund-raising campaign. It feels like extortion and at least harassment. Please help.Initial Complaint

I received a call from the National Police and Troopers Association and I allowed myself to listen to the pitch. My son is a law enforcement officer. The gentleman presented himself as a Law enforcement officer and was requesting support for their charity providing support for **** and their families in times of need, especially the fallen. I pledged $20. After the call, I began to question the decision and conducted an internet search. Their mission does not reflect what was portrayed in the phone call. Since I had reservations, when the statement came, I did not immediately pay. I have received two phone calls from spoofed numbers asking for my pledge. I honored the request for the pledge. I feel the misrepresentation and the spoofed numbers send up all sorts of red flags about the way they are conducting their business if legitimate at all. In the fine print, on the back of their statement, they affirm they are not a charity but a non-profit police union.Initial Complaint

Just now (on Monday, 02/06/23) and yesterday, and at least twice last week, and literally dozens and dozens of times before then, this sleazy organization has harassed me with their damned (official sounding) prerecorded robocalls. Mind you, my personal and business numbers have been on both the State and National Do Not Call Registries since the months that they came into existence (decades ago), As of today, theyve come up with a new twist: now, a one-second-long initial message demands, Are you THERE?! in the same booming baritone voice as their original message, before it comes on and announces This is the National Association of Troopers and Police Officers (by which point, Ive usually already hung up). Many years ago, this same scam operation connived me out of a donation in exchange for a promise of some local advertising, which was never delivered. Since then, I have hung up on them every time, because any business that lacks integrity has about as much value and usefulness to me as a secondhand used condom.Initial Complaint

I have been receiving calls several times a year from this company for over 15 years. I have asked many many times FOR OVER 15 YEARS for my number to be removed from their calling list as I am on the national do not call register and their continuous calls are ILLEGAL. I have been hung up on every time I've requested my number removed except for yesterday. I talked to "*****" who first tried to tell me they aren't calling several times a year and my number should've been removed the first time I asked. She held me on the line for over 20 minutes trying to pacify my ire of this company that does not operate legally by their random calls and refusal to remove my number from their call list. I'm still not sure if my number was removed so I want to file this as an added complaint to the other same complaints on this company. I think it's about time that this company be fined for all their harassing calls. The company is a 501C non profit but the donations are NOT tax deductible. There's a whole lot of red flags on this company and if indeed they actually donate to the police and fire personnel across the country. I have not lived in PA since *************************************************************************** They are the only calls that come in from PA and documentation is available.Initial Complaint

I have been called by this organization multiple times after requesting to be on their no call list. I have requested to be on their no call list at least 9 times and have been called over and over again for months after the request. I am requesting to be permanently added to the no call list. I have never given this organization my phone number or permission to contiually call and harass me.Initial Complaint

The National Police and Trooper association calls FREQUENTLY soliciting donations. They use a variety of phone numbers so it's impossible to block them all. I'm on the National Do Not Call registry, I've told them directly not to call me, and when I try to ask them about the business, to speak with a manager or person in charge, they hang up on me. At their peak, I was contacted multiple times in the same DAY seeking donations and now I'm contacted bi-weekly if not more often. I block the phone number every time and they still find a way to call me.Initial Complaint

I've received multiple calls from this organization over the last year. It's always a robocaller. I've asked them on each occasion to stop calling me. Today (Saturday, January 21, 2023) they called at 7:50am, waking both my husband and I up. I've blocked 6 different numbers from them, but they seem to have an endless supply to harass us. I just want their calls to STOP.
