  I receive about 10+ calls a year from telemarketers stating that they are fundraising for this organization, and I swear it is the same male voice each time. I request each time to be put on the do not call list, yet a month later I get another call. While I support law enforcement, I do not condone this predatory telemarketing tactic - especially after requests are made to cease and desist.

  Same thing here, thanks for these reviews. Aggressively stating if he could count on my support and that the lowest donation this year will be $20 and they would send something in the mail. I said as long as its legitimate I would consider donating. He hung up rudely when I started to ask questions.

  08/29/22 I have been in Law Enforcment for almost 50 years, from Patrolman to Chief. I retired from the Police ***** after 35 years and went to for the ********************** part time. I just revieved a call on my "Issued cell Phone"!! I knew I had him and decieded to play him to the best. I said I would donate $ ******** the man loved me. He asked for my name I said *********************, Phd address ********************************* *************. (************ is under the Quabban Res) **** him I had a teenage son name ***** and that I was an inventor. When asked where the money would go he gave me the usual BS line. After about a 1/2 hr of FUN I asked before I give you my credit card number may I ask you a few quesions, he said sure, I asked him if he ever watched old movies and he said yes, the next one was, did you ever watch Back to the Future, and he said it was one of his favorates, and had watched all three, great I said. My next question was did he remember the name of the crazy inventor who build the Time Machine? his answear yea it was Emmet...he hung up!! ****** I wanted to keep he on the phone for another half hour. I would give 0 stars but not available, TRUE SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chief ********** Retired

  This is a union organization, not a charity, so your donation is not tax deductible. On average the people that call you get a percentage of your pledge - that's why they're so aggressive. They also call on behalf of other similar organizations so once you pledge to one, you go on a list for others. Make your donations to your local police and fire departments which are usually 501(c)3 so that you know where your money is going.

  same as everyone else - these guys are terrible. Just got a call - with same format now stating they are some sort of veterans association!! same scripted answers - same voice - STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!

  Actually no stars.Their money funds Trump campaign which is very underhanded.They do not mention this when calling.They also harass.The caller told me I made a pledge.I never made a pledge.She said,oh yes,you made it for 35.00.No I never spoke to anyone.She said loudlyyes you did.Just honor the pledge It puts a bad smudge on police .Please get these callers to stop.I get 4-6calls a day! *******

  This needs to be looked into. They are swindling seniors of money. I've had it. Turned it over to my mom's bank and real police!
