      After Hurricane ******** turned my sprinklers on station by station. Water was gushing out of the top of the new indexing valve that LaGrow irrigation installed last year. I called LaGrow and asked if it was supposed to do that and the lady said, she didn't know. She would have someone come out and check it and set up an appointment about a week later. I said I needed to have my sprinklers checked also as some might have been run over during the storm. My lawn man checked all my sprinklers so I called back and said NOT to check them it was already done. The man from LaGrow called to say he was coming and I again asked him "Are they supposed to gush water out of the top of the valve and he said "NO". He checked the valve and called me back to tell me "They are supposed to do that!" They sent me a bill for $85 for doing nothing!.

      When our Field Supervisor called asking about the water gushing out of the TOP of the valve, he did say that it was not normal. The customer then asked him to send someone out to repair the water coming from the TOP of the valve. Creating a service call. When our Technician got there to inspect the problem. The water was coming out from the BOTTOM of the open end valve, which is normal.  If the customer had said that it was coming from the bottom of the valve he would have saved her a service call. We take pride in our work. We do our best to keep cost down, however with gas, insurance and just the cost of running a business we do have to charge for service calls. As like any other business. We are truly sorry that this customer feels that she was charged in the wrong.
