    Date of hail storm 04-26-23 Claim 05-1-23, Date inspected 5-10-23 Told that Stanleys roofing would put a tarp over roof.Check sent and lost in mail. 2nd check sent by insurance was written to my deceased husband. 3rd time received correct check and I immediately sent funds in full. 10-10-23 I was bullied non-stop during this time by an employee to send the money even though I had explained multiple times. Told that roof would be 2 days starting Nov 6. On Nov 13 still no roof, no communication. Still no tarp! On 11-17-23 sent message to employee stating that there was a leak due to heavy rain. 11-20-23 sent another message, another leak in MB closet. Water standing.Roof finally tarped on11-21-23. Still no roof, no date. Roof replaced end of December. Shingles left in bushes, tacks , debris. On Jan 3, I sent text re: when cleanup would happen. 84yo father had to clean up tacks so cars could be parked in driveway. Jan 4 they came to clean up. Roof inspected and it FAILED inspection. Rained on Jan 12, roof leaked. Jan 13, had to tarp roof again. Due to roof not tarped in beginning, there is damage to closet and mold in sunroom ceiling and walls, damage to office ceiling. Currently, leaking roof, no gutters or rain guards, damage to home due to negligence in not tarping home after original storm. Packs of unopened shingles put in dumpster. Inferior shingles used compared to what was promised

    Hi,

    We have been in conversation with ************************. We took care of the leak within a week of her notifying us, have since completed the roof, and are in good standing with her. We are currently in the process of completing the final repair on the chimney in order to close out the project. She has also paid for the majority of the bill, with a small portion remaining that we should receive once the project is completed. 

    This job was completed based on an insurance claim, so the money provided to us was from her insurance company. 

    Please let us know what else we can provide in order to close out this case within the BBB and remove the complaint from our page.

    This case should not have been closed. The roof was not done correctly. Shingles covered holes, rotten wood. For some reason your site is not allowing me to finish the complaint. I even tried from the date you said it was closed till now. So much more has happened. Roof failed 2nd inspection, damage to inside of home from faulty roof etc. what can I do?

    Pictures are from March 9, 2024 and show Stanleys Roofing out again, trying to patch up the mistakes that were made.  Pictures also show where damage and mold have been cut away, the Master Bedroom, Large Closet and Office are not livable. The 2 people that live in this bedroom are 84 and 86 years old.   The mold test failed inspection March 7th. More wall removed March 11, 2024 and More mold was found.  
    Stanleys roofing only talks to me when I call them. They were scheduled to do repairs on roof March 9, NO SHOW, NO CALL.  Got repairs rescheduled March 10.  Crew was an hour and a half late. When I informed them that they were late I was told. Its Saturday with a shrug.  They did not know what they were supposed to do or where on the roof they needed to work. At least 6 places were repaired, patching in small squares of plywood that they had to go buy. One small piece of plywood to fix where entire sheets of plywood were rotten and covered over with shingles.
