      I received a pop up box on my computer while using the internet that offered a service I thought I might be interested in using in the future. They said I had to verify the element I might use in the future to make possible purchases. It would cost only $2.00 and would be refunded once the account was verified. ( complied, as after all, the $2.00 would be refunded and I could give deeper consideration when I might want to make a purchase. To make a long story short, I received no $2.00 refund and two days later the same VODBOX-2 was charging my debit card $49.99! I did not even access VODBOX-2, make any choices, and I don't even know in detail what my supposed account was for! I contacted my bank and they said, yes, my account was being charged $49.99, but it was still "in process" and they could not contest it until it went "through". So I will be contesting it, if I can. I checked "VODBOX-2 on line, and the BBB/VODBOX-2 showed up. I checked into it, and read four complaints, all exactly like my experience. I tried to call VODBOX-2, and it is all automated, you can talk to no one, and have to contact them through email. In short, this is a scam, short and simple. I now realize that by spending $2.00, which they said would be refunded, they got my debit card information and went for a swift $49.99! There is something so grossly wrong when you can be so easily taken before you even understand what has happened. Such businesses with those practices should pay to the full extent of the law! Thanks for listening. It is interesting that this business had the nerve to ask for credit card numbers "so we can track and refund." Yeah, right!!!!
