    Family's Choice Electrical Repair is 100% MY family's choice. I own a local business and they were here at the drop of a hat to get my business back up and running. Their techs know what they are doing and are very courteous and professional. The owner is a philanthropist in the community and supports other local businesses, organizations, charities, and causes. Overall, an excellent company I am proud to do business with. In response to another review I see on this site complaining that they can get the part cheaper elsewhere -- we MUST value these SKILLED trades in our community and our nation. You are not paying for an "Amazon part" and an hour of some ********************* labor -- if that's what you want, do it yourself. You are paying for the years if not decades of education and experience and the CONVENIENCE of having that part that you need in their truck ready to go. And yes, trucks cost a lot to keep on the road, and there are a lot of other expenses associated with operating a business. Want the peace of mind that your house isn't going to burn down? Want to save yourself hours on ******* trying and failing to figure out what your problem is and days waiting for an Amazon order for a part that *** or *** not work? Want the convenience of a PROFESSIONAL coming out to your house when you're in duress and warrantying their work if there are any future problems? Look no further.     Family's Choice is a quality electric company in *****, they helped us with blinky lights at our house. They were honest about the issue, didn't overcharge, and let us know we were good to go rather than try to oversell!

    Needed some electrical work and called Family's Choice Electric. Found out I needed three ARC breakers replaced in the electric panel. The three breakers were replaced at a cost of $300 each. It was recommended that I also install a surge protector in the panel which was an additional $1,200. I agreed and the work was completed in about fifteen minutes. Next day I discovered that the EXACT same breaker was available for $36 at Amazon. The surge protector was available for less the $100. Buyer beware! I would avoid using this company. Be smart, get several estimates.
