GROSSLY OVERCHARGED I am a long term customer with an ********************************************* contract and was charged a "discounted" rate of $220.00 to change a $20.00 lightbulb in my refrigerator. The replacement took the technician 30 seconds to pop the bad bulb out and snap the new one in. Hate to think what I would have been charged without my pricey service contract. Called to speak with a supervisor - still waiting for a call back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.Around the Clock A/C Service, LLC

We are sorry you feel this way. We did tell you the price the before we ordered the part. The part does cost more than $20.00 unfortunately and our minimum labor charge is ****** alone. We did discount the entire repair and it has a 1 year warranty.Review fromTraci L

I have no words for the horrific experience we have had with this company. My air was working on Thursday, but staying a consistent 2-3 degrees warmer than the thermostat. We have a service contract , so we called them to come out. In the past, I have had positive experiences, but like many of these reviews say, recently this company has been horrible. The technician appeared to be a third party contractor, he had no shirt or truck identifying himself. I had a schedule time of 2-5 pm and he called from his personal phone saying he would be at my house in 20 min (I was at work at 1130.) he cut me off and talked over me, and tried to tell me my system needed black lights replaced for mold. I persistently asked him what would fix this issue TODAY and he kept repeating a part. He told me my contract wasnt valid, and when I called the office, they said it was. He replaced what he thought the problem was, and it didnt work, so he said he would have to order a part and left without telling me. He called me later on his personal cell trying to sell me a new unit for 1000 off and then said he ordered the part. He provided no information timeframe or cost, and when I called ********** she said she would get back to me. She had no cares about it his unprofessionalism and said a supervisor would call me back. No one did. Its now two days later, I got a text that they would be here today 9-12, and no one called to tell me that actually it would be Tuesday because of the long weekend. Again, no supervisors, no on call managers, just an overworked lady answering with no answers. My air was working when they came, and now it doesnt work at all. And there is no one to call to help. We do apologize for the unit not working. Unfortunately the manufactures were closed for the holiday weekend and we were unable to get the part. We are going to your property first thing this morning to install it.Review fromRegina L

This company installed new ac. There is a fan attached to our ductwork that blows the air to the back of the house. This fan should shut off when air is not blowing. It does not. They came to work on it, declared they are not familiar and said call an electrician. An electrician said call them back. They finally came back and a tech said it was fixed. It was not. Another tech came out and said it was broken and we need a new one at the cost of $1400. We do not feel we should pay because they broke it. If they claim they did not and know nothing about how it works, how can they say they can repair it? This company loves to have you spend more money every time they come out.Around the Clock A/C Service, LLC

We are sorry but there seems to be some confusion. You are not being charged for the repair. Please call us when you are back in town to install the part.Review fromPeter K

1 starThey installed a new air conditioner and claimed all was working. I turned on the fan only setting and the symbol on the thermostat displayed but no fan. This initiated a series of three service calls. The second visit involved two people, only one of whom would reluctantly and rudely speak with me. They had the whole assembly in my home taken apart. I called the office and they said they'd send someone else out. Meanwhile those two left without telling me. The fourth repairman fixed the problem within 10 minutes. A few days later I turned on the heat and 2.5 hours later it started blowing heat. I called and a tech came out and diagnosed a faulty heat sequencer. As he didn't have it on his truck another service appointment was scheduled for between 11:30-2:30. At 2:35 I called the office and they didn't have the part so a city inspection of the installation had to be cancelled. I don't know when this mess will be settled. I tried to save money by writing checks, which have been cashed. Had I paid the 2nd payment by credit card I could have held back they're money. One star is too many for these clowns.Review fromJOSEPHINE R

I was recently grossly overcharged for service on my air conditioning unit by Air Around the Clock, Last Friday, the technician from the company needed to replace some parts in my unit. I later discovered that most of the replaced parts were still under warranty, since my unit is 6 years old. I asked the technician for an itemized bill when he told me that the cost would be $12,000.00. He said that one would be emailed on the following day since the office was already closed. I received an invoice stating that I paid in full, with a small notation on the bottom stating the parts that were replaced. I called the office repeatedly for an itemized invoice. After researching what was done and talking to people, I discovered that I had been overcharged for the service and those parts which were covered under warranty. I spoke to a woman in charge of the office, who was quite rude, and explained why I felt that I was overcharged. She said that she would speak to her supervisor and call me back. Since she did not call me back, I called a day later and she refused to talk to me. Instead an office worker relayed her message stating that that was the price and they were not refunding any of my money.
I have used Air Around the Clock for several years, in three different homes and I am really quite angry at the way I have been treated recently. Not only was I overcharged, but I was disrespected by the employees in charge.Around the Clock A/C Service, LLC

18 months ago, my wife and I called Air Around the Clock to clean the air ducts for which we were charged over $1,500.00. Supposedly this deep cleaning and the sealing of the ducts would ensure us of cleaner breathing air. Instead of clean air we got air particles, dust and even some of the product that was sprayed into the ducts. The hose that was used to vacuum out the ducts was very dirty and we told them about it, but they insisted that it would clean all the ducts, which was not true. After the work we called ATC again to come to our house and see the particles on our furnishings and generally all over the house. The person who came said that it was dust particles and not the result of the work they performed, so he bid us good bye and left. What the *** said was not true and we were left totally dissatisfied. On April 20, ****************************************************************************************************************************************** the air than any other time before we had the job done in our house. Another tech was sent to our house only to negate our claims even though he saw the evidence in front of him. Another lie was fabricated and the individual left us hanging and twithout any solution to the problem. Several months after that incident, our ** began to malfunction. I again called ATC, the tech came and informed me that the condensation drain (trap) was clogged. It had white particles, dust and liquid making it a paste (the same materials found inside the house on our counters and everywhere around the house). We paid a hefty price just to have it removed from the condenser. ATC has made my wife, son, and myself ill from breathing these particles that the ** is continually blowing on us. We are inhaling this junk and it is making us sick! *** is responsible for us not being well and they should resolve this matter for us now!P A R and I R - Miramar, **Around the Clock A/C Service, LLC

Good Morning,
Yes we did go back to the home on 4/23 and inspected the ductwork. It was still clean and explained that the duct work is clean and sealed but it will not prevent dust from happening. The a/c clogging up was in 2/24 a year after the work was performed and is no relation to the ductwork being cleaned. The white paste as you called it is normal calcium build up every drain line gets over time.
We have pictures of before and after, also of the 4/23 visit but we can not post them on this format.

So my 87 year old mother had a new a/c unit installed 15 months ago by Air Around the Clock. And yesterday she started hearing a clicking noise coming from the Air handler. Called AATC to come see what the problem was. The problem was a loose piece of tape inside the duct flapping Around. They cut open the duct removed the tape that they just installed last year and put new tape and covered it with cement and taped up the hole that they made to gain access. Their faulty work that needed to be corrected that took a stretched out 45 minutes. And they had the ordacity to charge a senior citizen on a fixed social security income who just paid almost $6,000.00 last year for this a/c.......$695.00 to fix what they did wrong. They will never get any business from us again and you should be cautious about the way they treat their customers.Around the Clock A/C Service, LLC

We apologize this is not something we did wrong. The city passed the install over a year ago and we have not been there since but you are correct the price is too high. We will be refunding $470.00 back to her.Review fromLaura W

Air Around the Clock, didn't honor their sale contract. I have a sale contract to install a new Rheem Split System in my home.On the sales invoice it stated an new filter back return grill and a new ultraviolet light to be stalled. Work was done on May 18,2024 incomplete. I called two times in May to resolve this issue. No call back. But my bill was paid in full. Don't use Air around the clock, they want to sale you service contract but don't want to honor a sale contract.Around the Clock A/C Service, LLC

1 starI called Around the Clock and they came to my condo. After quoting me the cost for a new A/C unit, I called and cancelled the order the next day. I never received a bill or statement and I checked my credit card statement and they charged me $7,850 for a new unit, then credited $7, 065, leaving me with a $785 bill. They never contacted me or sent me a bill but told me it was for cancellation fees and permit fees for a unit I never purchased. I can see charging a service call fee, but $785 is a total scam. DO NOT CALL OR USE THEM. I am disputing the charge with my bank today!Review fromRamona D

After we recieved a flyer for an A/C check for $ 19 we called them to do the $19 A/C check. A very ***************** come to the appointment(2 A/C were properly working at this time) The guy mentioned that we needed freon to the system as we agreed he went up to the second floor ,come back and mentioned the charge would be $495 for 2 minutes and we don't believe that he even filled up freon because he just went upstairs not outside to the system. we issued the check ... after one day the system stopped working so we have to hire another company. two good guys come found the problem repaired it and the A/C system works since than fine ,we paid $270. During this process we tried to reach out the around the clock company wrote them an e mail that we believe that is all fraud and hold them responsible no answer at all so we canceled the check. After about 4 weeks we recieved a "lien letter "per e mail forcing and pressing us to pay the full amount again without any comments . Today we tried to reach the manager again he was not available no comments. *After the mechanic left someone from the company called us more than agressive we need a new A/C system offered us for$ ****** . The new Company which helped us very well made us an offer for a new system which we don't need about $ 6500. so cheating Companies should be taking of the marked forever. we still want our full money back. Thanks and who is reading this be very carefulAround the Clock A/C Service, LLC

Unfortunately, we had to issue a lien because you put a stop payment without notifying us of any problems. Then we made several attempts to call you which we received no response. We do have pictures of the freon being added before and after pressures and him working on the outside unit. If the system stopped working a day later you could of called us back or told us when we were at your other property three days later. if you have any issues in the future please let us know.Around the Clock A/C Service, LLC
