      Physicians and staff did a great job. HOWEVER, I was required to prepay or would not be put on the surgery schedule, even though the providers and facility accept assignment with ********* They filed the insurance, they DID NOT report what I prepaid. The ******** agent told me this is INSURANCE FRAUD.Insurance denied the claim for wrong coding and asked for additional information from the provider's billing office. After 2 appeals filed by them and one appeal I filed on their behalf, ******** found them to be liable for the charges and was instructed to reimburse me what I had prepaid. I sent them a copy of the letter as well. In their response, they refused again to correct the coding or reimburse me and said that they would no longer pursue this claim through the appeals process.I contacted ******** and an ASSIGNMENT VIOLATION escalation has been issued against them and is still under review. ********************** uses this group of anesthesiologists. As it has been more than 6 months and nothing has been resolved, I have been advised to retain the services of an attorney. That will be my next step once I complete this review.

      Can't criticize service..they drug you. Billing is a fraud tho. Wrong procedure codes, charges don't add up. BCBS cannot identify what the charges are for. DO NOT PAY BILL UNTIL INVESTIGATED.

      As an RN, I find this group to be non-compliant with federal laws and standards and they violate patient rights. Not acceptable.
