      5/6 Price quoted on phone of 250 to 335 for single panel sliding glass door film installation. After install completion I was told it was 350. Paid via Zelle. Requested film be put on exterior due to dog scratching. **** said he had film that would withstand dog scratching. Mentioned someone he knew that had a 100lb dog and there was no scratching damage on the film. **** reassured me numerous times that my dog would not be able to scratch this film. My dog is 17lbs, nails clipped, and scratch marks were obvious by 5/8. ******** calls were made to ****, first regarding not being supplied with a receipt, then about the scratches with each call telling me he would get back with me. On 5/20, Monday, **** started backtracking, saying the film wasnt completely scratch proof. During this explanation I interjected several times that that is not what he said. I was offered a replacement, which I declined. He told me that he would come to my home, inspect it, and return me my 350 in cash on Wednesday, 5/22 at 11am. At 12:30 I called called, received a text back saying Ill call you back, and that was the last contact that he made with me, despite continued calls and texts after that demanding my money. I have made 10 phones calls to **** about this situation and several texts requesting a response from him, or who he has said are the owners, *** and ******. My last attempt was a text 5/22 at 3:34. I am prepared to take this matter to small claims court.

      I paid $650 for a tint service on 11/30/2023 (maybe 11/29/2023). The service that was provided was extremely unsatisfactory. Water was left inside every film that was applied and not only failed to meet expectations but created a disorienting driving experience. The company hasnt been punctual a single time, refuses to abide by any warranty standards to replace the films, and refuses to also provide any reimbursement to take back their services. The service Tint Express is providing should not be allowed to be continued to be provided, they hide behind a 4.9 status on ******* however, the 2.3 status on Yelp details the real quality of product. Service aside, this company should be noted as exhibiting extremely prejudiced views to their customers. I listened to homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic slurs by both **** and the owner of the company while they were installing the tint. Ive never been more concerned for the professional conduct of a company that serves an extremely diverse and accepting community.

      About 3 years ago I got my windows tinted from this company by an employee named ****, who claimed to be the fastest tinter in the world. The windows started peeling downwards and I contacted the company to come out and redo them as they stated they had a LIFETIME WARRANTY. These people have done a no call no show for 3 years now. They will call you and text you saying 30 minutes away, your next, etc. but still not show up. I am seeking a full refund from this company.

      I got my tint done on May 31st 2023 by Tint detail and Audio express. They stated that I could roll my windows down after 48 hours so i did and after I rolled them down 3 out of the 4 windows crinkled/made crinkling noises. My driver side window was so bad I had to rip the tint completely off to even roll my window down. I kept contacting **** the guy that seems to run the tint side of the company about my issue and he kept telling me dates theyd come out and fix and they never did just left me in the dust I have few text to prove occasions he said hed send his boys out to fix it. Mostly was phone calls which have now been too long to retract. So finally I was tired of waiting so I filed a claim through the company which said I would get a call within 48 hours and **** even said the office would call me never got a call. So they finally came out on a Friday I believe June 9th after **** telling me multiple dates theyd come out since June 3rd. So when they came out on the 9th they told me they did not have any of the tint I had purchased on them on the time and that id get a call that coming up Monday June 12th and never got a call that day or heard from them since the 9th.

      Invoice # ****- Window tint service provided on 2/16/23. Owner **** and employee **** tinted my 2019 VW Tiguan. I paid $480 cash (**** requested that I pay in cash when making my appt the previous day) for the ceramic tint package. The same day of installation, I informed **** that I found scratches on the film on the inside of all my windows. Also, the left back passenger window has film that was not adhered properly to the side edge, so it appears that it is peeling. The top edge of the drivers side window is malformed as well. **** stated that he felt the scratches were caused by the card **** used during installation of the tint and that they would reinstall the tint on 2/20. This did not happen and there have been a series of no show/no calls since then. Due to this I requested a refund on Sat. 2/25 as they failed to show up for an appointment once again. **** stated he would solve the issue on Sun. 2/26, this did not happen either. He then stated that **** would contact me on Mon. 2/27 at 9am, I never received a call. **** called later on that morning and stated he would show up the same evening of 2/27 with **** to solve the issue. This did not occur. Instead **** called me and I have been in contact with him as well regarding my refund the last 3 days. On Wednesday 3/1, **** stated that he would arrive with **** around 5pm to remove the tint and provide me with my refund. They did not show up or call. I am requesting a refund because the installation of the tint was not completed properly and I will have to get it removed and reinstalled. I am requesting your assistance in this matter as they have failed to keep their appointments and failed to follow through on providing me with my refund. I would like to add that they showed up to my home at 7:15pm on 3/1 as I was writing this complaint. **** and **** confirmed the scratches and peeling of the tint. They communicated this information to the owner **** via phone and they still denied to provide my refund.

      Our warranty policy states that we have 30 days to get to customer. Within a week of customers original contact with employees, our team was trying to get to her before our allotted time. Please note that customer did not follow warranty requesting procedures, private text to individual employees personal lines are not part of the warranty process. The customer has one window warranty were it seems that film creased. All other customer claims pass the **** installation standards. The window with the crease has a lifetime warranty. We have a clear no cash refund policy listed in our website and attached pdf to receipt link customer received. 

      if customer doesnt want our team to take care of her warranty. We can have a representative of the window film manufacturer to come out to take care of issue. However, it is stated on our website that we give estimated time frames - weather, traffic and other unforeseen situations related to mobile service can make it difficult to make it to a stop. Specially when we have time restrictions from customers schedule. However, we try our best. Never the less we stay in communication when this events happen. 

      please note that when we came out to customers home to take care of warranty yesterday 03/01. Customers significant other threaten employees and owner who was on the line with taking their wallets and forcefully getting a refund. They denied us access to vehicle and refused to let us take down the existing tint job if they werent satisfied. When the gentleman know as the customers significant other threaten our employees to shoot them in the head and made insinuations of being armed we instructed our employees to leave. 

      at this point the customer can have their warranty handled by manufacturer who will provide them with a date of resolution.

      I did not accept the response because they are making false statements and I dont agree. I did not initiate the texting after the service was completed. **** did when he asked me about leaving them a ****** review. Since we were already in contact, I figured Id mention the issues with the tint. When he called me I asked him what the process is to get this issue resolved. He stated that he would take care of the situation. Therefore, I did not think I had to take further action until I realized that **** was not being honest. I sent him text messages to follow up regarding lack of paperwork, receipt, and no call/no shows. **** insisted on making phone calls rather than responding via text. One of the no call/no show instances was on 2/27/2023 when **** texted he was 17 mins away on the Causeway and never showed up or communicated the reason. My husband left in the middle of work to meet **** and **** never showed up. We called **** and he sent calls to voicemail. I have missed multiple days of work because of ***** complete lack of communication regarding appointments. What they stated in their response is not true. And the points that they made about the tint are also false. Also, the paperwork and receipt they say they provided with the no cash back policy was sent to me several days after the service date. If **** wouldve been up front about that policy, I wouldve never agreed to pay cash. Their technicians showed up at my home after 7pm on 3/1/2023 when the appointment was for 5pm. They both commented on all of the things that were wrong with the window tint, which matched what I wrote in my original complaint. They even stated that the tint would have to be removed and replaced. I did allow them access to my vehicle, thats how the technicians were able to assess the damage and send the owner pictures of it. The reason for **** and **** coming out that day (3/1/2023) was to: (per **** via phone call) remove the tint and issue a refund. What I did not allow was for them to attempt to remove and replace tint in the complete dark of night. That wouldve led to rescheduling removal & replacement for another day, thus restarting the cycle of no-calls/no-shows and missed days of work. Unfortunately, I trusted **** and I was hoping they would honor their employees word regarding the removal of tint and refund. However, it seems that this is a lost cause and I dont want to be associated with a company that would resort to making false allegations. Therefore, I will deal with the removal and replacement of the tint on my own. I hope they take the time to reflect on their current business practices. Thank you BBB for your assistance in this matter. I would like to close my complaint.

      Our policies are clearly stated on our website and on warranty paperwork you received.
       We havent made any false statements and have the police report to prove it, as well of pictures of the vehicle as proof that the job is acceptable to the **** standards.

      We will not be scammed, blackmail or accept threats for the safety of our employees when they come out to fufill your request or a warranty. 

      as stated before, if you which we can have a representative of the manufacturer come out and look at tint job and take care of the one window that qualifies as a warranty.

      Tint Express installed ceramic window tint to all windows in my vehicle about 3 weeks ago. We cannot see out of the windshield tint if the sun is shining in. I have reached out to **** several times and usually get no response. He did reply one and said he would have someone here yesterday. Nobody showed up. Nobody called to say they weren't coming. Now I'm getting no response again. I cannot safely drive my vehicle until this issue is addressed.
