Was mistakenly contacted by ******* ****** from GoTu recruiting formerly TempMee. He and his organization continued to email and harass me. He included sending me Docusigns which were not relevant to me. I told him to stop sending me emails since they were not relevant to me. Instead he and his organization continued to email me and threaten me. I am not a dentist and told them that, but for some reason they continue to harass me via email. Ive asked them to remove my email, but its not happening. Is there anything you can do? Im not asking for much, just not to be harassed to hire dental hygienists when Im not a dentist.Business Response

This correspondence is in response to the complaint submitted by Nikhil Desai (“Complainant”) regarding “mistaken[] contact[] by Michael Barber from GoTu recruiting formerly TempMee.” The complaint alleges continued email contact and harassment which included threats.
After reviewing the matter internally, we believe the issue arose due to human error - namely, Mr. Barber was in the middle of a sales process with a Dr. N. Desai and after concluding a phone call sent a follow-up email and DocuSign contract per normal company process. Unfortunately, Mr. Barber omitted several characters from our client’s email address and ended up contacting the Complainant instead. The described repeated DocuSign emails are automatic notification emails triggered by the signature program to remind a customer about an outstanding, requested signature. It is a standard function of the tool and was not a result of Mr. Barber’s prompting. When the Complainant eventually responded to Mr. Barber’s communications, the correspondence was not clear and Mr. Barber was confused, at first thinking the responses were automatic replies and then believing our client was joking with him given their ongoing phone dialogue. Mr. Barber never made any threatening or harassing statements in the emails to the Complainant. Upon discovery of the email address error, the DocuSign envelope was corrected and all communications with the Complainant stopped.
We acknowledge that this caused confusion and frustration, and we regret that the Complainant (neither a customer or platform worker with standing to file a BBB complaint - there was no marketplace interaction upon which to base the complaint) was accidentally contacted. Our website has multiple options noted, which would have provided the Complainant support and recourse for this situation.
We confirm this was not an intentional error, and we have taken the following steps to address the issue:
1. The email address was removed from DocuSign;
2. No further correspondence will take place with the Complainant.
We believe this resolves the issue, but we remain available should the Complainant have further questions or concerns. We appreciate the opportunity to respond and are committed to providing a positive marketplace experience.

Context: Our platform allows for shift adjustments (to be confirmed by both office and professional) which is the case in relation to this complaint.
The complainant arrive to her shift somewhere between 20 and 45 minutes late, then left the office at lunch without returning in the afternoon. She has a slight disagreement with the office she worked at in relation to the exact hours worked. She claims an 8:05 am arrival and 12:20 pm departure whereas the office claims she arrive at 830 and left at ****. In the rate instances of a time worked disagreement such as this, we speak with both parties to confirm as many facts about the circumstances as possible. In this case, after speaking to both parties, our team determined that while the office was able to provide the most accurate information surrounding the shift, the best route was to accept one time from each party. As such the complainant was paid for a shift starting at 805 am and ending at **** am.
I believe that the core complaint here is that we don't track app users through their phones while they use our platform. It's our belief that this would be against our terms of service, unethical, and quite possibly illegal.

I used Tempmee to secure a dental assistant using their recruitment service. I paid Tempmee in full ($2000) and hired a vetted assistant. The assistant left the job without notice. Tempmee provided a replacement. Despite their resume (which appears to have been doctored to highlight skills which she does not possess) being highlighted by Tempmee as a replacement, this assistant lacks BASIC knowledge and training. She in no way has the *************** of a "2+ year old" assistant, as highlighted by Tempmee. This company engaged in bait and switch, and left me with a poorly skilled assistant (which is now a liability to my office) and refuses to fix the situation or provide a PROPER replacement.Initial Complaint

I worked 2 assignments for the same dental office. I was booked again on a 3rd assignment hoping my payment from the last 2 would hit my bank. IT NEVER DID. I told the dental office i did not want to cancel but i have not yet been paid. I called my bank several times and they explained i have no deposits and none pending. My bank also explained they have no trace of the bogus transaction number TempMee gave me. TempMee just gave me the run around. All my direct deposit info was correct and they just gave me a bogus trace number. They never even sent me the $25 sign up fee. I worked 3 full work days as a dental assistant for TempMee and have yet to be paid.Business Response

This turned out to be an easy fix that was completed last week. The professional had entered her payment information incorrectly upon account creation. Stripe, our payment vendor, successfully issued the payment to the account she entered. The bank then informed Stripe the next day the payment information was incorrect. We notified the professional her payment information entered was invalid and she updated her payment information to the correct account. We rushed the payout to ensure she still received payment within our standard payment terms, called out in our FAQs & documentation, despite her having provided us an invalid payment method initially. We confirmed with the professional that her payments for all three completed shifts were received within the standard payment terms.

On Monday, August 29, 2022 spoke to TempMee company with recruiter ***. He explained the process of finding a Dental Hygienist , the cost and the money back guarantee if we were not satisfied. Both ************************************* and myself spent time talking to *** and we questioned the money back guarantee in 30 days since the conversation went to *** saying it would take 2-3 weeks to get us onboarded and then the recruits would start applying. I questioned *** very extensively of my hesitancy in joining because I said, if it takes 2-3 weeks for unboarding, that would not be enough time to find or not find a permanent hire. Knowing that we were "satisfied or not satisfied" in a week's time was not sufficient.*** VERBALLY assured me that it was a FULL refund if we were not satisfied. Today was the "onboarding" questionnaire and I had already paid $600 as a downpayment. I told the company that ************ and I discussed the process and decided we did not feel COMFORTABLE with the 30 day guarantee and we decided that the company is not going to be a good fit. *** said" you cannot ge t a refund. You paid for a months worth of work and we will not refund it." I said, "*** that is not what you told me! You said there was a money back guarantee AND the $600 was part of a monthly payment instead of prepaying the $3000 total to find a full time dental hygienist!" He said you can't get your money back that I had to" use the month you paid for" I said that he lied to me and I was not dealing with him since he refused to give me the $600 back.So, I hope BBB can resolve this. I have been in business ***************************** for over 30 years and have dealt with many companies and their 100% money back guarantee. We issued a refund on the 7th of September. They received the refund on September 12th. ***** spoke with them after and it seems there was a miscommunication about the guarantee. ***** spoke with them on August 31st and smoothed out the issue which resulted in the refund. Attached is a screenshot of the payment scheduled to be refunded.
