      It has been 5 weeks since Hurricane ***. 4 office adjusters and 2 supervisors later and we still do not have a response from Slide regarding our claim. Now they tell us another adjuster will be coming to inspect our roof again on Thanksgiving Day! By the time that happens and a report is filed it will be two months. We have put out more than $12,000 to make repairs so far, but Slide refused to send us any amount of money. We were told we would get 4 checks for the different items damaged. As of today they refuse to send any type of payment. We have 4 roof quotes, one of which is the company Slide recommended. They all recommend a new roof. We paid for a premium policy and are just getting the run around.

      Slide Insurance is pleased to have this opportunity to address the concerns expressed by our insured.  In fact, our records indicate that we had been in contact with the insured on November 9, 2022, the day before this matter was brought to our attention.  On that date, we reviewed the claim, explained that payments were being issued, and advised the insured that an inspection of the roof was needed to make a final determination of the damage and resolve that portion of the claim.  This discussion was then confirmed in an email to the insured.  Still, we understand that the claim process can be frustrating at times, so we have again contacted the insured and addressed all remaining concerns, including the need for an inspection, which has been scheduled for after Thanksgiving.  We will continue our efforts to bring this claim to a swift and satisfactory resolution, so that our insured may enjoy the holidays.

      I am rejecting this response because:  We are still waiting for a
      decision from Slide on roof payment.  The Slide inspector said we needed
      a new roof.  We have had multiple roof estimates, including the company
      Slide asked us to use.  All the companies have agreed that we need a
      new roof.  We have premium replacement insurance so I do not know what
      the hold up is.   We now have another inspector coming on Thanksgiving
      Day.  Slide's response says after Thanksgiving.   Now I do not know when
      they are coming.
