9/25/2024 called locksmith to have them come and provide a service to provide me a car key to start the ignition and was not provided that I want a refund and an apologyBusiness Response
Date: 10/02/2024
Dear *****,
We appreciate your business and would like to address the situation regarding your recent key replacement.
On the day you contacted us, we provided an initial quote of $185 plus tax for a replacement key based on the information available at that time. When our technician arrived on-site, he discovered that your vehicles key cylinder did not have a key code, which is unusual for a ******. The key code is necessary to properly cut a key that matches your lock. As a result, we informed you that we would need to purchase the key code from ******, which would incur an additional $50 charge. You agreed to this and we then continued to get the job done.
After completing the service, you called back and inquired about an additional key, which was not part of our agreement. We never discussed a second transponder key in our initial conversations, nor did we include it in the final price. Despite this, we offered you a second key at a discounted rate of $30. Unfortunately, you declined and requested the key be provided for free, and when we could not accommodate that request, you mentioned leaving negative feedback online.
We strive to be transparent and fair in our services and pricing, and I want to ensure we maintain open communication and address any misunderstandings. If there is anything more we can do to clarify the situation, please let us know.
Thank youCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
You are telling lies you did not speak to me directly you spoke with a minor child your employee didnt bother to speak to me at all nor did he verify or said a word to me in person the whole time he spoke with a minor child again my child is a minor you did business with a minor and he is not an owner of the vehicle your employee is at fault for doing business with a minor and didnt verify the owner of the vehicle and he didnt even ask for his id he wouldve known he was a minor and shouldve said I need to speak with an adult its common sense and when I spoke to so called manager he was not about customer service nor respectful nor was in any way helpful instead at the end of the conversation which I called him myself one he blew me off and didnt want to fix nor was willing to compromise again the technician never spoke to me at all nor did verify anything with me he never said anything to me he spoke only and only to my child and for that you are wrong and disgusting business because you should always verify to whom you are speaking with he shouldve ask for my sons id he would of known he was a minor and at that moment he shouldve said to my child I need an adult and the owner of this vehicle instead he told my son he would do him the favor of ripping him off completely and when I spoke to him on the phone he treated me horribly and was not willing to listen to my concerns nor wanted to hear me out and he threatened me saying Im just going to hang up on you and he said a vulgar words and profanity as well at the end of the conversation and he even told my child that he knew he didnt understand him and with that I said then why did you continue to speak with a minor and he said I didnt know he was a minor to that I say you as a business should have done your due diligence and you and your employee should have immediately recognized and rectified your mistake. You should be ashamed for what you did and yes I did give you negative reviews and Im willing to even take you to court for negligence and doing business with a minor and not doing your due diligence and also for child mistreatment and your employee misconduct and miscommunication with a minor and also you and your employee they way you spoke to me undermining me and not showing any respect nor responsibility nor customer service so Im irate. All I was asking is for you to rectify this but you didnt so now Im going to take you to court. You mislead my child and scammed him and you mis treated me and my child and that is unacceptable behavior as a business owner you should have done things differently and you should of personally apologized to me and you shouldve done what you originally promised at the price you said its called credibility and its the principle in how you handled the whole situation you should not be in business if you are not going to make sure your customers are 100 percent satisfied and with that I said you knew about the code for ****** because my son told you about it due to he has already spoken to the ****** dealership so you are lying and still you quoted 185 again your credibility is completely lost I was home when he called the ****** dealership and when he spoke to you on the phone and he told you about the code and yet you quoted that price so dont come to me and say otherwise. I strongly feel your malicious intentions and you doing wrongful action against my child calling him names and saying the world dont work that way making him feel like he is an idiot and not intelligent enough you as an business owner should know that you were completely ignorant because you shouldve have never done business with a minor in the first place for that Im going to take whatever measures I need to do.
Sincerely,
***** ******Initial Complaint

On Oct 22 I called to have We Do Locksmith make a spare key that had been lost for my vehicle. They quoted me $300 and would be at my home in an hour and a half. Was very pleased with speedy service, although he programmed my key into a Lexus key fob rather than a ****** saying thats all he had. That part doesnt bother me so very much but if it had bothered me that would be a bit awkward to have my car key already programmed. Would have preferred confirming that it was ok before it was just completed. When I went to pay, I was informed that it was $330 with the tax. I have a newborn so it didnt register right away, but we have only have a 7.5% sales tax in Clay county. I called and asked the technician about it and was told it was a credit card fee. I called the call center to complain and was told he would check with the technician. This was not discussed prior and is a shady way to do business. The receipt that was sent to me by text only shows the total and not any breakdown of the charges.Business Response

Facts: I was in need of a locksmith and was referred to this business by an online locksmith directory service. A person from we do locksmith, ************ contacted my corporate cell phone and arranged a date and time to complete a job that included making a working key and chip fob for my vehicle. This person was told implicitly and known or should have known a) that my vehicle was a ************* S500, a historically notably difficult vehicle to duplicate chip fobs for, b) that my car was located in an impound lot, for which I had to receive and was granted special permission for him to conduct his work, and c) that I would not be able to physically be present, because I had to be located at my own place of employment. I specifically and implicitly asked if he wanted to receive payment before or after job completion, as I was paying with cash. He told me to wait until the job was complete to remit payment for services rendered. The morning of the job (08/03/2022), I received phone calls and rude texts at the time when he was supposed to be at the job site (which I have retained as evidence). He explained he could not find my vehicle, yet just before he sent that text, he texted me a picture of my vehicle, proving himself a liar. The job was never completed. He further proved himself a liar along with being libelous when he went online to ****** reviews to reply to my review by explaining to the public that I am a "competitor" writing a "completely fake review. " This puts him and his business in quite the precarious legal predicament, as slander or libel opens one and one's business up to a whole world of civil litigation, with possible prosecution under the law, set time and again through nationwide precedents. He took time away from me and my employer which neither of us can ever get back. But the libel will ABSOLUTELY not be tolerated, and I demand satisfaction, because I feel it would be academic in this case, and they knew or should have known.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: it does not at all address the disgusting comment regarding my dead mother that was sent to my cell phone from the business owner (which I still have and will be showing the Florida state licensing bureau).
