On about 6/27 I had zoom meeting with a nice guy about getting lazer removal done. Totally he didn't seem to give to much right info on what I thought I was looking into. That should of been my first clue. But I had no idea he was forcing my into a loan and being pushy on signing a contract that was pages and pages long. I started receiving calls from ideal image every other day on making an appointment but finally when I thought about making an appointment she told me I'd have to pay like 300 dollars before my first appointment. I said um no why do I have to pay 300 to get one Lazer treatment. So I said nevermind. Then I got another call same thing I said "You know what l don't want this, I can't do this, I feel that's ridiculous to charge me that much, that no one told me." She went off on me saying that even if I don't do the Lazer removal that I still have to pay money regardless that there's no way to cancel, that she will not put me down to get a call anymore but I'm still gonna have to pay". I'd never heard of a thing like that before. So next thing I know I received a bill for 4000 in July that 105 of it is due by August 1st that's the minimum. I'm like are you kidding me I about fell to the floor. But only one person tried to resolve the issue they just told me to bad I had to pay regardless of getting treatments. I feel as this is a scam. I contacted the guy I talk to on zoom and asked him about it and all he said was that's crazy and knew no other information. I just wanna not pay for something I hadn't even done. I just want the bills gone I'm not paying for something I've not done. Why can't they send money back where it came from. On top of that there's a 19 percent fee really. And you apparently have to pay 90 percent of the minimum charge you have to pay. Sounds like a scam to me. I want this resolved

This interaction with Ideal Image begins in July of 2022. I've been wanting laser hair removal for years now, so finally looked at places around me and contacted Ideal Image asking about a quote. Instead got hastily rushed through the zoom consultation process and urged for payment before any in-person evaluation of whether I am actually a good candidate for laser hair removal treatment or not. Got pressured into signing a financing plan contract with a third-party lending company so I couldn't pay the full up-front cost, with the agent even going so far as to sign the papers for me ahead of time. Throughout the whole process I felt like I was being rushed through with little to no information as to the exact services I would be receiving. A day later, I initiated a cancellation process for the contract/membership with both Ideal Image and the third-party lender as Ideal Image never sent me the signed contract and does not have a email contact for customers (2 enormous red flags in the 21st century). Additionally one no-reply email by Ideal Image stated that no refunds would ever be issued even though their website states a 30-day grace period and absolutely no services have been rendered to me. It is my that this BBB complaint will get Ideal Image to reverse their illegal policies and cancel and refund all funds for both my contract and membership considering I haven't used them at all.

I met with an Ideal Image representative to have a free consultation. After this, I received a bill from Ally lending for $5000 in regards to Ideal Image, but I never signed or authorized this, nor did I provide the information for this to be done.

On Thursday July 14th, 2022, I was on a Zoom call with a sales representative from Ideal Image. I paid $2720 in full that day for Laser Hair removal and was told that I had 16 months to utilize the recommended 7-10 treatments. In order for the treatment to work and be permanent, you must make a follow up appointment within 6-8 weeks of the previous appointment. Included in the $2720, I was told that I would be charged $250 for their "lifetime guarantee". I was not told that this was an annual fee. In addition, I was told that there are only 5 locations in Massachusetts, 3 of which are completely out of the way for me. When attempting to make an appointment at the nearby locations, I was told that I would not be able to be seen for at least 3 months. I was fine with that and requested that I book an appointment ahead of time to secure my spot after those 3 months. I was told that I cannot book an appointment more than 3 months in advance. When I asked how I'm supposed to get an appointment, I was told that I would need to call their office once per week to see if they had availability and was also told that their nearest location to me (in Newton, MA) only has 1 provider. How can you run a business with only one provider?! Also, who has the time to call every week to attempt to schedule an appointment. I am having difficulty scheduling a first appointment, I can't imagine how difficult it will be to set up the necessary follow up appointments. I called the sales rep back immediately and said I wanted to be refunded as they over-promised their services. She told me to call the main line XXXXXXXXXXX and that I needed to put in a complaint and that Ideal Image would be the ones to determine if I could receive a refund or not. I did, and was told that I would receive a call in 7-10 business days. I still have not received a call back from the company. I feel like I was completely misled and scammed out of my money. I just want my funds returned.

I am leaving the country and will not be able to receive service through Ideal Image. They never gave me a contact to revert back to and I tried to cancel because I was told I could cancel. I was told I would get a call back, but nobody will call. I get a hold of them all for them to answer and hang up. Completely unprofessional and wrong. This is fraud and you cannot hold one's money when they never received any service from you. I want all contacts canceled and I want my $1035 back now! They are not honest when they take your money. This is wrong. I will tell everyone about this if I do not get any assistance on this. I want a answer now!

I'm reaching out because an unauthorized charge was processed on my account and I'm not sure how.

I've never provided you my personal banking information but I was charged $272.44 for what I'm not sure. I cancelled services weeks ago and provided all requested information from my surgeon and primary care physician. Nothing has been authorized and you all illegally withdraw money from my bank for services not authorized, received or performed.

They further charged a line of credit $3,500.00 causing my credit score to plummet.

I repeatedly emailed regarding this issue before a charge was made and Ideal Image agreed to cancel the appointments and that I wouldn't be charged. They never completed this process hoping I would choose other treatments then maxed out all credit lines and my debit card when no services were ever performed.

I followed their contract and submitted doctors notes explaining that my body could not withstand any procedure at this time.

They tried to get me to sign a contract promising I wouldn't take any recourse and then they would refund my money. My bank told me if I dropped the dispute Ideal Image doesn't have to pay me. Ideal Image waited until the 90 day mark to respond and eliminate any opportunity for recourse through my bank. They also only provided partial facts receiving a favorable decision and did not communicate that I submitted all requested documentation to them 30 days before any money was transacted.

If the refund the $271.44 processed 4/18/2022 back to my original payment method that would be sufficient.

I went to the Ideal Image located on ****************************************************************. I went to get services on Friday July 15, 2022. I went to pay and when I used my debit card at the Front Desk to pay it went through and the machine displayed thank you. However, the front desk receptionist stated that it did not go through on her end. She made me run my debit card 3 times. When I got home I checked my bank online and the debit card was charged 3 times. I have been calling Ideal Image and have also emailed three times a copy of the bank statement showing the deductions from Ideal Image being withdrawn three times. I have called every single day to get this resolved and get my monies reimbursed back to me but they continue to give me the run around. They supposedly opened up a case on 07/19 the case # XXXXXXXX but none has responded to my emails nor called me back and they just say they have to get the person handling my case to call me back.

April 2021 I had an online consult for laser hair removal wherein I was persuaded/pressured into signing a contract on the spot. $5000 loan +$250 for yearly membership (which was essentially advertised as required). I was told I had 18 months from my first appointment to have as many treatments as I want, as long as there's 6-10 week gap in between. Booking appointments at first wasn't difficult, although something seemed to go wrong at every single one. They "only booked for 2 areas" when I scheduled 5 (meaning they lacked time to do everything). On other occasions my chart had incorrect documentation claiming I received treatment on a certain area at my latest appointment when I most certainly had not. Once I hit about 5 total treatments, acquiring appointments became impossible. Upon reviewing my contract for possible legal recourse I've discovered that was an intentional number 5-- I was to receive 5 full treatments at minimum and "4 free touch-ups". THIS was not explained. It's almost August. My last treatment was January 3. Much longer than 10 weeks. They cancel any appointments since then that I manage to schedule-- one of them even after I arrived to check in. Was put on a infinite wait list where "we'll call you when we get an opening". They won't call back and don't like when you initiate. Not ONE opening in SEVEN months? They'll claim to now schedule week by week, but I can't even book for next week (the only time they're supposedly scheduling for) because they don't know the schedule yet. The only thing they've done to address it is extend my contract 30 days because "that's all they can do for now". I wasn't even sent proof of that being documented either. They DID manage to take another $250 for yearly membership I'm inadvertently prevented from using. And if I interpreted the contract correctly- we can't even sue ideal image for deceptive business practice or failure to provide promised services. That lone stipulation illustrates this is intentional.

I made an appointment with ideal image a month ago and made a contract with a third party for a loan. The same day, I canceled my appointment. Just to be clear, my appointment was set to be in early August, and I cancelled with more than a month in advance. Sales rep that sold this to me was pushy and rude and wouldn't accept my wishes to do research before I made appointment even though I told her multiple times how uncomfortable I was making this decision that day. She wouldn't give up and wouldn't let me off the zoom call when I tried to politely exit multiple times. Neither did sales rep ever say that services weren't refundable, and this consultation was on zoom so I couldn't see the contract and didn't even get a copy. I called the day after I made the appointment to get my loan cancelled. I was promised a call back but it's been since July 1st and the case is still pending. I need this loan cancelled before anything is paid so I don't lose the money over a service not provided. Thank you.

I applied for a loan and set an appointment to have services completed on April 29th of 2022. At that time I was offered a free service with my membership. I was told to call and set up my appointment for my free service and consultation by one of there recruiters by the name of Lauri Dessaint. I called and set up the appointment, when I went in to have the service completed at the end of the free service is when the worker looked at the area that I wanted to have the main work done on and told me that they could not help me that they do not work with my type of fatty tissue, and they would have to refund me the money back for the services. I told her ok and she told me to consult with sonobollo. I called sonobollo and they told me the same thing. However, I called back several different times trying to see when the refund was going to take place because the first payment for the loan was coming up for June 1, 2022. They told me they were working on it. The first week of May 2022, I received another call from Ashley Paschal asking about getting a different service. I said I would think about it, then I called them back and told no just refund me please. However, they did not refund any of the money until July 2022 in a partial payment. Now, they are saying that I owe them for the free service that they promised me, because they could not perform the rest of the work. I do not believe that I should owe them anything, because for 1 I did not default on the agreement they did, to they should have told me before the performing the free service that they could not do the other work and I would have to pay out of pocket, and lastly they took almost to months to refund me back for a service that they knew themselves months prior that they could not perform, which has brought my credit score down for none payment.
