      In 2023I purchased hair removal from ideal image in ***********. They advertised unlimited treatments and promised hair removal or unlimited treatments until. However in 2024 they changed their policy and switched my program. Now I have to pay $40 per touch up. They completely switched the terms of the agreement and scammed me into buying this through false advertising. This company should be sued over and over again but they prey on people with little resources. Do not trust or go to this company!

Our unlimited package has a life value of 16 months.  Unlimited treatments within the 16 month time period, after which time based on Membership purchase, the client is then entitled to touch *** at reduced cost( This was part of this clients initial purchase as well)

      I got the 16 month package for laser hair removal. My appts were cancelled multiple times. My treatments were not done in the correct time frame and I got no results. I will never come back to this place. There contacts are written to harm the consumer and this company has untrained staff. Save yourself and buy a Groupon instead. This place has horrible and rude customer service and they yield no results.

      On yhr first consultation I was told it's life time touchups for free. That's why I payed so much. Now they said contract expired and I have to copay for future touch **** What's the point of the lifetime thing then. A waste of my money.

      This place is a scam, they give you a consultation and dont tell you anything about a contract or a cut off date for refunds. I made an appointment late July was schedule in September on the 3rd. I received a text yesterday stating that the person who was supposed to do my service no longer worked there, so I called the store to confirm the message, I had to call 3 times to even get an answer, when someone finally answered she stated that I would be on a hold list till they hire and train new people. I told her I wanted the service done before my birthday so that wasnt going to work, she stated I could call customer service to get a REFUND, I paid a $350 deposit, I called customer service told her I wanted a refund never mentioned the contract never mentioned I couldnt get a refund she just stated they had another location I could go to if I was interested which was in *******, so I called Memphis location 5 times, no answer, the customer service number schedules me an appointment for the 31st in *******. I called today to cancel my contract and get a refund and they said I cannot get a refund or cancel this CONTRACT that I was never made aware of !! I never received any service and still have to pay the $700?!?! What kind of business is this???? What am I paying $700 for when i havent received no service from this business? **************** was rude, corporate was rude they do not care about the customers, all they do is scam and take your money and talk about a contract that was never discussed. This is the worst experience from a business I have ever had.

      I entered into a laser hair removal contract for the face,full arms and full legs.Under the contract my minor daughter was entitled to Unlimited hair removal sessions within 16 months from the first date of treatment.The company continued to perform the sessions after expiry of 16 month duration.Under the contract the company offered a life time guarantee under which we were entitled to 90% discount of the current single session price of the areas selected. After expiry of the sessions I was informed that I would have to pay a total of $330 for the areas selected by us under the contract. On August 14th I contacted customer service to get a quote for a single session for the desired areas. The amount quoted was $1895.00. based on that I should have to pay only 10% of $ 1895 which is approximately $190.00 and not $330 as quoted by the company. The amount of $330 being quoted is in violation of the contract as it is in excess of 10% of the cost of the current single session. I have attached the contract along with the quotes for the sessions.I did try and contact the officials in the company multiple times but they were extremely rude and told me that the amount of $330 has to to be paid.

      Ideal image cannot unilaterally change the terms of the contract signed by me without  my consent. Any changes to their policy cannot be retrospective.Therefore any changes made after the execution of the contract will not be binding on me.

      in addition they are indulging in false and misleading advertising.When I wanted a fresh contract for a new Laser removal treatment I was told that the 90% deduction policy would apply for Lifetime warranty while they were aware that this is not possible as their website and their communication with me clearly do not mention the 90% deduction for Lifetime guarantee instead they mention a certain fixed amount which is higher than the 90% deduction. In other words the company knowing was giving me false,deceptive and misleading information in order to get the new contract. They are intentionally quoting a lower cost for treatment after completion of those contract in order to deceive the new client.

      I went to Ideal Image about my permafrown and the downward turning of my mouth with marionette lines. I received a consultation online and purchased a filler and neurmodulator package for $1,045.00. I spoke with the ** in regards to my problem area. Also, I spoke to the sales representative and the nurse about the my frowning lines. The nurse used the filler all over my chin area and on the corner of my lips. Every last bit of the botox 50 units was used on my forehead and around the eyes, which was not my main area of concern and why I was seeking botix and filler. I told the nurse I was displeased because my mouth frowning downward did not change. The nurse told me, "You should wait for the swelling to go down and do a follow up in 2 weeks. I arrive for my follow up appointment which did not result in changing the downward turning of my mouth. I was seen by a nurse practitioner for my follow-up that was different from the nurse who did the procedure. This nurse practitioner explained why they do not botox the *** and the mentalis muscle. They only use the filler on the lower half. I told her I did not come to this clinic about frown lines at the forehead. I have permafrown. The nurse practitioner told me that I misunderstood and she needed to train the ** on how to make sure the patient understands. Frankly, the a dermatologist has done this treatment before on me and they informed me that they could treat the area as well. Both the ** and NP were unable to deal with that area of concern because of limitation in there ablity to practice. I have been to dermatologists on multiple occasions and they have handle my perma frown. No one should spend $1000 for something that was not asked for. If only a dermatologist can treat those areas and you all are not qualified to do so, make sure you let the patients know because now I have no treatment for the area I paid for. This is highly inappropriate.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I went in to Ideal Image on 2 occasions after the first visit where the injectable were put into my face and after knowing that they were unable to treat the areas of concern because they were not trained to do so and still proceeded to charge and take my money is a huge problem. The results that they knew were not going to treat  my permafrown without botox and filler in the area and was sold and not used as such was deceitful, irresponsible, and misleading.  They did not offer any type of refund because they said they can't and they are unable to do the work around the corners of my mouth because they are not trained to do so.  I saw the team at Ideal Image for 2 follow-up on appointments /9/24 and 8/21/24 with the same conclusion.  I was charged for a service that they were not trained to do (botox and fill  my permafrown and downward turning of my mouth). I have had this service done by dermatologists and nurse practitioners prior.  Ideal Image has the picture to show the BBB the problem at hand and the lack of a resolution.  Maybe Ideal Image can tell and show the BBB the results and the lack of a resolution. They have run me around town to say and do much of nothing but charge for treatments that they could not do which cost my $1040.00

      Our contracts you signed do not offer a guarantee of results for any service offered by us.  Treatment has been performed therefore the client is financially responsible for treatment.  We have offered to schedule the client in  a sister location to discuss her results and concerns with a different Practitioner and she has subsequently cancelled that appointment.

      I went to the sister location and I have had 3 appointments with Ideal Image where they have seen the work that they have done and each of the 4 practioners at both ********* location and 2 practioner at the ********* location.  They all said that they were unable to do work on the lower face due to lack of trainering in that area.  They are not trained but when I tokd them what I was there for they did it as if they were. So for them to say I missed the appointment and cancel is an out right lie.  I will be filing with Consumer Affairs as well as continuing to speak with the BBB in regards to lies and charging to work they were not trained to do but lied and took money and reported that I was not at appointments when I saw 4 different practioners at 2locations that said they see why I am upset.

      I bought two packages through ideal image. After noticing damage to my skin for one of the services (BBL) they are refusing to offer me a refund. They never had a physician reach out to me regarding the damage that was caused (as promised). Further, before I received the BBL treatment I was deceived into thinking the treatment would fix some red spots on my ********* did not. The manager stated with confidence that the spots would go away. Additionally, I was given conflicting information about the safety of laser hair removal after sun exposure. My first 4-5 sessions, the practioner reassured me that Sun exposure was fine if I wore sunscreen & proceeded to treat me with the laser. Today, the practitioner refused to treat me due to sun exposure. I could have had further skin damage had I gone to the other people. I do not trust these practitioners know what they are talking about & have had very inconsistent training to assure their patients will not be harmed or damaged by the lasers. I do not trust that they will not put me in ***** way to make a profit. They are refusing to refund me for the services despite having adverse reactions. Further, they have failed to offer me a timely consult with a trained physician to resolve these issues. I just want a refund for the services I am afraid to use due to lack of safety.

      Date of Transaction: August 2, 2024 Amount Paid: $3,862.04 Service Committed: CoolSculpting and Lifetime Guarantee Membership Nature of the Dispute: On August 2, 2024, I paid Ideal Image $3,862.04 for CoolSculpting services to be performed on 8/22/2024, 8/27/2024, and 8/29/24 and a Lifetime Guarantee Membership. After the transaction, I received informed consent documentation detailing specific risks and discomforts associated with the procedure, which were not disclosed during the consultation. This information caused significant anxiety, leading me to request a full refund. On August 4, 2024, I promptly reached out to the company via email, expressing my concerns and requesting a refund due to my unwillingness to proceed with the procedure after learning about these risks. I proceeded with a phone call on August 5, 2024, but received a forceful approach of demands to perform other services I do not need with Ideal Image. I was informed that my request would be escalated because of the company's 3-day refund policy expiration. I was not informed of any refund policy, I have not received any service, and I am not going to receive any service because of the associated risks. My anxiety has increased because of this issue, and I am very unhappy.Resolution Attempts: Since then, I have repeatedly contacted Ideal Image to request a refund, but my efforts have not led to a resolution. Although the company has ceased making phone calls after I specifically requested to communicate via email only, they have not responded to my request for a refund. My payment card has not been credited with the refund as of today.Advertisement Details: The service was advertised to me via email, and no mention of the risks or discomforts later detailed in the informed consent was made during the consultation process.I am seeking the immediate return of the full payment of $3,862.04.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I contacted Ideal Image at the toll-free number provided and spoke with ****** at ************** at 4:54 pm today. During our conversation, ****** stated that my credit card refund is currently frozen due to a dispute I filed with my credit card company. I asked if Ideal Image would process a refund if I canceled the dispute. ****** informed me that Ideal Images policy is that all services are final and non-refundable unless I provide medical proof that I am unable to proceed with the procedure. According to ******, I do not qualify for a refund because Ideal Image deems their services to be final once payment is made. This response is deeply concerning and disheartening. At no point during my consultation was I informed of these restrictive policies, especially the condition requiring medical proof for a refund. Additionally, the risks and discomforts associated with the procedure, which prompted my decision not to proceed, were only disclosed in the detailed informed consent provided after payment was made. This lack of transparency has left me feeling misled and extremely anxious.  I do not agree with this outcome and continue to seek a full refund. The refusal to refund based on undisclosed terms is unreasonable and unfair, particularly given that the critical information about risks and the non-refundable policy were withheld until after payment was processed.
      I kindly request that the BBB assist in facilitating a resolution that honors my request for a refund of $3,862.04.

I reiterated the need for my refund. ****** blatantly told me that I do not qualify for refund unless I submit a medical reason.       I am rejecting this response because: On August 4, 2024, I emailed Ideal Image requesting a full refund and followed up with a phone call on August 5, 2024, still within their 3-day refund policy. Despite my timely request, Ideal Image denied the refund, stating that all sales are final unless I provide medical proof that I am unable to undergo the procedurea policy that was never disclosed. I filed a BBB complaint in *******, where Ideal Image is headquartered. Their response claimed that, due to an active credit card dispute, they couldnt process a refund. Following their advice, I filed a chargeback with *********** Plc, but it was denied because Ideal Image only provided a payment receipt, with no proof that services were rendered. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this, including contacting Ideal Images Client Support, but they maintain that all sales are final. I have never visited any Ideal Image location or received any treatment or product. The companys failure to disclose health risks and refund policies amounts to misrepresentation and lack of informed consent. Despite following all the recommended steps, I remain without a refund for services I never received. This has caused significant distress, and I am now filing a complaint with the Georgia BBB, as the procedure was to occur in ******, ***

      I am rejecting this response because:  
      Ideal Image's response does not address the core issue of my complaint.
      To clarify:
      At no point during my phone consultation on August 2, 2024, was I informed of any refund policy. The representative took my payment without disclosing any terms, conditions, or refund guidelines.
      The basis of my refund request is not solely about timingit is about misrepresentation and lack of informed consent. The adverse effects and risks of the procedure were never disclosed to me before payment. I only became aware of them after receiving the informed consent document, which was embedded beneath the receipt in my email.
      I initiated my refund request immediately upon discovering this omission. I first emailed ************************************ on August 4, 2024, formally requesting a full refund for the CoolSculpting procedure and lifetime membership due to undisclosed risks. I followed up with another email on August 5, 2024. Instead of a resolution, Ideal Image repeatedly called me, directing me to keep calling their "resolution department." The representative even urged me to use my money for other services at Ideal Image, which I declinedI do not need or want any additional services. All I want is my rightful refund.
      I cannot be forced to undergo a procedure that could pose harm to my health. Given that I was not informed of these risks beforehand, my consent was neither fully informed nor voluntary.
      My refund request was made in good faith as soon as I realized that critical information was withheld from me. Ideal Image should not be allowed to withhold my payment based on undisclosed policies and a lack of transparency.
      I respectfully request that Ideal Image issue a full refund of $3,862.04, as I have never received any services, and my decision not to proceed was based on newly disclosed medical risks that were hidden from me at the time of payment.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Ideal Image statement is factually incorrect and does not address my complaint.
      Key Facts:
      At no point during my initial consultation on August 2, 2024, was I provided with or informed of any terms, conditions, refund policies, or informed consent requirements.
      The service agreement and informed consent were only made available to me AFTER I had already made my payment. I had to scroll down beneath the payment receipt in my email to find the consent document, which is where I first learned about the serious health risks associated with the procedure (e.g., dizziness, nausea, fainting).
      Had these risks been clearly explained to me upfront, I would have never proceeded with payment. I should not be forced into a procedure that poses potential harm to my health simply because Ideal Image failed to provide adequate disclosure before taking my money.
      Ideal Image's argument about my "acknowledgment" of terms is misleadingone cannot agree to terms that were never presented or discussed before payment. The fact that I immediately requested a refund on August 4, 2024, after discovering these hidden risks, further proves that I was not properly informed before making my decision.
      I stand by my rightful request for a full refund of $3,862.04, as Ideal Image failed to provide full disclosure before processing my payment, making their actions deceptive and unfair. I appreciate BBBs continued mediation in holding Ideal Image accountable for their misleading business practices.

      Around the first of February 2024 (maybe end of January, not sure) I had a consult for Botox. I specifically stated that I wanted treatment around my lower face, around the chin area. Of course, I was told that it would be okay. I showed-up for my appointment and was informed that ***** could not be used in the area that I wanted. I spoke with ********, we talked about fillers, she was very reassuring. I was never interested in fillers but decided to give it a try due to how safe ******** made me feel. I scheduled an appointment but had to cancel due to work and another due to COVID. When I contacted the location to schedule for the fillers, I was informed that ******** was no longer there. I scheduled another appointment which is August 31st, I have thought about the procedure and thought about it, I just cannot get comfortable with going through with it. I sent an email to Ideal Image, explaining my situation, I got a call from a representative who was pretty much insulting...basically called me a liar by stating that I will not miss informed. I have asked for this to be escalated, as of today I have not spoken to anyone other than another customer service representative. Unfortunately, this is not my first experience, and I believe that because they have a no refund policy, they have a practice of not being truthful upfront. If I was informed that Botox could not be used, I would have not moved forward. I am being told that I can only get a credit. If there was another procedure that they offered that I needed/wanted the credit would not be an issue. However, there is no additional service that I am interested in. I gave Ideal Image a second chance and regret it. My recommendation to those seeking service for the first time, make sure you get everything in writing before making a payment. If they cannot do that, I suggest you seeking service elsewhere.
