I have a lifetime membership with Ideal Image. Recently when scheduling an appointment for a touch up, I was notified that the prices that were guaranteed on my lifetime membership contract have gone up 260%. I reviewed my contract and nowhere on the contract does it say that the prices are subject to change. I called the customer service line and spoke to a representative who was very rude and dismissive. She stated that "all customers" were sent an email with the price increases. I was never sent an email and Ideal Image should honor the prices listed on the contract.Business Response

In February I thought of getting lip injections. I am severely afraid of needles when it comes to giving blood, shots, etc. I paid $374 dollars to schedule an appointment but ended up canceling the appointment as I am not able to get myself to be comfortable enough to have needles stuck into my face. I called today to get a refund of the money I gave them and the woman refused. She stated that I only had 3 days to get a refund, which I was never told, otherwise I definitely would have requested the money back then. The reason I waited so long was because I thought maybe my fear would lessen but it just will not. She also stated I signed a contract which I absolutely did not. In the initial conversation the woman never stated any information on a time limit of refund nor that I had a contract. They record their phone calls so if you listen to it you will absolutely hear nothing about only 3 days nor that there was a contract. The woman I spoke to today was very smug and rude, she stated she was the supervisor and the manager. I asked if I need to get an attorney or what to get my money back and she said there was no way to get my money refunded. I will never get services through this company especially after how I was treated today. I want my money refunded immediately. Thank you for your time.Business Response

I have scheduled two appointments in 2025 for my hair laser removal for Saturday since I work Monday-Friday 10-6 and cannot go during the week. The south center did not have a lot of availability for Saturday and I had to wait over 2 months each time they cancelled. I requested the manager of the office to call me and she did not. I bought a Juvederm lip filler syringe and scheduled appt on March 1 at ********* IN ideal image. I drove all the way to the location for my schedule appointment and when I arrive, the doors were locked. No one was there. I knew I had been duped. They called me later, begging me to come to the northside office, which was over an hour away and told me they could inject the filler there. I was very hesitant. I showed up for my appointment and the young injector informed me she was not trained enough to do what the website states they are able to do with Juviderm ultra XC syringe. It is used to treat the lips and per oral lines as it states on their website. The injector informs me she is not educated or trained to be able to do that. I was very nervous and do not want an unqualified injector injecting, potentially dangerous medicine into my face. I asked for a refund firstly since they were no-show on my appointment and breach our agreement and secondly, because they do not hired skilled injectors, those skilled injectors, admit that they are not trained properly, the attorney general should look into this as well. The room was also unclean with mousedroppings in the corner. I did not want to be in an unhygienic space and be traded. I am nicely asking for a refund and Ive been mocked, laughed at haunted by multiple customer service members. They keep throwing a contract in my face, but I did not sign a contract when I purchased the filler over the phone and was told they would be able to inject my lips and per oral, which is a downright lie.Business Response

To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Ideal Image regarding a ********************* contract. I was drawn to Ideal Image by their advertising and reached out about CoolSculpting. The representative rushed me to sign up, pushing me to act quickly to get a promotional deal. I mentioned I would be traveling overseas soon, but they assured me it was not an issue and urged me to proceed.Trusting them, I applied for financing and paid the setup fee plus two monthly installments. However, once they secured my payment, Ideal Images service quality plummeted. Communication stopped, and they made no effort to schedule my ************* my scheduled appointment, the CoolSculpting machine malfunctioned. I was turned away, and no one followed up to reschedule.With no service provided and my departure looming, I requested to cancel the contract and refund my payments. Ideal Image refused, citing a service agreement that was never clearly explained to me. They insisted the purchase was non-refundable and threatened to send my account to collections if I stopped paying.Throughout this process, I have been a responsible customer: I disclosed my travel plans, made timely payments, and tried to proceed with treatment. In return, I received nothing but broken promises, poor service, and now threats of collections for a treatment I never got. I feel misled, frustrated, and taken advantage of. I am now trapped in a situation that has caused me tremendous stress and financial strain as I prepare to leave the country.I am seeking BBBs assistance to resolve this matter fairly. I paid for and received treatments from January 2023 until November 2024. I paid a total of ******. The business committed to provide me LHR treatment by experienced professionals. They did not use settings or treat me in accordance to LHR standard of care and treated untreatable areas causing increase in hair growth (paradoxical hypertrichosis, a known phenomenon in LHR). When deliberating treatment areas they falsely assured me that I would experience reduction in all treated areas. During the course of treatment when I raised complaints of increase in hair growth they assured me at the completion of treatments that I would receive hair reduction, despite common industry knowledge.Business Response

I called to make an appointment for a service on 1/30/2025. I called back immediately afterwards around 2/1/25 or 2/2/225, to cancel the service. I cancelled the service due to being uncomfortable and scared to move forward with the service due to the reviews of this type of service. Initially, during the time of making the appointment, I signed up for their financing to finance the service, but I was under the impression that as long as I canceled the service, that the financing would be canceled. As far as I knew, the service was cancelled and that was the end of it. However, on 3/17/2025, I received a debit out my checking for $80.48. This is when I realized that they (Ideal Image) didn't cancel financing. I contacted Ideal Image on 3/27/25, to dispute the charge. They informed me that I waited too late cancel and that there was no refund. I had no service, so how is there no refund is what I asked. Then, they stated that I needed to cancel within 3 or 4 days, and I stated that I did cancel within that time frame. I called back a couple of days later after the appointment was made to cancel the service. On 3/27/25, I called them 3x's to get the issued resolved, but I kept being placed on hold and then when I would call back no one would answer. Finally, after speaking to a *****, then a Shekah, Shekah informed me that she would look into it and get back with me. As of 4/15/2025, no one reached back out to me. On 4/16/25, I called back 3x's but no one picked up the phone. I stayed on hold until I hung up. I almost felt that they knew my phone number and would not pickup. Out of the blue, on 4/17/2025 (today), I received a call from their corporate office. I spoke with a *******, and she informed that I did not cancel the service, but that I cancelled the appointment only. I told her that canceled everything. I asked: shouldn't I have a right to cancel a service if I'm uncomfortable? She kept saying I only canceled the appointment. Please helpBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because: Nothing has been resolved. They (Ideal Image) are stating that I'm obligated to pay them $1600.00, when no service was rendered. I canceled the service on Monday 2/3/2025 because I was under the impression that the 3- day cancellation notice was 3 business days. Now, they are saying that their cancellation notice is within 72 hours including weekends. These people are a bunch of crooks, and it this is so unacceptable. At this point, I don't know what else to do except get an attorney involved or take them to court. How can they make their own rules and just take money for a service that was not rendered? BBB, do you have any further suggestions?

On March 22, 2025, I had a consultation at Ideal Image ********* location for filler and *****. I paid in full and scheduled my appointment for early April. The next day, I called to confirm a specific injection technique (Cannula) would be used and was told only two nurses were trained for it. My appointment was rescheduled to April 24 at 9:00 AM to accommodate one of them.Yesterday, I received a message canceling an appointment I hadnt booked. When I called, I was told the provider I was scheduled with was no longer available, and theyd need to move me to someone else. I explained I had made a specific request, and the receptionist insisted another nurse could handle itwithout confirming they were trained. When I raised concerns, she said she'd check with the manager. After putting me on hold, she returned saying the manager was busy and would call me back, which never happened.This experience has left me feeling uneasy and unsure about the qualifications of your staff. There has been a lack of transparency, follow-through, and regard for my initial request. During the call, I explained my concerns and shared that I no longer trust the information I'm being given by the Nashville location. I requested a refund unless theres an option to continue treatment at a different location. They told me a refund wasnt possible, but they would investigate the issue and get back to me later that day or by Friday, April 18. However, I havent heard anything since. I even followed up with a call on Monday, April 21, and left a voicemail, but I still haven't received a response as of todayTuesday, April 22.

Contacted sales agent to discuss solution for skin sagging under neck area. Sales representative stated that the procedure would provide a NOTICEABLE improvement in skin appearance. However, AFTER I agreed to the sale and provided my credit card information I was provided with the written disclaimer that the improvement was not guaranteed and may or may not provide improvement in appearance. This was a bait -and-switch deceptive sales tactic. Had the sales representative gone over the terms of the agreement in advance I would not have agreed to a (maybe-maybe not) results expectation. Again, the terms of the agreement were not presented until after the credit card was processed. When I arrived for the procedure, the technician IMMEDIATELY stressed that results were "unpredictable" and not guaranteed. This was a SERIOUS deviation between the results described by the sales representative and the service technician. In fact, they claimed that additional treatments would be required in 6 months!!! Once the results were FULLY explained to me. I asked if I could cancel the contract before beginning the procedure. My request was refused and I was told no. False representations of appearance results were made PRIOR to completing the credit card transaction. A week has passed with no NOTICEABLE improvement in sagging skin appearance.....this company (IDEAL IMAGE) engages in deceptive business practices to mislead senior citizens. I went to ideal 2 years ago unfortunately I signed up with them I regret it to this day. I got a loan out for 7,000$ and once I signed I tried to cancel it 14 days after, they told me I couldnt cancel it because it had been more then 24 hours. I did 3 sessions and stopped going for 5 months (busy with school) then I tried to make an appointment and they said my remaining sessions had expired, I complained and they gave me an extension. I finally finished paying the 7,000$ and did all of the sessions expect 1, so it expired. A month ago I realized ideal was charging me for a subscription of 250$ for a membership. I never consented to that and I only found out because I started going through my junk mail and they were going to charge me another 250$ for something I didnt even know I had! When I finished paying my 7,000$ I called ideal and I asked if I was done with my payment they told me I had payed everything in full and that they worn charge me again but they have been charging me for something I never signed up for. Very upset this is all a scam, never saw progress, customer service was terrible. Ive tried to get my money back because Im not happy with the results but its a complete fail. Ive read a lot of comments/ reviews of people who feel the same way. I told them I couldnt afford it (college student) they didnt care even though I tried to cancel it before 30 days. They also canceled my appointments because they over scheduled and when I had to cancel an appointment they charged me 50$Business Response
