Horrific. Took my Dog here on 6/26/2025. He wasn't eating & couldn't even hold down water. They said his blood work & x-rays all looked great for a Dog his age (11.5 years old). They offered to give him some anti nausea medicine, which I thought was fine & would hopefully help him hold down some food & be able to eat again. 12 hours later my Dog was dead. Reading the side effects of the medicine they gave him after the fact they included dehydration & loss of appetite. He was aldready dehydrated & not eating. They shouldve known this! I basically paid them $965 to kill my Dog. Horrible, rotten, incompetent!

Please do not go to this place. It’s a SCAM! They prey on your emotions. They misdiagnose your animal and exploit every penny out of you for the love you have for your pets. As an emergency 24/7 ER they take the emergency fee and give you an enormous bill to keep their franchises running! Do NOT give them even the emergency pet visit money. Find someone else and take your pet to people who actually care about you and your pet

Called in distress due to my hedgehog at the end of life. Brought her there within 30 minutes. After turning her over to the tech, paperwork was to be filled out. End result had i not consented to pay 497.00 for euthanize they would bring her back to me. Had i chose for them to mass cremate it would have been 700.00. If I wanted her remains 800. 00. Complete robbery. Hands tied to not see her suffer i paid the 500.00 and brought her home to bury. Why be a vet if no compassion.

I am writing to formally express my deep concern and disappointment with the level of care my dog, a black lab mix, received during a recent emergency visit to your facility.Upon arrival, my dog was suffering from a burst tumor and a high fever. The initial assessment from your veterinarian was an immediate and alarming declaration of cancerdelivered without any diagnostic imaging or supporting tests at that point. This premature and distressing conclusion proved to be inaccurate, as subsequent x-rays and scans revealed no evidence of cancer.Furthermore, my dog was administered a significant amount of medication, some of which were later identified as needed to be changed. I was contacted several days after administration to inform me of the medication error. This lapse in accurate and timely care is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about oversight and communication within your team. The billing process was also problematic. I was provided with an *** quote, only to be charged thousands of dollars more than initially discussed. It was only after the payment was processed that I was informed about the option of a 12-month financing plan with 0% interestinformation that would have been helpful prior to payment.Additionally, the discharge paperwork I received stated that my dog was alert, eating, and walking. In reality, she was brought out to me on a stretcher in an unresponsive, near-comatose state. She refused food and was unable to walk. We had to seek further emergency care at another hospital and are now working with a mobile vet tech to help her regain mobility. It is clear to me that had we not sought additional treatment; my dog might not have survived.I feel strongly that the treatment she received at your facility was not in her best interest. From premature diagnoses to medication errors and questionable billing practices, situation. Based on my experience, I would not recommend your hospital. Run !

I will be contacting my **** for the ************** -*********** location!! Disgusting money grabbing scammers - This place should be shut down!!! All locations are the same -My poor 2yr old pup suffered until my credit card *** went higher with their charges, also had to be paid before they would even help the dog she was in distress. They prey on emotions, with grim diagnosis but if you pay 1st ??!!! Something is seriously wrong with these people and something needs to be done ! An immediate investigation is needed*** if I couldve selected, no stars, I would

DON'T WALK BUT RUN FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!! They Don't care about your pets. I brought my dog there and after paying over $6K and getting no answers I had to leave and find another Animal ER who Helped. BluePearl would give me advise on my dog then when a new shift would come in a new Doctor would give me a complete different diagnosis. Once the orthopedic determined they couldnt operate they discharged my dog. He didnt Pee or Eat on his own BUT they ************ These people are a disgrace!!! If I could have given them ZERO STARS I would have! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!!!!

Scam. ******. Made my cat suffer for three hours and I had to pay them $1400. I had to take to another vet to get a correct diagnosis for my emergency! They need to be shut down and prosecuted. They are the most evil company Ive interacted with. They care nothing about animals. Only money.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS...STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM FEST! If I could rate this hole a ZERO I would have. This place should be shut down, sued and banned from the US. They care nothing about your pet, and more of how much money is in your wallet. To hell with them, they thought I was going to pay them $300-$800 for my dogs eye exam...I replied are you crazy? I don't even spend that much on my own eye exams and with glasses to boot. I told them to shove my appointment between their two back pockets. I found a much better vet in Elkton that's been around for 35 years, not a bunch of quacks. I wouldn't take road kill to Blue Pearl.

At Rockville BluePearl Dr. R*******’s actions have shown a blatant disregard for ethical standards and animal welfare. His pressure to push unnecessary surgeries for financial gain, particularly his recommendation to amputate my dog’s leg when it was not needed, is absolutely inexcusable. My dog underwent surgery on September 13th at BluePearl in Augusta, GA, for soft tissue sarcoma. After relocating, the Augusta surgeon referred me to Rockville BluePearl solely for a bandage change. At Rockville BluePearl, Raphael R******* attempted to convince me that my dog’s leg needed to be amputated. This was less than two weeks post-surgery after we were explicitly told by the original surgeon that the procedure was successful and no further action was required except for bandage changes. Raphael R******* pushed hard during our session, creating a sense of urgency and claiming amputation was “more convenient.” The session was relentless pushing, guilt-tripping, and attempting to make me feel bad for not immediately agreeing. I sought opinions from three more doctors, including the Hope Veterinary in Vienna, VA, and two Banfield veterinarians. Every single one of them confirmed that the amputation advice was complete nonsense. My dog simply needed her bandages changed every week. While most veterinarians and staff are ethical and compassionate, there are bad actors—and at Rockville BluePearl, Butcher R******* is one of them. It breaks my heart to think that someone who swore an oath to protect animal health and welfare would stoop so low as to harm an innocent dog for profit. Today, my dog is walking, running, and enjoying life with all four legs, just as her original surgeon assured me she would. If I had trusted Raphael R*******'s shameless sales pitch and pressure to amputate, she would now be unnecessarily living with only three legs. I will never forgive this blatant disregard for ethics and compassion.
